    Great job. I haven't done a cooler yet but I have made a table and a propane fire pit out of whiskey barrels and they sure are a fight. I'm sure if you advertise a few of those they will sell like crazy 👍👍

    i just made a bar out of wine barrels, I ran into the same issue with screws and screw tips breaking.. Tek screws are definitely the way to go1 nice build..

    i think i would place the hole on the bottom not as part of the door. this way water can drain out as the ice melts

    I'm just going to play devil's advocate here and ask, do you really have to tighten the Rings because I believe that you're just supposed to soak the barrels so they swell? Because if you expose it to moisture after tightening it, doesn't that mean that it'll get too tight and pop the screws and rings when it gets wet

    There are special bits for impacts. That's probably why the bit broke
