I must thank you, as I have never fitted etched nameplates before and this video has helped me greatly. I looked at all the retailers and found Fox to be best for my needs. I was glad to see your tips on cutting the plates out and fitted the nameplates. Thanks very much indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 👍👍👍
Good video. One tip for nameplate alignment is put a strip of masking tape where the lower edge of the nameplate plate will sit on the loco body. Then after you have put your glue on the back of the plate simply align the plate to the top edge of the masking tape.
An other very useful video, I have had a Bachmann 9f to renumber and add etched plates to Black Prince for ages. been putting it off . Now you have given me the confidence to have ago at it. cheers Paul at Sandling Junction.
One job I avoid is fitting plates, have to get a friend to do it as I have the worst hand known to man haha! Just can't keep my hand still enough and then it's too easy to ruin a expensive model, but otherwise very nice video and thanks for sharing 👍
Don't use model master spent 66 pounds on plates and never received them and after countless times trying to contact them still haven't received them almost a year now You have been warned

Would the masking tape ruin the paint when peeling off?

This was perfect. Been wanting to do this but not entirely sure where to buy these. Learned a lot from this so thanks for sharing, Clint
The place to look is a website called fox transfers.
