I think the only times he doesn't voice C-3PO were the Family Guy parodies because they're specifically not the actual characters. I don't remember the exact quote but Anthony Daniels has said that he actively tries to voice the character in every official appearance regardless of how many lines he has. He loves the character & the work _that_ much to voice him in everything.
