I'm no expert but I think just changing the bulbs would do. Just do some research and make sure you get the proper type of bulb for your vehicle. They're Halogen, HID, and LED (which are the best but are a lot more expensive and most aren't street legal apparently).
Brighter bulbs will work. But if the lenses have that yellowish cloudy film on them you can clean those up with a Headlight Restoration kit and that will also improve the brightness.
I have a 2015 Hyundai Veloster Turbo and my headlight low beam driver side is not working. It’s an awkward and tight squeeze to get the bulb out but I got it out. The problem now is how to put the bulb back in the correct way with the bulb being a H11b basically with the plug prongs or whatever their called on the side instead of the bottom of a headlight bulb like I’ve seen in other videos. Please help I have to do this on my own and been driving with one low beam out and the other on with my fog lights as well. Just don’t want to get caught up and end up with a ticket while driving….help?!?
