This was my favorite story from Emile's latest stop by VINwiki. I can't wait to see what comes next.
I hope is dad gets to see his car
I'll have to agree with you, Ed... Emile's story are always good... but this by far is my favorite! I can't wait until part 2!
I hope he is offered the chance to buy that car.
Ed Bolian
That was hands down, a great story.
He said “Red cars” because he “might get in trouble”...
I’m so sold. 😂
Great Story, great story.
Much agreed, Ed.
what a wholesome story. Emile has always been among my favorite story tellers but holy crap he just took it to another level. please please please keep us posted on when he actually drives it
Really needs a follow up, once that happend!
The dude has 9 of them. He should let Emile buy the car back, if he can afford it.
brian4480 exactly what i thought
I'd love to see a follow up that he did end up buying it
Understandable but i think roughly 300 or so were ever made and its worth roughly 1.2 million dollars? Quite a big "have this" typa deal lol, cars like that are basically investments
id say buy it for the price the dealer asked for it in peurtooo ricooo
That would be such a cool story. You'd think the current owner's fleet of supercars must contain many more cars than the 3 Lexus LFAs and 9 Toyota GT 2000s. That's how those guys roll, no? Maybe he'd leave it to the guy in his will or something. That would be cool.
This story gives me chills. Everything happens for a reason, I can’t wait to see what his reaction is to seeing the car.
Hands down one of the best storytellers on VinWiki!
That's a funny way of saying Ed
Ed and Rabbit are the best. Emile is a close third
I agree I really like his modest nature. Really emotional and personable storyteller as well.
Ed second
Maybe if he got to keep the car, but sound like he just gets to drive it.
This is hands down my favorite video. Viva Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 and the only Toyota 2000GT that was on the island!
You have no idea the sort of old school Toyotas that you can find down there.
Lenta Jzx Being Puerto Rican and from Isabella Puerto Rico, I do know 😂. I’m honestly just surprised that there was a 2000GT there. That’s epic out of the hand full made one made it to that island from Japan 😎
@@DjKeNNyKiLoz
That is true I wouldn't believe that it was a time that a 2000GT came out of the island.
I’ve only got to experience one 2000GT and it was beautiful, I would of lost my mind seeing one on the island in the late 60’s early 70’s.
There's ALOT of AE85-86s E V E R Y W H E R E
My eyes got a little moist, and I had a grin from ear to ear.
Man......Man!!!!
I am 60. My grand dad was a mechanic and raced hill climbs.
One of my earliest memories was watching Jack Brabham racing in Formula 1 in the 60s, sitting on my grand dad's bed with him....he was sick in his final years.
When I was 3 or 4 he'd show me where to check the petrol, oil, and let me hold the air pressure hose. He'd pop the engine cover, start the car up then get me to pull an ignition cable so I could hear what a car firing on 3 or 5 cyliinders sounded like.
If he had lived, I am sure I'd have followed in his footsteps. I absolutely loved supercars and motor racing.
He passed when I was 6.
There's something about cars that transcends generations and unites men from all walks of life.
There'd be no wars if men from across the world could just hang out with cars.
helicart this is one of the most powerful comments I have ever read, I want to thank you for taking the time out of your day to write this.
Meanwhile people say that they can beat you in their sh#ty civic if they had an ls. Aside than that I'm glad your father was like that and I'm sorry he passed away so early. May God be with you
So now I have to wait for Game of thrones, the Avengers movie, and you to drive this 2000 Gt.
Top 3 on my bucket list
If someone asks why I love this channel, I am gonna show them this video. Amazing story.
Thank you Emile and Thank you Ed. This was amazing!
Took the words out of my mouth, this is exactly why I love being a car enthusiast! This is the best part, the community. And the cars are pretty fun too. :)
So true
I Agree! Rabbits first day selling cars is good too!
And I thought Emilie's story of getting hit by the plane could not be beaten. Fab, thanks Ed
I think it's safe to say we need a PART 2 of this, streamed or recorded by Ed himself. I would breakdown in tears with Emile if the guy just gives him the car on that faithful day.
The 1994 red Chevy Cavalier and 1980s navy Cadillac De Ville were my childhood.
I had a red 94 Cavalier too. I actually LOVED that car. Was a junker, but some of my very best memories, happened in that car.😊
Idk its prob worth over a mil......... would be exceptionaly nice of him and make him the biggest chad in existance but its doubtful.
Emile wasn't the only one with goose bumps, and a tear in the eye...
Now this was an outstanding video can wait to hear and see when goes to drive the car..
he was just teasing him, this is what i would do, i mean the new owner must think this guy is a loser, i have his car, this is what someone told me im not sure if its true
Cant lie started getting teary eyed myself... I know that feeling. I get that feeling every time I think about my dad old 51 Chevy he put so much time and effort into when I was growing and was forced to sell when our family needed money. One day I hope to recover that old truck put as much love and care into it as i can and pass it on to my son..
Waiting for part 2. Please try to get good audio of the cars driving, I can only imagine how good it would sound in real life.
Just like that, one of my favorite stories, please post another video with the updated drive. Love the 2000 GT!!!
This might be the best one yet! Can't wait for the rest of the story!
Thanks, VinWiki you guys are the best
Emile has great stories with this one and the story of getting hit by an airplane, but what’s cool about VinWiki is the long list of different characters with different great stories! I love them all
IMO, this is the best story I've heard on this channel. I don't understand why Emile cannot say the F-word (Ferrari), but he can mention other car manufacturers.
I started getting teary eyed at the same point he said ‘I have your car’
Terrific story
91* people must be holding their phone upside down
Bobby Thierry nah it's just the Australians watching
Yo you brought tears into my eyes,,,, @@drewconnor5057
Just some BMW owners.
Some E-Type Owners
96 when i looked at it....... 96... "69" LOL
These are the kinds of videos I subscribed for 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
"...so I guess I'm a V10 guy."
You know you're a true car guy when cylinder count is how you define what kind of "guy" you are 😂
I can't wait to see the sequel to this video! This is why VW has be become my favorite car channel
I just want to say thanks. I'm a car guy, and your content just makes my day ! Thanks Ed
This guy is top 3 best story tellers on Vinwiki
James Manning ok great. No one cares. Now shut up
2000GT to LFA. Now that is some lineage. 💪😍😎
Favorite story by far. Chills the entire time, I was basically tearing up the entire time.
Happy Monday VINwiki fans! Finding long lost cars is one our favorite uses of the free VINwiki app. Be sure to build a list of all the cars you have owned so you can follow them and see where they turn up down the road!
But the only car I have is a RC one
Only works in the USA right?
@@MiTraFilipesoares no I think it works any were
I want to see when he reunites with the car...im going to cry
VINwiki app on Android hasn't worked in months for me. I have tried on multiple devices, it simply auto closes.
Amazing story. Bummer he can't afford to buy it back from the current owner. What a small world
Don’t normally comment but I genuinely got emotional listening to that story. This is truly why cars are great, the people and the memories.
Wow, I teared up a bit watching this. Beautiful story sir. I hope you get to drive with him soon!!
PERFECT story
Dont forget the 2000gt was also in the james bond film you only live twice I'm pretty sure they had to remove the roof as sean connery could not fit in the car.
This is probably the most amazing story I have ever watched
The 2000 GT is still on my bucket list to see. As a collector of vintage Toyota vehicles it would really be special to see one.
I stopped writing my research when I saw a glimpse of the name “2000GT”. Not gonna regret clicking.
If there were ever a better example of good living....
You don’t need to painstakingly own these cars
You just need a nice rich person to lend it to you 😎
Absolutely an incredible story, especially for a motorhead. Can't wait to hear the second chapter.
My new favourite VINwiki story. So happy for Emile to find (and soon drive) his father's 2000 GT.
If reincarnation is real, this guy must have literally saved the planet in a past life without any recognition. Emile is living the dream this time around.
Last time I was this early, I didn't realize cleaning the AMS shop was my dream job.
Thank you for sharing....made my heart smile. Have fun driving your dads car!
Chills for this man and his story.
Best story EVER! I'm a 6'3 300lb man and you got me teary eyed 👍
@Its Me lmao
One of the best stories ever about one of my favorite cars ever. Didn’t even know he is from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. Makes it even better. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
UD Fab there is an earlier video from him with another interesting story and he casually mentioned Puerto Rico as well, I was like dam, lucky Paisano driving/ racing super cars!
hector380GT that’s awesome.
What a great story which reminds me of a friend who was about 15 years older than me. He had a small collection of cars including a white hardtop MGA twin cam and Porsche 914. He bought the MGA because he bought a new red convertible MGA twin cam when he qualified as an Architect. His one car regret was selling that car two years after he bought it. On his 50th birthday his wife gave him an MG key and told him to look outside. He was greeted by the sight of a red MGA. So he quickly dressed went down and was pleased to see it was a twin cam and amazed to see it had the same registration as the car he sold all those years ago. His wife had tracked down and bought the very car he regreted selling. Not a bad 50th birthday present.
Love Emile’s stories he’s such a great narrator. Can’t wait to hear and see part TWO! I got teary eyed listening to this one. So happy for him and really looking forward to seeing the next update.
I love Emiles excitement and enthusiasm. I can't wait to see the video of him driving the 2000GT, I think that video will be a tear jerker. I love hearing dad stories and Emile seems like an awesome guy.
*"Oh that $1M+ car? I have nine of 'em"*
Goals. Fuckin goals.
OMG BROTHER 🇵🇷 THIS IS ONE OF MOST EXCITING THINGS I HEARD IN THE CHANNEL . THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS VIDEO , I CANT WAIT TO SEE WHEN YOU MAKE THAT DREAM COME TRUE . QUE DIOS TE BENDIGA BORICUA 🏎💨🇵🇷!
These story's keep getting better and better!
VINwiki coming at us with the feelz lately.
Oh boy the notorious "red car brand" lol, I love this story!
What a beautiful story, I love car guy moments like this when people recollect and connect the dots of their family cars....sure I got the chills when he narrated....awesome guy and good story teller also
That a great story! Hits you in the feels. Everybody go hug your dad.
THIS is one of the best videos on this channel - wow - can’t wait for part 2 !!!! What an amazing story !!
*That story gave me goosebumps!*
WOW! this dude loves Toyota/Lexus more than I do. This is an amazing story. My favorite on this channel.
Emile, This is a cool story, Rewind circa August 1992... I was manager of a mid sized towing company in Hollywood FL. We towed for the local dealerships, a few shops and AAA. I spend the week before Hurricane Andrew going around So. Florida picking up vehicles for one of our awesome dealerships, to store away before the storm. During that time, a close friend of my dad's who also owned the local Toyota dealership asked us to come down and get a list of cars he needed moved, which I did. I moved 4 of his 2000 GT's back to the Toyota dealership's private storage vault, yes vault. Inside on blocks were 2 2000 GT race cars, plus as i added to the vault the others. This was the Private collection of James Moran who owns Southeast Toyota Distribution, World Omni Leasing, Southeast Toyota Motor Finance, and several dealerships. Mr. Moran left us a few years ago, but his legacy lives on.. Great memories never fade......... Bill - Atlanta, GA
Anybody else get chills right when he said “I’m getting chills right now just talking about it”
Never thought a VinWiki story could make me tear up.
Make it happen man.
I'm on the edge of my seat
We have to see Emile's reunion with the 2000GT. This is the best VINwiki story in a long time. Thank you so much for sharing.
That made me smile. It's a story that is very close to home for me. My grandfather had a 2000gt and it's the car that sparked my passion. Thank you for sharing this amazing story.
The emotions are so strong. I can't ever get enough of the stories of cars lost and found through families. Its incredible
This is my favourite Vinwiki story so far. Its amazing the connections you make if you drop your gaurd a little and chat with people.
This vid brought a smile to my face! The energy just projects off the TV screen with joy! Awesome story!
wonderful story, thanks for sharing Ed! Best of your videos yet IMHO.
One of the best VINWiki stories hands down.
best one ever, you can feel the passion in his voice and everything
So stoked for you Emile! Never met you but you seem like an awesome guy, and I'm glad you get to reconnect with a car you love so much.
HUGE fan of Emile's stories!! This one I think tops all of them though. It's just an amazingly cool story and I look forward to the update when he gets to drive the car that motivated his future in the automotive industry.
That's such a cool story. I think he should let you have that original plate---
Great story. You are lucky your dad snagged one as they are super rare, as you well know.
Anyone looking for the second chapter, the video has been up for about three years now. Its called ' Reunited with my dad's 2000GT 50 years later!'
Wow...chills and watery eyes from that story. Thank you so much.
This is a great story. Loving the channel Ed. Keep up the good work.
what if the dude just gives Emile the car. that would be absolutely insane lmao
Great story and I can not wait for the follow up. One of the best thanks for sharing!!
The 2000GT doesn't get enough love. Ever since I first saw one in person- the first time I'd even learned of what it was- I fell in love! It is by far the most beautiful car I've ever bore witness to. I was wondering why you never see them online and now I know it's because this dude has 9!! That's nuts lol but at I'm glad this story came from it.
This is my favorite story so far of vinwiki, it got my eyes teary. Can't wait to see what happens next!!!!
This wins the internet today and also the best VinWiki story to date.
This is the coolest Vinwiki story I have listened to, to date. Wow!!! I cannot wait for the follow up.

What a great story. One of the best and favorite. The story made me cry. I would like to see footage and pictures of you reunited with the car.
AWESOME story! Thanks for the content Ed!
Best Vinwiki story yet! That is such an awesome story. Damon from DDE gettin punched by a cop is 2nd best imo!
The car that got me started: 2003 Audi RS6. Since I was luckily enough to come across a good living; I now own a RS6, 2006 Audi A8L-W12, and a Audi A6-2.7t version. No matter what's your specific car of passion, enjoy this culture.
Awesome story Emile! I can't wait to see you driving the car!
Thanks Ed!
This one had me smiling the entire time. Chills, tears in the eyes, it brought all of the emotions out. Best VINwiki video yet!
That is such an amazing story ! Gave me goose bumps
