IMO Mohg was waaaaay harder than Melania if you don't use Mogh's shackle. But both are worthy of this list. Radahn is just on a whole nother' level than all, and definitely deserves number 1.
Even pro ER players said he needed fixed.. he was very problematic. Certainly not impossible, and many players even beat him hitless at rl1 pre-nerf, but the vast majority of experienced players agree the nerf was warranted. His hitboxes were catastrophic lol.
Darkeater Midir, Owl father, Fume Knight, Blue Smelter Demon, Demon of Hatred, Manus, Artorius, Lavos, Psycho Mantis, annihilation (remnant 2).. just to name a few! My hardest bosses for me (1) PC Radahn (2) Darkeater Midir (3) Demon Of Hatred ⬆️⬆️ Fuck those bosses!
7 out of 20 Fromsoft games; 35% of the list, (plus 1 Soulsborne game: Lies of P) 1. I hate boss nerfs & glad I got to fight them pre-nerf. 2. I love weapon/spell nerfs. 3. I think Geneichiro/Isshin was way harder than Consort Radahn and pre-nerf Melania was way harder than Consort.
I found the list fair, but the first place could be Diablo in Diablo III hardcore, before the nerf he was so difficult that only 4 players managed to defeat him. Radahn is just unfair, his moveset aren't that hard, what makes him hard to beat is the fact that he don't stop attacking, ALL other Bosses on the list have better moveset and mechanics
yellowbrow was cake and scorpionlord wasn't THAT bad. in comparison to a lot of bosses on this list. he was just a lot more aggressive than about 85% of the rest of wukong bosses, that's why he felt so crazy
While playing DS3 for the second time, I defeated sister friede on my first attempt in that playthrough. That fight is much more about strategy than skill, since you can easily stay away from her attacks
Oh, about every single time they decide to redo this video with no changes added. And sure they might change replace some bosses on the list, but it’s very noticeable that this list is just being repeated when certain bosses like Raven Beak keep getting on the list. And there are some bosses that should be on the list in place of Raven Beak like Prince Mush or Whacka from the Paper Mario Thousand Year Door Switch Remake.
@@TyrellMcK I wouldn’t think that will happen. Because Metroid Prime 4 Beyond is coming out next year, and we all know Sylux is going to be a hard fight, but if WatchMojo/MojoPlays makes a hardest bosses list and adds Raven Beak instead of adding Sylux, then I will question what their obsession with Raven Beak is.

Idk elden ring is hard & all but FATALIS I couldn’t beat alone. Personally I would put Fatalis over Consort. I can solo everything(no spirits) in Elden ring.
Demi Fiend is hart than you ranked. Winning relays on so much luck that Skill is only half of the deal. And there's an even (debatably) harder fight in Digital Devil Saga where the trend all started. This all confirms that every fight the Demi Fiend see is just another random encounter.
As a fun fact: I'm currently on a challenge: I've chosen 5 games that are known for their super hard bosses. Once I reach/unlock such a boss, I don't fight it, but leave it and wait for the "finals" Once I unlock all the bosses, I'll fight them all and see how hard they really are. Games I've chosen: - Cuphead: Main game completed, DLC bosses go to the finale - Guilty Gear Strive: Hard route completed, stage 9 Nagoriyuki will be challenged in the finale. - Eldan Ring: Currently in Nokron, Malenia and the DLC will be in the finale - Shin Megami Tensi V Vengence: 45 hours in. All 6 Super Bosses will be in the finale. - Thouhou Fantastic Danmaku Festival: 1CC on Easy, the extra stage with Scarlet Flaudre will be in the finale. I think Scarlet Flaudre will be the hardest, but time will show if I am righ.
@shino4019 Thanks for the recommendation. I might think about it after this challenge. The only Monster Hunter that I have played was Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on PSP, but I did not really liked it , so I don't know if I will like Iceborne. Is it similar to Freedom Unite? Should I give it a try?
@ I have no idea sadly since World was my first Monster Hunter game but I know a lot of Monster Hunter players that say World is a great game but a bad Monster Hunter so it seems to be different from the usual Monster Hunter games And in my opinion MHW is one of the greatest games ever, I can tell you as much that you cant expect more than an exploration and „boss rush“ game from it tho
@@shino4019 I think I will give it a shot, but after I finish those 5 games. As for Fatalis: I like to fight bosses "blind" and find my own way of beating them, so it will probably be solo (because I don't use summons), but as for equipement, I think I will just use what I will have. Also, I already have some other candidates to fight on my next challenge. I think about Elizabeth from Persona 3 Reload, Parace L'Shia from Arcane Hearts 3, and Laxasia from Lies of P (this game will probably get DLC by the time I start playing it, and who knows what Beasts they will add to it).
I actually just beat Balteus yesterday. Got him on my first try, actually. Was incredibly surprised when I killed it. Also killed the OG version of PC Radahn. He was hard as nails. Only boss I've ever fought that left me speechless with how quickly I died.
personally I find ishhin to be not as difficult as it is shown as he is very fun to parry and lightning reversal is honestly making the 3rd phase easier than genichiro he might be tough at first but in 10 attempts or so you can do it without a second thought also radhan at first is too real i beat him pre nerf he was annoying AS HELL and i was on ng+7 too
If you look closely, he went for one boss per game, otherwise the list would be 20 fromsoft bosses. He chosed Friede instead of him. I think Nameless, Gael, Friede and Midir are all on the same level difficulty wise. Elden Ring is the only one that had 2 because SotE is as big as another game
The worst part about the Absolute Radiance fight is that when you type in "Absolute Radiance" on UA-cam before or after you have finished the final Pantheon, and see people not lose a single mask shard to a modded version of the boss where you can't see anything but the lights and swords he throws while the player doesn't touch the ground due to the spawned spikes. Absolute Radiance is like a social experiment where gamers are testing human capabilities by releasing a more impossible version of the boss every couple months to see how much can we push are limitations
Laxasia was harder for me than some of those you listed between her and Malenia. This is a pretty objective list. I also felt Simon Manus and Nameless Puppet were harder than Laxasia but Manus specifically because of camera angles and excessive AOE attacks.
Turkey leg made radahn pretty manageable.. Lightning flask bare him easy.. Took me 6-7 hours and 5 larval tears the first kill on him. all i had to do after learning his moves was not summon both the npc's, his fucking health and stagger resistance and dmg tripled, was a great katana with cold infusion first kill. god i loved that fight, like Malenia the first time..
Fatalis is on the top for me. I have never beaten him solo and I still struggle with 4 top tier hunters. Pre patch Consort Radahn was a cake walk compared to Fatalis. Compared to other souls bosses, he's at the top for sure though
Galdera from Octopath Traveler is borderline unfair, as well as the Timewyrm from Dragon Quest 11S. They're probably the most insane secret bosses in turn-based RPGs that you could encounter
Ninja Gaiden boss fights (1 and 2 y ps3 and 360 versions) are much more difficult and infuriating than many on the list. My god, Alma second version is a pain in the ass, it should be at least in top 5/3 imo. I beat some FS games and I loved them so much, but Ninja Gaiden games (in this case the modern ones) are much more difficult in every aspect compared to the Miyazaki's games imo.
I never played any from software games, but I played the original two ninja gaiden games for the Xbox and 360, they had some hard ass fights, Alma made me wanna quit, now I'm having the same issue with God of war Valkyries
Yes they are one of those news outlet bro... You can't make a top 20 and not have any boss from black myth Wukong, that's blasphemy. You can try but can't silence the game because a DLC is coming soon
The last boss in Nine Sols for the true ending is my top3. It took 5 hours to beat it, while Malenia and Rahdan DLC took 6 hours each. Haven't played Bloodborne. Isshin took like 1-1.5 hours to beat
Fatalis should be in the top 3 at least. Most other bosses above him can be cheesed and trivialized (*cough* soulsborne) whereas he can't be and Fatalis is a fight that'll last several times longer so not only is about skill but about stamina especially if you lose through timeout
And Iceborne Fatalis isn't even close to the top 10 of the franchise in terms of difficulty. Other Monhun monsters make him seem like a baby in comparison. So, if this list was actually researched properly, it would all be monster hunter
Maneaters are my hardest boss in Demons Souls as well because screw fighting 2 bosses at once. Also for Cuphead I would say Wally Warbles on expert is the hardest in that game.
In 20 years from now, My game will include the hardest boss of all time with each run being different, 150 different movesets to learn, immune to everything, and can be very unpredictable
Heroic: Ragnaros and The Lich King were way harder than C'Thun. Ragnaros has to have a mechanic completely reworked along with a number of nerfs to be killed, and The Lich King required a 5% buff that didn't come for a long time to be killed.
I am disappointed that these bosses were not in the list. Ares (Very Hard - God mode): God of War Sisters of Fate (Very Hard - Titan mode): God of War 2 Sindragosa 25HC: World of Warcraft WotLK
Probably missed as the game is quite niche in the west exactly due to difficulty, I'd advise to check Lost Ark's Thaemine Gate 4 "The First" and Brelshaza gates 5-6 Inferno/Hell Mode.
Since Armored Core was mentioned, I'd like to mention Zinaida from Armored Core Last Raven. This final boss fight (out of 6 possible final bosses by the way) is rather infamous from that game.
If you look closely, he went for one boss per game, otherwise the list would be 20 fromsoft bosses. He chosed Ishin instead of those. Demon of Hatred is on the same level as Ishin IMO. Elden Ring is the only one that had 2 because SotE is as big as another game
Malenia pissed me off…but Radahn straight up made me question my life choices and sanity…He haunted my sleep, my thoughts because i couldn’t beat him and it took me a week of consistent attempts to beat him and boy oh boy did it feel good….
I know that the game I'm gonna say is extremely new as it came out on the 11th of October whilst it came out 3 days before that day for owners of the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions but I'm surprised you didn't include Vegeta/Great Ape Vegeta from Sparking! ZERO on the list as my god is he difficult to defeat as it feels like a Souls type boss with how hard he hits that it'll take so many retries to defeat him that the only resort you can do is just spam the hell outta him just to beat him, i mean all the bosses are hard but Vegeta and his Great Ape form had the Internet talking, i.e the part of the Internet that likes Dragon Ball

@@andrewkautzman6481 ya i actually got that boss fight of how i beat it on my channel, but ofc i had to trim it down since it was like 4hrs😅😅
@@andrewkautzman6481so you cannot cheese bosses in ER or Souls games or what ?
I genuinely beat him after 2/3 times? Didn’t think he was tough at all
IMO Mohg was waaaaay harder than Melania if you don't use Mogh's shackle. But both are worthy of this list. Radahn is just on a whole nother' level than all, and definitely deserves number 1.
Wow a good watch mojo game list!
Nerfing Consort Radahn was a bit silly.
Unfortunately that's what happens when enough people cry.
Nah. He was way overtuned
Especially his cross slash
With that being said he is by no means a pushover
@sunpraiser3188 Attacks only hurt if they hit you...
Even pro ER players said he needed fixed.. he was very problematic. Certainly not impossible, and many players even beat him hitless at rl1 pre-nerf, but the vast majority of experienced players agree the nerf was warranted. His hitboxes were catastrophic lol.
@sortalovesgoats Then they only said it for new players' sakes.
Darkeater Midir, Owl father, Fume Knight, Blue Smelter Demon, Demon of Hatred, Manus, Artorius, Lavos, Psycho Mantis, annihilation (remnant 2).. just to name a few!
My hardest bosses for me
(1) PC Radahn
(2) Darkeater Midir
(3) Demon Of Hatred
⬆️⬆️ Fuck those bosses!
Black Myth Wukong has a few bosses that should be on this list….Erlang …the yellow brow …Scorpion lord
yellowbrow was cake and scorpionlord wasn't THAT bad. in comparison to a lot of bosses on this list. he was just a lot more aggressive than about 85% of the rest of wukong bosses, that's why he felt so crazy
Yozora stealing my kupo coin literally brought me to tears of frustration and anguish! But the Lingering Will broke me when I was younger....💛🗝
morgan freeman south park
While playing DS3 for the second time, I defeated sister friede on my first attempt in that playthrough. That fight is much more about strategy than skill, since you can easily stay away from her attacks
Finally someone mentioning fatalis
Alma from Ninja Gaiden had me and my brothers crying for months lol
How many times are we going to keep getting “top hardest video game bosses”video?
Oh, about every single time they decide to redo this video with no changes added. And sure they might change replace some bosses on the list, but it’s very noticeable that this list is just being repeated when certain bosses like Raven Beak keep getting on the list. And there are some bosses that should be on the list in place of Raven Beak like Prince Mush or Whacka from the Paper Mario Thousand Year Door Switch Remake.
Until you are 90.
@@spartasama3214 By that point, this channel will probably stop getting uploaded.
New games come out annually, so it'll always change.

I’m one of the pro gamers that beat pre-nerf Radahn. I’m so glad you asked.
Yeah, Isshin is the reason I have beaten Sekiro (and likely never will). I managed to eventually stumble/brute force my way through every previous skill check but I just couldn't come anywhere close to winning that battle.

I am SO glad Alma from ninja was on this list. I tried for so long on the hardest difficulty and it's unfortunately the only game I haven't beaten.
As a fun fact: I'm currently on a challenge:
I've chosen 5 games that are known for their super hard bosses.
Once I reach/unlock such a boss, I don't fight it, but leave it and wait for the "finals"
Once I unlock all the bosses, I'll fight them all and see how hard they really are.
Games I've chosen:
- Cuphead: Main game completed, DLC bosses go to the finale
- Guilty Gear Strive: Hard route completed, stage 9 Nagoriyuki will be challenged in the finale.
- Eldan Ring: Currently in Nokron, Malenia and the DLC will be in the finale
- Shin Megami Tensi V Vengence: 45 hours in.
Try Fatalis from Iceborne solo with pre-Fatalis gear and without heavy artillery, probably impossible lmao
@shino4019 Thanks for the recommendation.
I might think about it after this challenge.
The only Monster Hunter that I have played was Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on PSP, but I did not really liked it , so I don't know if I will like Iceborne.
Is it similar to Freedom Unite? Should I give it a try?
@ I have no idea sadly since World was my first Monster Hunter game but I know a lot of Monster Hunter players that say World is a great game but a bad Monster Hunter so it seems to be different from the usual Monster Hunter games
And in my opinion MHW is one of the greatest games ever, I can tell you as much that you cant expect more than an exploration and „boss rush“ game from it tho
Only boss I've ever fought that left me speechless with how quickly I died.
personally I find ishhin to be not as difficult as it is shown as
he is very fun to parry and lightning reversal is honestly making the 3rd phase easier than genichiro
he might be tough at first but in 10 attempts or so you can do it without a second thought
also radhan at first is too real
i beat him pre nerf he was annoying AS HELL
and i was on ng+7 too
beat pre-nerf Radahn after 3 days of struggling. Claws of night was my weapon of choice, and boy...the feeling for beating him was out of this world!
No Nameless King? Kos, Consort Rahdan and the King are toughest SoulsBourne games for me.
Pre-nerf Radahn on ng+6 week 1 nearly gave me a stroke, but might be my proudest gaming accomplishment yet
this video totally missed Stellar Blade & Wukong two bosses !
I'm an introvert so it really gives me some confidence knowing that I defeated one of the top 3 hardest bosses in the videogame history
It's so satisfying when you know you beat one of the high rankers in this list
mine was isshin the sword saint💪😎
When I finally managed to kill Isshin, I felt like I could just play everything else on easy mode. I have nothing left to prove now! lol
I would put The Rat from Enter the gungeon above the robot from cuphead forsure
Laxasia was harder for me than some of those you listed between her and Malenia. This is a pretty objective list. I also felt Simon Manus and Nameless Puppet were harder than Laxasia but Manus specifically because of camera angles and excessive AOE attacks.
If you thought sans was hard, you should try some touhou bosses on lunatic difficulty
🎃🎃🎃
You’ve inspired me to revisit some classic NES spooky titles and make a list of my own for HALLOWEEN
❤❤❤👻👻👻
Sister Friede and Father Ariandel were nightmares
When I first got to Sister Friede when the DLC came out, it took me several hours over the span of 3 days to beat her
Feel like Erlang should be here, most people had to use the wind fan to beat him
Such a proud moment for me. I beat Radahn before the nerf. Now I feel beating Radahn was the best accomplishment of my life lol 😭
Isshin sword saint has been dethroned as the toughest boss. 😢 I'm proud to say I've beat the old man more than once!😂
I still think he's the toughest because no summons or shield poke cheese with him.
Jokes aside, but the hardest boss to ever exist in gaming history is definitely mist noble.
Whoever that was playing God of War coulda pressed square.
If you considered more niche indie games this list would be so different
Turkey leg made radahn pretty manageable.. Lightning flask bare him easy..
Took me 6-7 hours and 5 larval tears the first kill on him. all i had to do after learning his moves was not summon both the npc's, his fucking health and stagger resistance and dmg tripled, was a great katana with cold infusion first kill. god i loved that fight, like Malenia the first time..
Surprised orn and smough weren't here. Even for a mid game boss, they wrecked me (and a TON of other people too)
Fatalis is on the top for me.
I really think you choosed the most easy boss of Lies of P... the other bosses gave me a hard time but this one was easy one ... :D
Armored core 6 is one of my favorite games! The all mind boss took me a week to beat but it was worth it!
Where is Erlang? Did WatchMkojo forget or are they one of those news outlet?
Yes they are one of those news outlet bro... You can't make a top 20 and not have any boss from black myth Wukong, that's blasphemy.
You can try but can't silence the game because a DLC is coming soon
Raven beak is hard but it's the most fun I had fighting a boss. Also, the belfry gargoyles from Dark souls 2 was very hard.
Fatalis: *Exist*
White Fatalis: "And I took that Personally"
The last boss in Nine Sols for the true ending is my top3. It took 5 hours to beat it, while Malenia and Rahdan DLC took 6 hours each. Haven't played Bloodborne. Isshin took like 1-1.5 hours to beat
Of these, I beat Ballos in the Switch port of Cave Story. How I got through that without tearing my hair out, I'll never know.
Beating Pre-Nerf Redahn is the most impressive achievement of my life. My children agree with me on this.
In 20 years from now, My game will include the hardest boss of all time with each run being different, 150 different movesets to learn, immune to everything, and can be very unpredictable
how many times are yall gonna cover this topic
Heroic: Ragnaros and The Lich King were way harder than C'Thun. Ragnaros has to have a mechanic completely reworked along with a number of nerfs to be killed, and The Lich King required a 5% buff that didn't come for a long time to be killed.
It's insane that we're talking about hardest bosses of the century and not a single lunatic difficulty touhou boss fight is on this list.
I am disappointed that these bosses were not in the list.
Ares (Very Hard - God mode): God of War
Sisters of Fate (Very Hard - Titan mode): God of War 2
Sindragosa 25HC: World of Warcraft WotLK
Probably missed as the game is quite niche in the west exactly due to difficulty, I'd advise to check Lost Ark's Thaemine Gate 4 "The First" and Brelshaza gates 5-6 Inferno/Hell Mode.
Beat pre-nerf Radahn in 2 hours, solo. Amazing fight.
Since Armored Core was mentioned, I'd like to mention Zinaida from Armored Core Last Raven. This final boss fight (out of 6 possible final bosses by the way) is rather infamous from that game.
A bit crazy that Demon Of Hatred from Sekiro was not mentioned as well as either Father Owl or Genichiro himself.
If you look closely, he went for one boss per game, otherwise the list would be 20 fromsoft bosses. He chosed Ishin instead of those. Demon of Hatred is on the same level as Ishin IMO. Elden Ring is the only one that had 2 because SotE is as big as another game
@@uafc1 Fair point!
Bhunivelze+ from Lightning Returns is one hell of a fight. Likely one the most satisfying ever too.
I beat Lightning Returns and got the secret ending but I never tried that boss. I want to see that fight now. :D
Amigdal from bloodborn the one in the cursed dungeon surprisingly gave me a rough time considering the story version was so ez 😅
Malenia pissed me off…but Radahn straight up made me question my life choices and sanity…He haunted my sleep, my thoughts because i couldn’t beat him and it took me a week of consistent attempts to beat him and boy oh boy did it feel good….
I heard the Steam screenshot sound in the beginning of the video!
The one guy:”all these bosses are easy” :the nameless deity💀
