Incredible timing in the subject matter. I love your tutorials. Bethany, I’m not as computer literate as you. I don’t need you to elaborate more, you’re wonderful with explanations, but you talk and move very fast. It’s rare that I can zero in on the point of interest before you’re off to the next point. It’s likely age-related but I hate missing the point on content because of this difficulty. Even pausing isn’t sufficient in many cases because the flash jumps are so small they don’t make sense in one second clips. Regardless, I do enjoy you and your contagious enthusiasm. You’ve taught me so much. Today I learned what A+ content is, though I wont be able to make something like this, I can play around with it. Thanks!
Hi Bethany - thanks for this tutorial, it was terrific. Your final product looked amazing! I would say though, Amazon has a rule against using regular reviews from readers on A+ content, so people should probably be careful there. They can use a review if it's from a prominent person, but not just a rave review from a fan. Just wanted to let you know - which, by now, I'm sure you're aware since this video was made a year ago. Anyway - thanks for all of your helpful videos. Your content is really great! 😊
I didn't know you could makes those! That looks so good! I've played around with Canva before, but I've never made anything I thought was marketing worthy.
Your timing on this is phenomenal (and a bit frightening) because I was just working on my A+ this morning after having seen a video that mentioned it a few days ago . . . and I needed a break. I love Canva and use it all the time. Thank you so much for all your content! I look forward to your videos every week. Once I discovered your channel a few months ago, I started binge-watching everything you've made. You are truly inspiring and a joy to spend virtual time with. Best wishes to your and your beautiful family!
Great tutorial video. I never made any A + Content, but I think I'm gonna try to create an author header and 3 modules for my debut novel. Thanks for sharing! 🦋👍
HONESTLY I was searching your channel last week for this video lol. I love the way you teach it is like talking to a friend lol. I am glad I watched I was wondering how to do the split image . I used a wide and three small for my 3 book series. I love it and plan to add the content to all of my books .
I did NOT know you could customize the size on Canva! 🤦♀️ thank you so much for this video!! You do the experimenting and we get to benefit from your hard work! Haha definitely saving this video for the future when I get to this stage 😊
Awesome. Way to show us the messy process (good on you for catching that typo! I've missed things like that before). :) Connection is better than perfection!
Hi Bethany, appreciate for your video, I have a question? I used your suggestion template 1940-1800 to create images ,then I used 1800 and 610 px images for A+content with 3 splited images, but after uploaded the images to Amazon A+, in preview and before submit it, it looks not good , do you have any idea for better image size? do you have any experience witch size better works? Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it! I think I also tried the 610 possibility, and it wasn't perfect either, so I ended up just slightly resizing the photos to match within canva, and that worked out just fine.
Hi. Is there anywhere we can download the formatting template that used to be on the DIY site you linked in a previous video? I want to follow your multi video formatting guide but need that template to use as a base for it but that site doesn't link to it anymore.
I just checked my link, and it works fine. You have to sign up for his mailing list to receive the download. He's giving something very valuable away for free, in exchange for a newsletter sign up, which is a very common thing for authors to do. If you want it, you have to sign up.
@@BethanyAtazadeh Yes, I accepted to sign up for his newsletter. But when I clicked on the very large 'DOWNLOAD' button on the page, it took me to some product for sale. I just tried it again and it worked this time. Look forward to following your guides as I format my book. Thanks.
too bad the amazon A+ software is buggy as hell consistently returns server null error and eats your ASINs oh and no button for contact amazon or provide feedback amateurish amazon makes me rethinking my all in strategy for going wide instead. never had such a problem with e.g. google.
@@BethanyAtazadeh What you have now is allowed. You talked about doing customer review quotes in the video. I know other authors have used them, but I just wanted to let you know about the guidelines.
No, I haven't seen any emails. Please only email if it's a business inquiry, I'm not able to help anyone with writing or publishing or read anyone's books at this time.
@@BethanyAtazadeh Hi thanks for the response... I'm not looking for any Collab or review ....and it's not a business request.... I replied to the newsletter.... In hopes that it wouldn't get lost in all the fan mail.... It's just a simple question from your fans in Texas...

I learned about A+ content even existing yesterday on a BookBrush tutorial. Exciting to see Bethany go through the process!

I've seen this on other author's page but had no idea what it was or how to create it. I'll definitely give this a try.
Haha same here! I was like, how the heck did they do that? And then I discovered this and was so excited!

Yay thanks Katie! It was super fun (and I was the same way, I had no idea how people were creating them haha)
I just completed A+ Content for the first time. Let’s see it it receives the 10% conversion rate Amazon says.
Thanks. I would probably use Canva frames...

Thank you so much for doing this. When I get my book covers redone someone told me I should do this so now I have at least something to go off of
Absolutely! So glad you enjoyed it and that you might give it a try!
Oh wow, another totally cool vid.
Glad you liked it!
This video was so helpful. Thanks a lot!!💖
Yay! I'm so happy to hear that!
Can you make trailers for books using canva? Also how do get you content noticed on Amazon when there so many of the same.
(1) probably! (2) by marketing outside of Amazon or with Amazon ads!
This was so helpful! I enjoyed that you took us through the journey. Feels very real and personal.
Thank you so much! I'm so happy you liked it!
Can I use another software like, Krita, and just cut the image into three slices?
Thank you
Do you have a video on to make UA-cam banners? Strangely I can't seem to make size that will fit.
I don't, but search Vanessa Lau + youtube banners, I think that's where I learned how to make mine! :)
Wow, I like this; thank you
So glad you enjoyed it!

Good day. This was so informative. Were you able to find out what the best sizing for the images were?

amateurish amazon makes me rethinking my all in strategy for going wide instead. never had such a problem with e.g. google.
Is this supposed to be ads that will pop up in places?
Nope! This is content that appears below the book on its Amazon page, as you can see in the beginning of the video
To let you know - the guidelines for A+ says you can't use customer reviews on there. Just a heads-up.
I didn't! They're quotes from fellow authors, and the content has been approved and is on the amazon page ;)
