Man, this one hit me in the feels. Michigan fights you to the death knowing you're his enemy, but he still has so much respect for you. Wallclimber. Wormkiller. You have titles from this guy. He knows how much you are worth. And still, he steps into his AC to fight you because he knows that it has to be done. That he's probably not going to live to see the end of the day. Of all the missions... this hit me the /second/ hardest. Second only to Rusty himself.

Very nice piloting! Most of the S rank runs I see for this mission are with heavy builds... It's great to see some lightweight builds kicking butt! I just joined you recently with my own S rank run video using a lightweight type as well 😊 - tickled Michigan with low dmg ludlows lol - great fun!

I find that the larger coral generator works really well for this mission, amongst others, given how often you need to AB/QB. The instant 75% energy refund after depletion is really handy. Even the heavy part weight is manageable.
The Alula I think it's called? Yeah a lot of people seem to like that one in general. Guess it's more of a matter of preference and dependant on build or playstyle. I tried swapping out my generator a few times throughout the game but always fall back to the Ming Tang. Feel perfectly in tune with that one in my setup. On some rare occasions I swapped to the V20S but I have to play more conservative with that one.
@ZikosRealm The Aorta, yeah. The heavier one. I had to use it for one build I was using for a bit and I fell in love. It definitely is a playstyle thing, you're right. It allows for different movement styles to become more or less optimal. A nuanced system.
Also it makes my exhaust and assault armour red! The red ones go faster.

I see that you have done some S Rank mission, and its very impressive. Personally i feel mission are way harder to get S Rank compare to Boss fight. Good job bro.
Heey Vince. Yeah I think the missions with a big boss fight at the end are a bit more foregiving by design. Short missions have a low base payout so there's less room for mistakes. Cool thanks man, I guess playing this game just clicked with me pretty fast.

The mission was hard to beat the first time, took like 20 attempts.
Though by the time I got around to S ranking it, got it my first try.
Unfortunate misses of the Assault Armor against Michigan.
Yeah this was probably the toughest mission so far but it was a lot of fun. Got me hooked on replaying it a couple of times before moving on. Thanks.

Yeah no problem. Forgot to slap on a clip of my build at the end. I was running Nachtreiher's Head & Torso and Firmeza's Arms & legs with the Kikaku booster, Abbot FCS and the Ming Tang generator. But at the moment I'm running Tian Qiang head and Firmeza's body instead.

i just take a heavy ac with dual shotgun and fly kick everyone with speed and that work well must be a s rank for the timer because i take every bullets in the face
Yeah I also got an S when I finished it about a minute and a half faster while taking a lot of damage. Not exactly sure how time is accounted for when the ranks are calculated though.
How is the ammo cost so low with so many missiles used? Mine skyrokets to 70k with almost the same build
No clue about that really. I S ranked it a couple of times in a row with this build, using similar strategies and ammo counts.
How is that even possible? This is really really difficult. I tried using a tank loadout with dual mini guns and dual stick needle but only got a C rank.
I've been using this build, with minor variations, throughout the whole game, so i'm pretty comfortable and in tune with my setup.

There could be some better parts available to unlock later on in the game and you might want to swap some stuff around due to personal preference, but this is what I was rolling with at this point. ✌
