    I love this song, haven’t listened to it for many a day.
    In memory of Chris on his birthday it would be rude to not learn it.
    I never knew Chris and Stone shared the same birthday.

    Out of the many lessons online yours is by far the best and easiest to watch as you learn without having to rewind and replay 10xs. You just have a flow thats not too fast or too slow.

    Very cool of you Ryan. I love your lessons, you have a great sense of humour and attitude. Love your taste in music as well. I have learned some great songs because of your lessons. I'm a 44 year old female/2 kids/classically trained pianist/graphic designer and started teaching myself guitar last year. i LOVE you and marty. you've helped me out so much in the past year, you have no idea. it's so fun to learn a grunge song, and then run to my husband to show him "what i did" :) thanks for everything (fellow yinzer)

    I love Temple of the Dog, so many great songs that the relevant writer used later with their respective band, awesome. This is definitely one of my favourites, thanks Ryan! I know you have done the piano part but could you do the guitar line for “Times of Trouble” (Footsteps) please?

    I've literally only had one guitar lesson. But I love this song and was just watching some live versions of this and stumbled over this video. Saved for later! Haha.
    But I learnt 2 whole chords. One was A Minor. When I strummed it, I immediately thought it was the first chord in this song! I was right!! Proud of my little self. 😁

      Most Cornell’s songs use Am chord, check out his other songs, unfortunately the f..n F chord is everywhere also as most of his songs are in C major or A minor key, which are the same thing and have the following chords C, Dm, Em, F, G, Am, Bdim

      thanks Lucas! Nope, because then I'd have to actually be able to do it. at 1,100 songs over 5 years I don't spend enough time with any one song to get it that far into my bones

    Revisiting this video as my wife really wants me to play this. On the original recording, what key were there guitar fills in? I know relative major would be C, but I'm not sure that sounds right. Are they just noodling in A minor pentatonic?
