You know, although its usless having a king in this day in age, i think its cool we get to be part of history being played out in front of our eyes in real time. I mean, we watch movies about it but this is acutal reality..kinda cool. Im actually glad they still keep the royality around.
How is it useless? The monarch represents the shared history, present and future of a people, this ensures the stability of a nation despite economic turmoil and ever-changing governments and politicians and is therefore of great importance

All I felt was anger at Diana for racing around with a dumb playboy who was actually engaged to someone else. She partied, raced around and was stupid. I was home with my little boys. If Diana had stayed at home with her boys.....she would still be alive.

Some people might question why he only asked William, and not Harry, to make that pledge. Harry is living in the United States with his American wife. If he should ever want to become a Naturalized American citizen at some point in the future then he cannot be swearing allegiance to any other country or King… and that includes his Dad. I’m sure that his Dad, King Charles III, knows this even if Harry doesn’t. That’s probably why he asked that just his heir apparent, Prince William, take that oath. Prince Harry has dropped down from number 2 to number 5 on the succession list… behind William and both of his children.
