Beginner's First KATO Railway - 3D Printed Diesel Loco Experiment!

- A deeper dive into 3D printing for N Gauge model railways, here's my first experiment in creating a loco body. I take no credit for the design as being new to this sort of thing I ended up using an established pattern in order to learn how to create a loco body that would fit onto the KATO 11-109 power chassis'. Hopefully, I could then learn how to design and print my own original designs in the future.
[Note: This is a one off learning model - is NOT for repeat production and is NOT for sale.] Credit for the original concept goes to Budget Model Railways UK who do have this design for sale here: www.budgetmodelrailways.co.uk...

Nicely done in small formfactor 😮❤
Lovely job
BTW: The downward end of the chevrons is supposed to indicate the side on which it is safe to pass.
This is great 👍
New MilgeekAchoo video!! I love the N scale videos so much. You deserve so many more followers and views! Your series on N scale is my favorite one I’ve found on all of UA-cam!
😂👍 I wish I could make them more regularly! Thanks so much for the kind feedback.
When I saw Sam's Trains resin locos, I ordered an Anycubic Mono 2. I am using FreeCAD gear plugin to design and try to make Mod 0.2 gears.
I could never do the miniscule stripe masking that you did. Just to small. Good video. Thanks for sharing.
I've got used to doing everything VERY slowly! 😉 Plus, with the magic of editing I perhaps made this look simple, believe me I let slip a few naughty words when doing this!!! 😂 Thanks for watching.
This is looking good. I've really been enjoying your N scale videos.
Thanks so much. It's a big learning experience for me...BUT lots of fun! Thanks for watching.
I'm right there with you. I'm still working on my first layout. You also inspired me to get a railroad crane for myself too
