Moath ibn jabal, please do not tell a lie against the prophet (SAW), the prophet adopted a son which he treated him like his own flesh and blood, go learn the history of sayid, Allah subhana wata, aalla later orders the prophet (SAW), that he should not call Sayid his son, this is the foundation in which we Muslims are never allowed to change the names of children, every child belong to their biological parents and this is a religious act which Islam protects,

Because slavery wasn't always considered always a morally evil institution until in the 16th or 17th century. Had you been born in that era, you would have been fine with slavery probably even yourself owning a few
This is the problem with thinking like this. You think just because we've removed the ownership aspect of slavery you've solved the issue. When in reality no one "owns" human beings anymore yet slavery is very much alive and well in the west.
Islam didn’t banish slavery, slavery is not something evil. If it was, our prophet wouldn’t have owned slaves. Islam gave slaves their rights and limited the ways in which a person becomes a slave. What Islam did is banish the Jahilliyah slavery which was similar to the American and European slave trade. This is the evil type of slavery.
A whole discussion to justify the subjugation of a human being . It does not matter it was in previous times or present, it is inhumane, by everyone involved in the act. The thing though, is that the book and doctrines that commanded slavery still exists and is still justified today. There has been no reformation of those ideologies as the book cannot be changed as it is supposedly the word of God and cannot be changed, as it is supposed again to be eternal. They are stuck with an ancient inhumane acts of control of people against their will. It is still happening today in the Muslim world in places like Sudan.

The guy just tries to get by with his preppy looks and his cinematic references. It doesn't work, eg trying to reframe the Arab slave trade in non-colour terms and yet there was the Zanj rebellion.
