Ok 8 months later, he’s about 10 months old. Idk if it’s just my dog but I’ve noticed some behavioral issues w my dog and I know that with doodle mixes, it’s super common to see. My only advice to people who plan on getting any kind of doodle mix is do your research first and do not support and give money to BYB. I love my dog so so much but I wish I knew about the cons of having a doodle mix first. 😁
@@random_alien0006 She is 8 months old and still barking, but only in the house. She's scared to bark back at the dogs in the neighborhood outside, but whenever she wants something in the house she barks, very LOUDLY!
I recently got out of the army and one of the first things I wanted to get is a dog. I found a liter of mini goldendoodle pups up for adoption and not only am I gonna get one in the next few days, my mom is going to also adopt her sister! Its going to be amazing having a home filled with family and new furry family members!
I recently got a golden doodle and it is one of the best decisions I've ever made. She is the perfect therapy dog. Super smart and has learned the house rules very fast. She is also learning commands really quick. She's been good with my bengal kitten as well. She rarely barks and loves being around people and other dogs. I've had other family dog breeds in the past but with this pup I couldn't be happier.
My girl is turning nine soon, as far as barking goes, she’s a happy and loud barker. If you look even a little like you might go out, she suspects a walk could happen and gets excited. I love her more and more as the years go by. Her manners are very good with people in public and when left alone in the house. I’ll take a bit of barking in exchange for all her cuddles and sweetness. ❤️🐕
We got ours about two months ago. I had never raised a puppy before, despite having dogs growing up. My specimen has demonstrated intelligence, kindness towards our cat and he is very loving and loyal. He is a joy to be around, highly recommend it.
Mine named maxiemae is the best dog I’ve ever met and everyone I’ve seen meet her agrees. Granted she was trained quite a bit as a puppy, She just has that golden retriever kindness and poodle intelligence that loves to cuddle,go for car rides, wait for you, has never chewed up anytning wasn’t supposed to, never accident in house, I’ve never seen her get angry in my life. I wake up to her at the foot of my bed almost every morning and she is a blessing.
My friend was dogsitting a goldendoodle and he was exactly as described. He was super gentle and friendly to literally everyone. He literally never barked at any one. If anyone has a fear of dogs he would be best to begin with. Golden doodle is like a golden retrierver without shedding.
I love Goldendoodles! I've had them almost all my life and have never regretted having them almost exclusively. They are just the sweetest dogs ever. Mine have always shed a little bit, but nothing like an ordinary golden retriever. Best dogs ever.
My wife and I got our Goldendoodle about 3 weeks ago. He is very intelligent, he knows sit, paw and lay. Still working on stay and leave it. He is loveable but mischievous like any puppy. But I wouldn't trade my Teddy Graham for the world.
We adopted a gd as a companion for our 2 older dogs 3year old poodleshitzu and pom shitzu . We had problems in the beginning because the pom mix is only 7lbs. The new one was a little bigger as a 2 mo puppy. She wanted to treat the older one as a puppy. And was a bit rough with her, now she plays with her much more gently, she is at 6 Mos nearly 14 lbs and quite long legged like a greyhound. When she play fights with the little one she let's her win. She still has good fights with the poodle guy who is 14 lbs but much shorter than she, but no one gets hurt and they seem to enjoy it. I think the extra energy she has is really good for them, they were losing their puppy playfulness, but are getting it back.
I just got Lulu's ashes back yesterday. She lived to be 15 & was the sweetest fuzzy b you could have. She potty trained in a week! She learned sit & down, roll over, up & twirl (so cute) She loved to catch tennis balls in her mouth, not the dog ones, those never last, the real tennis balls. She would make up games for us, keep away (with her toys), & race to the corner of the couch 😂 I don't know why, but, she just came up with this game & when she got to the corner of the couch, she would like LEAP to it and spin back and look at you like "I won!" She loved the dog park & going out on the boat with us. She would watch TV and if a dog was on and looked anything aggressive, she would be sure to protect us, by getting up and barking at it, I was scared a couple times she was going to knock over my tv lol (only if the dog was like running toward the screen aggressively, she would like run toward it as if to stop them lol. Funny thing is, a Maltese at the dog park scared her once and she was all tucked behind my legs 😂She is missed. I am so happy I got to have her with me as long as I did though. If you're thinking about getting a Goldendoodle, you won't be disappointed, they really are so great.
I just got my golden doodle puppy a few weeks ago and seeing this made me happy and sad and hope my Dino can have as much as a fulfilled life as Lulu did!

We love our puppy! The goldendoodle is an awesome dog to have cute and lovable. He certainly could bark like all other dogs but they are definitely one of my favorite breeds I can't think of one bad thing about our dog. He makes a great addition to our family
This dog breed is quite expensive but worth it. My guy has gotten me through some of the hardest moments in my life, this dog breed is emotionally intelligent. I go to him for cuddles sometimes but most of the time he comes to me. What can I say, there’s barely any fur unless its shedding season, SUPER easy to train, they LOVE kids (and babies), he’s a “guard” dog but he just barks when he doesn’t recognize the people around the house.
I’d be nice to have one but I know that I wouldn’t be able to give it enough exercise. That’s why I’m wanting a cavapoo cause it doesn’t require as much exercise 🦋 Can’t wait!!! 😜
I've been begging my mom for 8 years since I was four. every time I ask she says no until recently she said maybe so wrote a 2 page explanation on why I should be able to get a dog a few weeks later I asked her what the chances are of me getting a dog are she said 50/50 so I asked her how I can raise my chances she said do some research so that's what I'm doing right now
We are getting our doodle around this Christmas! W have two bunnies and are hoping to raise the puppy with them- we went with a golden because of their gentle and friendly nature towards other animals!
I have 2 golden doodle puppy's. My baby girl is a 9year old big baby named millie, And my baby boy is one years old and he is named maxiii and also maxiii is a miniture and millie is large
Leave music on when ever you are gone and your dog is alone. It makes a difference. I keep music on quieter even when home. My goldendoodle is my service dog. He's a very happy dog! Never feeling lonely, I have 2 cats for him to sleep with.
I have a golden doodle with color of chocolate 🍫 fur. She’s so smart, doesn’t bark much, but she is a bit of a golden retriever when she goes into protective mode for the house.
I have a golden doodle, she is very friendly to people, but not friendly with dogs she is unfamiliar with! She has a few dog friends for example my neighbors dog, but is quite aggressive towards any dog new to her!
We recently adopted a golden doodle, he is 7 months old and over 45 lbs. He is adorable when it's just one on one but when the family is together in our house, he is constantly biting the kids age 7 and 16. He bites us often and I can't figure out why? Or how to stop the biting? Especially my 7 year old who has special needs. I find this bread of dog to be needy and stubborn to train. He is very hard to walk with pulling on the leash, jumping on people, and biting his leash to get it out of our hands. This dog not at all how people describe them. I can't trust him around kids. When he went to the vet she offered to help us find him a new home bc he is so out of control. He has been in our family for 3 weeks.
How is it going now? They usually bite a lot at that stage but then grow out of it by oneish year old. And just need to be trained. You might try getting a prong collar just for walks in beginning to make sure he doesn't jump on people and learns walking etiquette. It offers a slight correction without hurting them until they get the hang of it. I have a bernedooldle and he was a little shark lol and very bad leash manners when he was young but now he is the best dog
@@personanon2879 I don't know about there but the shelters are empty. All dogs have been adopted from them. I get what you're saying but some people don't have that option right now
I'm planning on getting a dog in 2 years, thats when im finishing high school and can be home with the dog. Its a good thing i have to wait a while, gives me time to save money and decide if getting a dog is a good idea. I really want a dog i can bring with me to uni. I cant bring my cats because going back home to visit my family would be impossible. Good thing its very popular to have dogs at that uni, there is even a dog shower at the dorms. Maybe this is a dog i could get
I’m thinking of getting one but I have a few other breeds in mind.. anyone on here who has/had one can you give me you opinion on barking with this breed x
DO NOT forget expenses for grooming...that would be way over 1k per year...also time briushing and bathing at home would be a big time investment...but they are awesome dogs
Hi! I live in San Antonio, Texas and I want to get my beautiful golden doodle but I don't know how to find one here. I want the mini one, a female, and the one who looks like a real teddy bear. Any suggestions will be really appreciated!! I just don't want to get in to a scam or something like that. Thank you in advance!!
Does anyone know if they can be left alone?? I work full time and my partner works from home 3 days a week. Those other 2 days we hope to have a family member pop in to feed and play with them but I’m not sure about the 4 hours before and after! Im a Speech and Language Therapist and would love to train my future pup to be a therapy dog 🥺
They will get separation anxiety. I would get 2 so they can keep each other company....(if you can afford, have space & time) they do need exercise...like everyday walks or playing fetch.
They are prone to getting separation anxiety. Me and my wife's previous goldendoodle (RIP Toby) would often tear apart his own bed or cry relentlessly if we weren't home we actually had police called on us because we were in an apartment and he was disrupting the neighbors thankfully my wife was able to bring him into her new job. He was a tremendous dog however despite this so loving and caring he was our best friend. It definitely sounds possible however in your situation it would just take some coordinating between you and your partner and somebody when you both aren't home just for the earlier months until they can hold their bladder long enough, but all in all it sounds doable. Crate training helps alot I'd recommend working on it early on so that when he's old enough he can stay in tbe crate wile you both are out of the house. We are working on this with our current golden doodle puppy and he seems to be less anxious than our previous dog. A dog is alot of sacrifice you will have alot less free time almost like a baby but they are definitely worth the effort make sure you do tremendous amount of research prior to purchase. Alot of people get the "puppy blues" I never got it nor my wife thank God but some people aprox. 50% do I suggest watching some of the videos about this just in case so you can be prepared of it does happen.

He's usually pretty quiet and has an amazing temperament. But he's not a cuddler at all. The most he'll do is sit next to you and thats it. He values his personal space. So much so the vet we take him to recommends not to neuter him. However he does get pretty growly towards two dogs in the neighborhood, and he acts kinda aggressive around cats. He's also a very spoiled boy. We have a blanket on the couch laid out for him at all times, but there will be times when he hesitates to get up. Thats his way for him telling us he needs the blanket rearranged to sit on it. And if he thinks he's getting medicine, he is OUT of the dog door and will just stand there. We love our puppy! The goldendoodle is an awesome dog to have cute and lovable. He certainly could bark like all other dogs but they are definitely one of my favorite breeds I can't think of one bad thing about our dog. He makes a great addition to our family
They are just the best! We love our doodles!
Tough grooming - my curly guy needs constant brushing! He’s awesome and a real character!
I’d be nice to have one but I know that I wouldn’t be able to give it enough exercise. That’s why I’m wanting a cavapoo cause it doesn’t require as much exercise 🦋
Can’t wait!!! 😜
I’m picking mine up Next Saturday for a Christmas present 😀
I'm getting one tomarrow!! yay
Pet say one last weekend and fell in love. Can’t wait to get one!

Leave music on when ever you are gone and your dog is alone. It makes a difference. I keep music on quieter even when home. My goldendoodle is my service dog. He's a very happy dog! Never feeling lonely, I have 2 cats for him to sleep with.

Congratz! we get our puppy in a week, exciting!
I,m going to get my New Fur Baby Golden Doodle this month an i cannot wait i,m getting a female
My previous goldendoodle (RIP) was the same a real people pleaser he loved anybody and everybody. But hated other dogs.
“Dog is loving and careful and energetic” mines energetic all right but he scratches me and goes near the road sometimes but he’s still really cute
So you guys my golden doddle(penny) when she was a puppy she had white paws and a linen colored furr
Do doodles come in moyen or small standard like poodles?
Yes they do
Mutts dont have standard sizes.
We are swarming for a mini golden doodle and live in Houston Texas
Let me just ask you a question I was going to get a bichonpoo are those good dogs or the golden doodles are better
I think,( it's just my opinion) that goldendoodle are better
Either is a mutt.. The genetics are a random crapshot.
Whichever one you get from a shelter or rescue is whats best
@@personanon2879 I don't know about there but the shelters are empty. All dogs have been adopted from them. I get what you're saying but some people don't have that option right now
@@willowtreeyoga1592 I have 3 puppies left for sale, ready to go between Christmas and New Year's
Ahhhhhh!! Too cute 😂
Maybe this is a dog i could get
You should check out a pet rhino
I’m thinking of getting one but I have a few other breeds in mind.. anyone on here who has/had one can you give me you opinion on barking with this breed x
Where could I buy a goldendoodle dog?
Our neighbor got one and he’s so cute he doesn’t even bark and he just walks right up to us
DO NOT forget expenses for grooming...that would be way over 1k per year...also time briushing and bathing at home would be a big time investment...but they are awesome dogs
'Golden doodles don't bark' my goldendoodle barks all the time!
Ia
I have a mini golden doodle. He never barks and when he rarely does I'm like wtf was that 😆
I just got a golden doodle puppy named chloe
My dogs name is penny and her middle name is cash and she is the color on linen
Great dogs high price grooming maintenance and brushing and they needs lots of walks other then that they are awesome and worth every penny
They are so cute I so want one
I have 3 for sale,
My dog is a dad to 11 double doodles ( 2 goldendoodles)
The Double Doodle is a hybrid combination of three breeds: Golden Retrievers, Poodles, and Labrador Retrievers
I got a golden doodle yesterday night,
And it's such hard work🥱
I need one
First bred in 1969, but first appeared in America in the early 1900s?????
@Maria Olvera Thank you so much
Go to a shelter or rescue and find an adult dog that is the size and coat type you desire.
Vet bills are $1000 per year?
Does anyone know if they can be left alone?? I work full time and my partner works from home 3 days a week. Those other 2 days we hope to have a family member pop in to feed and play with them but I’m not sure about the 4 hours before and after!
Im a Speech and Language Therapist and would love to train my future pup to be a therapy dog 🥺
They will get separation anxiety. I would get 2 so they can keep each other company....(if you can afford, have space & time) they do need exercise...like everyday walks or playing fetch.
@@tinaknutsen no they really won't
They are the bests
