Great tour, Frank. Now we know how a Canadian spends winter !
Haha yup... inside all winter... outside all summer! Thanks for watching.
I had stopped collecting CD's in my mid-20's and had about 250-300 for the longest time. In the last 5 years I rekindled my interest in buying them used from Value Village and I'm up to well over 1000. It's a good idea to keep them catalogued, especially if you're buying them regularly. I've come home a few times with duplicates. Discogs is great for most music media. I got my records, CD's, cassettes and DVD-A all catalogued there. It seems like we have a fairly similar taste in music. Love that Sven Gali record.
Good idea about cataloging... I will do that at some point. If you like Sven Gali, you can buy autographed copies on their website for a pretty decent price.
@@Channel33RPM I've been communicating with them on their Facebook page on and off. Trying to get them to reissue Inwire on vinyl. They said they'd look into it.
I also gotta chime in about Sven Gali, thanks for turning me on to that record, it's awesome. And I agree, after that, their sound really did change. And NOT for the better!.@@Channel33RPM
Thanks for the full, comprehensive tour, Frank. That was awesome and your daughter shot this video very well too. :)
To be totally honest... I'm jealous! 😅 What a dream! Keep enjoying those rooms Frank and Landry family! Cheers
Thanks man - all the best!
I liked the chaotic camera tour. Almost like watching a SNL Wayne’s World skit. :)
Bar, video games, movies and music listening areas. You have it all! Amazing place. Great work
Thank you very much!
Thank you Frank for being a normal guy and father! That’s why we love your channel. Other channels would have turned the corner and shown their “old” system with a $100k price tag. Keep spinning brother
Thanks man!
A true Canadian showing his collection of Crown Royal. Nice tour Frank! Some cool stuff down there.
Thanks for watching!
What a cozy space! Love it
Great great great! Really nice man cave! Enjoy :)
Much appreciated!
Thanks for the Tour Frank!! Love the space and how you make the most of it. Jealous of the Multicade for sure.
I recently expanded my shelving with additional Kallax from IKEA. I referenced a previous video on how you recommended bracing and securing the shelves to the wall. Also replaced a 52” Plasma TV with a 65” LCD mounted to the wall with additional shelves below it. Opened up the space and I will have to share it with you on Vinyl Dens Episode. Rock On!
AWESOME setup Frank! Love it. 😎
Thanks 👍
Loved the tour Frank. Thanks!
As a fellow Canadian, I approve of this basement of fun you have made for yourself!! Well done!!
Congrats Frank on making it onto an episode of Channel 33 RPM vinyl dens! But did you have to hog the whole show?
Just kidding. Thank's for the tour. Very nice set-up. A little bit of everything and plenty of reasons to hang out.
Haha, thanks man!
That's a nice cozy basement. I love it.
Thank you!
Totally loved your tour. Awesome basement set up.
Amazing rooms Frank! Always love seeing your setup. Great to see you showing your guitars more in recent videos.
Your basement is insane. I love the bar!
Thanks! I probably spend too much time at the bar, lol.
Great video. Looks like a great space you guys have made for you and the family. Definitely inspiring.
Thanks for the tour Frank. We love it. Nice space(s). We would totally hang out far too much. 😉
Channel 33 RPM Rawks! “I’m fully aware of that.” 🙏🤘
All three spaces look great! Thanks for the tour.
Thanks for the tour Frank! Your room is just like all your videos, first class and top rate!! 😁
Great video Frank!! You have a great set up!! I love it!!! Your place is wired for sound! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Awesome space! Thanks for the tour!
Awesome space Frank!
I absolutely loved the video, my friend. I had to laugh when I saw the Assman License played on the wall from seinfeld...lol. so much great stuff you have. I thought you had more albums than 1400. Great video
Wow, that's an amazing room Frank!😮😮😮
Thank you!
Great space, Frank. Thank you for sharing! I'm not a drinker but the bar is AWESOME!
Your vinyl/bar/home theater rooms are completely awesome.
Love your setup man..AWESOME!!
Thank you!
Thanks for the tour beautiful room
One word to describe this video. AWESOME 😎
Hey Frank what an absolutely beautiful cave and such a pleasure to get the opportunity to visit with you and get a personal tour! Love the idea of having each room separate from each other instead of combining everything into one. Take care and thanks for sharing and allowing us into your beautiful living space! ~ Jeff
Fantastic setup FRANK wow. You have done very well for your self, you have some high end entertainment equipment. You are very lucky , I'm so jealous lol, thanks for showing your man cave.
Love your basement space Frank. I need to replan my vinyl storage as I’m fast running out of space. So that’s my project for at least the next couple of months or so!
Fantastic tour! Dig your dedication to the things you love... Crown Royal, horror movies, skulls and music of course. It's especially great your family gets to enjoy the cave with you.
Thanks!!!! You summed me up pretty well, haha. Cheers!
Guitars, movies, booze, blah, blah, blah. But you really got me with the Bad News album! The spinoff from The Young Ones was hilarious! “Let’s call it ‘Paranoid - Greatest Hits’”…😂
Oh man... I LOVE Bad News!!
very exuberant frank love your cinema room and bar its just amazing its overwhelming to watch the entire tour of your Maud cons . just brilliant
Thank you.
Very fun tour, Frank - great camera work from your daughter, too! I'm gonna be doing one of these soon, when I'm finished with my office/studio/musicroom revamp, which was supposed to be done in nine days but is now pushing into nearly two months now - yow! But I"m almost there! LOL!
Awesome!
Very cool. I dig it. 🤘🏼🎸🤘🏼
Love the basement and the crown royal. Cheers 🍻
Great rooms and great video! I'm making some changes to my space this week with some new audio gear and some new shelves. Planning to submit some photos to your Vinyl Den segment once I'm done!
Awesome room. Thanks for sharing this with us 😊👍
Thanks for watching!
Never be complete till Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park is released!
4K projector is well worth the purchase...3D projector is the cherry on top!
This is just to show the majority of us who can't stretch to this awesomeness!! 😂
Finally!!!!! LOL Love it my friend!!! I will be looking for my actual invite soon!! We are going to chill out and watch the entire 3 Company Series lol.
Sounds like an awesome hang! I LOVE that show.
Very nice!! Great job!
Thank you very much!
Looks awesome! Im in the middle of a basement rebuild and cant wait to finish it. Need a fun space for drinks / record spins and games.
Thanks for the walk-through Frank. Always loved your music room but your home theatre and bar is pretty cool as well !!. Its quite obvious you like a drop of Crown Royal whiskey too, to go with your collection of horror films. I too am a owner of the complete Cheers Series and love to watch it even now, as it puts a smile on my face. Thanks for sharing and keep on spinnin !!
Those Cheers shows are fun to watch. It was a great series. All the best, Graham.
Nice tour Frank i would never want to leave you sgould do a short video jammin on the guitar again great video
"Crown Royal, always my favorite drink".....Mine too. Try the Salted Camel Crown next time it comes out.
Gorgeous space, Frank. I wish we had basements in Arizona. Then again, I won't trade the weather with you 😊
Very nice set-up, Frank. I am envious! I was never able to have such a room as my wife and I have lived in apartment/condos. After our son was born I had to sell off the vinyl because it was all too much and I was afraid our boy would climb my shelves and topple them. Storage became a problem. I have a very small room now but my listening is entirely FLAC files and I listen on headphones or to some Peachtree Audio desktop speakers. It's all so much easier at age 62 than logging all that stuff around and up/down stairs.
That's great - it's all about getting a set up that works for you.
Very nice basement!
Love it. Working on my own right now. Wish we had and IKEA near so I could get some of those shelves!
Glad to see the Canadian love -- from Crown Royal to Fluance! I had a dear friend (now passed) who was an Order of Canada recipient and Crown Royal was his drink, so I got sentimental for him when I saw that.
love it
Excellent! Love the Stroh's sign and the beer itself even better. Canadian beer and wine has a little more kick than what we get in the U.S. They had a vintage, restored Stroh's delivery truck at the 1986 Expo in Vancouver.
Awesome! I would absolutely love to have a set up like that!
Cool! Thanks
Awesome tour Frank
Thanks 👍
Nice layout! I collected a bunch of beer and booze signs, ect. To turn my basement into a bar, back when I first bought the house at 25. My basement periodically floods and the ceiling is just above my 6'3" head. I have no free room in the house, and my garage is full of cars and stuff. So most of them I still have stashed away. Some the wife has sold or donated. I tried once to use a corner of the dining room, but she has turned it into her office. So to make along story short, 40 years later and I still envy you, lol.
nice stuff cool place to get away from the day
Fantastic setup, Frank! I was going to say you need some good scotch for when I come over but then you showed the Cabo... That will do.😆
I want a neighbor like you, LOL. Horror movies, masks, random access CD collection, projector screen, I wish I'd know anyone like that here. Very nice setup, we don't have a basement here in CA, so the screen is in the living room (currently just a cheap fold up one) but will be a powered one soon, and that 4k projector is coming too, my current one is on a pile of books.
Got the same Frankenstein mask, but no Michael ones, I'm more of a Jason guy, so got his mask instead 😀
Fun little tour of your digs!
Thanks! Jason's awesome too.
Great tour! We are roughly the same age and it's not surprising how many items we share, from movie posters to masks from Trick or Treat studios. I'll have to share a tour soon.
Nice finished basement and music room you have. If I had a basement/music room like that I would never leave it.
Me and my wife have started talking about selling our condo and buying a house within the next year or 2. The housing prices need to come down in the Toronto area and those interest rates need to come down. Prices and interest rate is insane right now.
I think that Reverend Horton Heat poster is for shows at the WECC in 2001. I was at the Saturday night show.
Thanks for the room tour. Looking really nice place.
Thanks for watching!
Way, way, way above anything I could ever be able to afford but I congratulate you for your success in this life. Truly magnificent. You are blessed.
Thank you. I try to be frugal, but step by step, I got everything to where I wanted it to be.
if I had a basement I would have a sweet listening room too. My dad turned our garage into a bar with a pool table and games. He listened to country 8 tracks all the time. I would play my 8 tracks too.
Nice Gretsch! I have the same exact model. Threw some locking tuners on it and replaced the knobs with the nickel plated Gretsch knobs. Solid guitar for a great price. Love the rest of your setup as well! Cheers!
Great to hear from another Gretsch fan! I was very surprised at how nice it plays, especially considering those are essentially budget guitars (I found this one for $375 USD new at a Guitar Center in North Dakota. Nice upgrades you did. I like the idea of installing locking tuners. I just grabbed a case for the guitar this week.
love the room tour, give you daughter a hi-five good job on video
Will do!
Nice setup. I love the Japanese Fender. Good looking axe man. You are very efficient with your use of space. I wish I was that organized.
I have a 36'x36'12 garage we use for our "family room", home theatre, workshop, etc. No, we don't park cars in it lol. It has two audio systems. A 3.1 system connected to my PC via an Onkyo home theatre receiver and a vintage Pioneer SX-780 below the 75" television connected to both the TV and a RPi4 DAC and homemade 3 way speakers. These speakers go down to 35hz so pretty nice (12" Woofers). While I only somewhat miss 5.1 having surround sound, with the SX-780, it sounds so damn good that it's worth it. Oh, my computer rack is also in the garage housing my main PC, Media server, Home Assistant server and various routers/switches. I'll send you some photos once it's better organized.
Sounds like a great space.
Good stuff!
So killer bro love it
Thanks JC.
I went to that MC Girls tour in DETROIT, Cobo Hall - I remember Whitesnake had 2 guitarists and I was SO CONFUSED cause I knew from the liner notes there was only one guitarist on the album! Didn't figure it out till years later that Dave fired John Sykes, lol
Reverend Horton Heat!! Hell yeah, Smoke em if you got em is a personal favorite of mine. My dad loves them and would play them as I was growing up! Love the posters, I’m a huge horror fan and will do a record video soon! Would love to see your movie collection! Awesome Joan Jett Auto and story!! Love her since School Days, so talented. Love the video!
Like yours, my hang out space is on my basement. The room is wood panneled on three sides and is divided into two rooms. My LPs are stored in a vaguely sensible order. My CDs are stored on shelves in my basement proper. I put the shelves up in between wall studs that are just there to support the wood panneling. Again the CDs are placed where there is enough space for that artist.
Another great video I was just hoping to see some of the autographed pictures that I sent you I hope you will put them up soon if not it's okay but keep spinning 😛🤘
I has them in my garage workshop area... now looking for some new real estate indoors. I think I will put them on my wall, next to the license plates. Cheers man!
I can see that you have the threes company box set, that’s awesome.
Awesome!!
Nice space… from a fellow Canuck. :)
Thanks!
Sweet arcade cabinet. They ever reopen the arcade at The Forks?
Thanks! Yes, Phantom Amusements has re-opened at The Forks. Mark (the owner) is an A+ guy! His cabinet conversion exceeded my expectations, and he did it for a very reasonable price.
Like a secret sanctuary!
Your music room is bigger than my apartment. Here, if the sunshine gets in, I have to get out.
Love your room sir
Thank you!
Great choice for your favourite horror movie. Those who know, know! ;)
I am hanging out at your place more often. I’ll bring the compact cassettes. 🥃
Fantastic! Would love to sip some crown with ya in that fantastic space!
Looks good bro
Thanks! \m/
Crown Royal makes all music sound better 🍹 👍
Love the bar!! Some Bourbon recommendations…. Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, Blanton’s, Weller, Old Forrester, E.H. Taylor…. Depending on where you live you might be able to get those at your local shop.
Thanks for the recommendations. I do have a botte of Old Forrester on the shelf... I will look for some of the others you mentioned.
I saw the motley/whitesnake tour, but in Evansville IN. I think I was 15.
I'm a big crown man also (reg and apple). It will always probably be my fav, but lately I've been on a little Eagle Rare kick.. pretty good!! Im a weird beer drinker. Everybody likes ipa's and dark beers, but I'm a rolling rock guy, which is as far from a dark beer as you can get.
I may have mentioned this before, but John Carpenter went to college at WKU while writing halloween, about 40 minutes from me, and all the nearby towns and streets mentioned are around Bowling Green KY.
That Motley/Whitesnake show was so good... I still remember it well. I was 14, so we are close in age.
Love this tour, as I recall the very first video of yours that I watched a few years back was also a tour of your basement! Poltergeist is one of my all-time favourite movies. I really like what you've done here and wish that I had a basement to work with. I just have a spare bedroom where I keep my computer, a few game consoles, a game collection, as well as an A/V setup with my old 55" TV with soundbar/subwoofer, a Roku Express 4K, and a PS3 slim for playing back disc-based movies. I'd like to work on cable management as well as organize the room a bit better but it's a decent space for what it is. I listen to most of my music in here, it's nice and cozy. By the way, is that the same bottle of Wayne Gretzky Red Cask that you had in your prior tour video? Haha, I actually like that stuff! Greetings once again from Edmonton.
Yes, it's the same bottle :) .. For some reason, it doesn't do it for me. Hope all is well in Edmonton! I do love that city and really enjoyed the 12 years we lived there. Cheers!
Every man should have his "Space." Congrats on yours.
Looks really cool!! For me i don't do the Posters in Frames because the Frames are somewhat Expensive and u need always a Special Size for that. I only did it for one Photo I did with the Band which their have signed.
I got my poster frames from Michaels... If you have one in your area, and wait for sale, or use their coupons, you can get the poster frames for a fairly decent price.
I recommend Cathedral Ledge organic rye whiskey it’ll be hard for you to get it’s only available in NH, Maine if you ever travel to the area it’s worth getting . Also a rye whiskey called Rabbit Whole
Nice tour Frank! Around the 10:30 mark, next to the signed Joan Jett album, hangs a framed and
red Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.....something? I think the title says: "Down w/ the Mosquitoes", or
something like that. Very nice, I must say. What is that? A regular album? A bootleg? Or a tour program?
It's actually an art print... someone did a spoof of the Tom Petty album cover, calling it "Damn the Mosquitoes."
