I’m excited too! I have the Pixel 9 Fold on the way. Been using the Pixel 9 Pro and it’s so nice. Shoot me some questions and I’ll work them into the next video
@@FreshTechTherapy Do you think that the elephant that has yet to enter into the foldable arena (Apple) is going to have a significant impact on the growth/interest of foldables? There are rumors of a flip style model in the works. I can't imagine Apple creating a fold style that would eat into their iPad sales, (you know Tim Cook is an accountant at heart LOL) even though I would prefer a fold style based on a productivity standpoint. How likely are you to ditch the Androids if Apple does come out with a foldable device?
That’s a great question. First I won’t say the answer to the end. I will never ditch android. I have recently considered switching android to my personal phone because I enjoy playing with android features more than I do Apple features even if they say they are intelligent. I would likely think that Apple would have a foldable iPad first before a foldable phone. One thing I am recently realizing and this is a personal development for me is that may be foldable phones really are wasting a lot of my time. Not just the unfolding like I mentioned in my other video, but they caused me to do extra work on my phone, which I probably should have just done sitting down at my laptop. I’m always wondering, am I being tricked into doing work on a phone by having a foldable phone?
@@FreshTechTherapy Really? That's so crazy because I'm considering not upgrading to the 16 Pro Max, and going to the OnePlus Open instead. Unlike the Z Folds, the outer screen of the Open is essentially a normal size smartphone (6.3in) with a normal aspect ratio (unlike the Z Folds which are just too narrow and literally force you to always have the phone open). Tzhe flip side for me is that a foldable KEEPS me from opening my laptop, which will inevitably lead me to work more...that's how I look at it. The camera on the OnePlus Open is killer too!
I still haven’t had any experience with the one plus but it sounds great. I’m really loving the clean android os w Pixel 9 pro fold so much, front screen is reasonable - but the brightness 🔅 is not the same as the Fold 6 or maybe even the one plus. I also grabbed a 9 XL that I’m considering if I got back to android slab. Legit delima and I’ll get out a video soon for you of me opening the 9 Fold 💪 it is super think and beautiful hardware. Google is growing up w the hardware
Cool, rapid first takes
😃
Adam my man, great as always. Can't wait to see your take on the new Pixel 9 Pro Fold. About a week to go for the 16 Pro Max reveal!!
