cool. i found them on a comp with necros and the fartz some years ago. as soon as i have the equipment i will upload some cool shit, this is my first year with or even on a computer since oregon trails. finding some cool shit i might not have otherwise but its hard when you mostly like old punk rock since there is not much good stuff these days, so its all about finding the old obscure shit. DIY OR DIE!
@@skinheadyouth66 ....maybe if yer a wussy that likes music to just be physically inactive. The Neos fuckin` ruled considering they did what they did when they were like 15 years and fast AF. The "unlistenable" adjective doesn`t appy to them because they are a PUNK band and the majority of peeps in the earlly 80ties that reffered to punk bands as unlistenable were the asinine masses of all social classses. I personally can listen to them A LOT, cuz as I mentioned, they FUCKIN` RULED!👌🤘
Ian Henderson Yeah,he was as great as it got,back then,I'd say.I wish I had him drum for me in YOUTH KORPS. I went through 4 drummers and was never satisfied until I got Kent Stacks from SCREAM to play and record for 2 weeks.
@@skinheadyouth66 ASOCIAL 1982 demos. Unless you count the song "No sense" it's even faster than DRI. Still, KORO's work is on a much higher rechnical level and they are tighter atthe expense of being a bit slower. Don't forget riot fight by the beastie boys, which was the absolutely fastest song in 1981 and credited for introducing blast beats lmao
East HC? They're from Knoxville so I'd probably guess southern hardcore at best. I hate debating shit, but sure eastern TN perhaps the best, but eastern USA? You're going up against quite a few things-be it best hardcore or eastern USA for that matter. But hey, Neon Christ was from Atlanta who's more eastern than Koro. I'm not knocking Koro as I got a font tat on my wrist, just regionally labeling that needs some consideration at least. Best fast 80's HC record east of the Mississippi? Sure, I'll go with that.
This shit is intense, and to think that the members were 14-16 years old at the time of the recording? Insane.
antirawk crazy
My friend Mike 'Thrashead' Sullivan turned me on to this gem back in '04 love it
Jason Misfit Tell Thrashead that Ed from YOUTH KORPS said hello.
very good. honestly one of the most solid hardcore punk/ punk in general albums. every songs good just gets better and better

A tiny flash of saxophone at 5:22 !
Definately the fastest release at its time.
Punk93Metal DRI ep
fucu after comparing the two releases, yeah I’d have to go with the Dirty Rotten EP/LP. It’s close though.
Or close to The Neos or B.G.K.

@Punk93Metal
Pretty close but I think DRI will always hold that title.
