I’m assuming the cask is seasoned with Brandy, not aged. I would prefer they not add extra chemicals in the whiskey. Are the chemicals just to speed up the seasoning or are they affecting the flavor?
Wondering if Irish Whiskey is getting it’s Brandy barrels from the US or EU….
