Miami doesn't even play North Carolina, NC state , or Clemson in the regular season.
    I get your point, though.
All the more reason why Miami should win.

The bad rap of Mario Cristobal with QBs and being a "QB killer" is a 100% FALSE narrative floated around the internet (not this show) that people lazily attach themselves to.
Mario's QBs at Oregon performed well. Both of his Oregon QBs Justin Herbert and Anthony Brown are in the NFL. Brown was an average at best QB at Boston College. In 2021, Brown led the PAC-12 in passing with 2,989 yrds and 64% of his completions.
So, the QB thing is a myth put out there by Mario's competitors and haters.

Nah Smoke, bad take on Mafah. He’s gonna be the same Mafah that he was versus UM. 😂😂😂

I agree with Smoke to a certain extent. As a Hurricane fan I don’t want any excuses this season. 10-2 is what my expectations are for them. Anything less than that (barring injury), I have to agree it’s on the coaches. I think Mario is an excellent recruiter, but if he can’t coach up the recruits he’s bringing here, then what’s the point? It’s year three, he has his players, he has his crew…hell he’s even got a favorable schedule. No reason why they should lose more than two games this year ON PAPER.

Fsu a bigger football brand than the U are you joking Miami hasn't won big in 20 years yeah but it's not even close Miami is a way bigger brand than fswho when fsu won their first national championship in 93 Miami already had 4 look at all the hall of famers in the NFL Miami has produced compared to fsu & even Clemson can't compete with the U when it comes to football tradition the only thing they've got on us is there's is more recent ok I'll give you that but that's it every where else Miami wins over Clemson it's Miami who's the big brand & Miamis brand is national you can go to other countries throw up the U & they know Miami is the big dog & were getting ready to dominate college football again with or without the acc Miami can stand on its own unlike Clemson & fsu

Reed, it's funny how you're playing both sides of the fense with Norvell and FSU.
On one hand you say they had a great 2023 season and are positioned well.
On the other hand you say you don’t put much stock into their 63-3 blowout loss because so many players sat out.
Those players thst sat out of the Orange Bowl game are no longer on the roster. Rhe players that got blown out in the Orange Bowl olus new transfers are.
All the media has made FSU the favorite to win the ACC. Based on what?
80% of FSU's 2023 offensive production is gone. They have been replaced with talented, but unproven players. The entire FSU 2024 WR room had a combined total of 57 catches in 2023. This includes the production of all their transfer WRs at their previous schools.
All the talk about FSU being great in 2024 is purely conjecture. You have transfers like Earl Little Jr., Marvin Jones, Jalen Brown, and others have had little to no college football game experience.
Unlike the previous 2 seasons, FSU lacks proven experience at several positions.

The hype on VT is debatable. They're very hard to guage. That ha a very weak schedule in 2023. They another weak schedule in 2024 which will keep them in the ACC Championship conversation.
The Miami vs VT game should tell us if VT is legit.

Smoke, it's the offensive lines that wear people down. Mafah may be a good back, but that Clemson offensive line isn't good.
Clemson had 34 yards on 31 carries against Miami. Clemson plays UGA game 1. We'll see if Clemson can run the ball against defenses that matter. I say NO.
Yes, they’ll look good against most of the ACC, but they will struggle against FSU, NC State, and Miami if they meet in the ACC title game.
