As a lifelong Miami fan, the hate for Miami from other fans is intriguing to me. Mostly because we've been down for so long. Every time Miami peeks it's head above the clouds, even for a brief second, the haters come out the wood work. But anyway, all this winning in the offseason Mario is so good at needs to start translating at some point to on the field. And in my opinion, that starts with offensive philosophy. If Cam Ward comes down just to have the same predictable playcalling, it won't matter.
Plus Miami fans are bigtime complainers abt their own team. They could play an amazing game and douchebags will bash them like "well they should have won by more tds .. they cant be happy for more than 5 minutes. Worst fairweather fans. I dont call myself a canes fan I separate myself from those douchebags.
It wont be same play calling and if it is we have a REAL QB who can throw, run SEE THE FIELD , and make the throw.. Tyler always had guys open but he olny had one tartet and thats Restrepo, we got more talent than restrepo, but he will keep the defense honest for sure .. he makes it so much easier for Miami and there is no reason why we cant go undefeated. But i will accept 10 wins and no less. Its TIME. Then we got another bad ass QB recruit, who will be in the top 10 QBs before next signing day! He is a stud and will definitely be a QB to take the reigns when necessary. As for Jacurri he is done and needs to transfer. We have a backup already, he would be 3rd string AT the best... Emory is better than Jacurri and proved it during his games.

I swear, Mario can recruit with the best of them, but I think most of us are still waiting for that development and putting it all together moment for him. $80m contract for 5-8 wins, sounds an awful lot like our pal Jimbo.
The issue is his actual in game coaching Miami at minimum in these next 3 years will hit 10 wins just due to how talented and great the roster is but that’s the ceiling cuz Mario’s stubborn in ability to actually coach in game if he let his coordinators do their thing and he was just a figure head and recruiter they’d be great

They will make the playoffs, that schedule is 😂 and Cam is very comparable to Penix, I think he has a good year and Mario has done a good job building the trenches
Idk if anyone actually hates Miami in the year of our lord 2024. people simply just have no patience for the same cycle of cheerleading insanity for schools that make underachieving its own sport, Miami, A&M, etc.
Difference between Miami and A&M is they have no national championships. Miami has been three like 20 coaches since the 80s with 5 nattys. Miami is private university that since these last few years with Mario, the administration has never properly funded the program to get adequate coaching as well as upgrading the facilities, unlike that school in college station who has all the money/nil they could ever need. But some how in the words of a former a&m recruit on a visit, “I don’t see now football trophies.” When understand the context of what those past teams has been through and the give a damn from the administrators to actually put money into the program, you’ll understand why it’s a different hype, warranted or not.
I was looking at that schedule I don’t think I can ever remember when Miami played for straight road games I hear people saying the schedule is fairly easy. Five of their first seven games are on the road.
Unfortunately if they can’t even compete in the crappy ACC they need more than just players to play. I’ve also seen there stadiums during games, it’s been empty. Good luck 👍
I think the whole “they bought him” is a dumb argument, like you said what do they expect? I think Ward is super talented but tbf he’s a little unproven STILL, and I don’t trust Christibol to fix or improve what’s there. Interesting to see how they do next year
Everybody hates Miami because Miami used to whip their team up and down the field or they whipped somebodies Daddies team so they were taught to hate Miami. It makes me laugh my ass off! The U was the first school to go into the inner city and places like O-town and get kids to show up for the City man! If you don’t like Miami it’s because you watched us whip you or your daddy watched us whip you and you’re bitter. I got respect for Florida State they didn’t take us off the schedule…but Florida and Notre Dame…Shame on you!!
I say he gets banged up down there in Miami. Should have went to Ohio State better offense of line and a slew of excellent wide receivers and as we all know, Ryan Day is extremely one heck of a quarterback coach.
Its hilarious . Miami gets hate from others just because . Who cares . F them. Texas A &m , Texas , Alabama , Georgia ,Oregon , FSU spend more money than Miami in Nil . MIAMI not even in top 10 .
Guy was clear with everyone he was to the highest bidder from the jump. Even put his name in the draft to leverage more $$$. He’s solid but I don’t see him near as elite as Josh is portraying.
Josh portraying him ? Where do you think he gets that outlook from ? Ohio State wanted him, Florida State wanted him, USC reached out to him , and Auburn reached out to him. Josh is not the only one who thinks he's elite.
If Miami were in the realm of playing for the ACC championship every year and losing close games in that championship, I'd say this add might get them over the hump. However, we've witnessed poor coaching from Cristobal and company find ways to lose close games. So, Cam Ward isn't going to make Cristobal manage the clock any better than he did last year....if they were going to get it right, they'd have done it by now.
@@alfredosenalle9284 Miami vs Georgia Tech is the most glaring example of poor coaching AND bad clock management. With 40 seconds to go and Miami leading, Mario chose to run the ball instead of taking a knee. Miami fumbled giving GT the ball back in Miami territory. GT scores a last second touchdown. Final score 23-20 Georgia Tech. Miami could have given up a safety and most likely won that game. Giving up 2 points is better than giving up 7 points 24/7/365.
This stuff takes time, if you are someone who ever built a business without a loan to where if you didn’t work you will be out in the streets. You look at the last time Miami won a championship and fast forward to now. We doing Dam good on the road we are on right now so relax. It might be another two year for wards Domino’s to line up and bare the fruits we are all looking for
Can we also not pretend that big time schools were doing this in other ways that smaller private universities couldn't keep up with? Schools like Alabama and Ohio State have enjoyed more funds to build facilities, expand stadiums, and of course hire coaches for years now. Building a good coaching room is definitely a work of skill, but it's also lately been a labor of writing checks. In 1998 the average coaches salary in D1A was just over $500,000. The top earners were Spurrier and Bowden and they were just cracking a million. Last year Alabama's outside linebacker's coach made more than that. Not their defensive coordinator (who was Kevin Steele and made just under $2 million himself) a single position coach. NCAA D1 football become a self-fulfilling prophecy and profit machine. Public schools with lots of resources could spend all the money they wanted to attract kids to their school by snatching up and consolidating all the best coaches, building all the best state of the art facilities, and investing money around the student athletes just on the boarder of actually paying them. This would then earn them great players who would win bowl games, earning the school a big bowl payday and likely help their conference earn a huge television contract (B1Gs $60 million per school guaranteed as an example). Teams like Alabama and Ohio State could therefore just snowball. I'm not going to take anything away from Saban as a genius of a coach, there are other large public universities that couldn't repeat his success. He was just able to stay on top longer because of this snowballing effect. I think even Saban realized that NIL and the modern landscape of college football was created in large part by the Alabama team he'd created. TV deals prior to NIL were already forcing conferences to consolidate and teams to jump ship. Coaches were similarly doing the same thing. NIL and transfer rules just allowed players to follow suit. Seeing how hectic and unstable all of this has been shouldn't be an indictment on these kids, but just reflecting the same behavior that schools and coaches were showing in this gold rush that is college athletics. ESPN and the SEC started this, NIL and transfers have helped level the playing field, and the ensuing chaos is just a direct result of the rampant and ridiculous amounts of cash that ESPN and SEC made the sport into.

People have said this about Miami when they had a 50 class and a home town kid stays home though 😂
With a great OL. Dude got sacked like 40 times last year
I was looking at that schedule I don’t think I can ever remember when Miami played for straight road games I hear people saying the schedule is fairly easy. Five of their first seven games are on the road.
But look at the teams…
Cap Miami never had a player of this type of qb
I’m convinced Josh Pate is an undercover Miami fan.
Or just logic
Nothing less than a 10 win regular season
Unfortunately if they can’t even compete in the crappy ACC they need more than just players to play. I’ve also seen there stadiums during games, it’s been empty. Good luck 👍
I think the whole “they bought him” is a dumb argument, like you said what do they expect? I think Ward is super talented but tbf he’s a little unproven STILL, and I don’t trust Christibol to fix or improve what’s there. Interesting to see how they do next year
Cristobal teams... where good QBs go to stagnate 😀
All this haters are all want bess but there never going to be it's still all about the U!!!!
Yep
I say he gets banged up down there in Miami. Should have went to Ohio State better offense of line and a slew of excellent wide receivers and as we all know, Ryan Day is extremely one heck of a quarterback coach.
He's like Penix.
He's brilliant when he shows up, but you can't guarantee he'll show up.
The problem with all this haters is that they are afraid, because Miami is coming back, the U will be back soon, go canes 🙌🙌🙌
Its hilarious . Miami gets hate from others just because . Who cares . F them. Texas A &m , Texas , Alabama , Georgia ,Oregon , FSU spend more money than Miami in Nil . MIAMI not even in top 10 .
I wouldn't have signed him and undoubtedly it's about the bag and now Milroe is in the portal
I'll take cam ward over Milroe any day
Fake news
As a Miami fan I'd rather have Ward 💯
You realize that was a fake new story reported by USA Today, right?
Milroe is staying at Bama.
The Miami hate is real
Can't wait for the Gators 8/31 and Noles TBD. Must win ACC (7-5 against SEC in '23) before playoff talk.
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 Keep hating baby!!!
Also Miami doesn't improve their QBS they just stay the same. This could be the worse mistake for Cam
Guy was clear with everyone he was to the highest bidder from the jump. Even put his name in the draft to leverage more $$$. He’s solid but I don’t see him near as elite as Josh is portraying.
He also turns the ball over at an alarming rate
You're the hater he's talking about in the video
You gotta be a FSU or OSU fan....😂😂
FSPOO for sure@@keyroncampbell-sr3cz
Josh portraying him ? Where do you think he gets that outlook from ? Ohio State wanted him, Florida State wanted him, USC reached out to him , and Auburn reached out to him. Josh is not the only one who thinks he's elite.
Not sold on Cam. He was basically told by the NFL ur not good enough yet that's first. Second he takes a lot of sacks, he is high risk high reward.
Which games did Mario missmanaged the clock ? How many games ?
@@alfredosenalle9284 Miami vs Georgia Tech is the most glaring example of poor coaching AND bad clock management. With 40 seconds to go and Miami leading, Mario chose to run the ball instead of taking a knee. Miami fumbled giving GT the ball back in Miami territory. GT scores a last second touchdown. Final score 23-20 Georgia Tech. Miami could have given up a safety and most likely won that game. Giving up 2 points is better than giving up 7 points 24/7/365.
@@tacticalmattfoley OK, that's the one game everyone mentions. Now tell me of another one.
Portal is killing teams lol
Now they have the qb to lead them to 7 wins
Can Ward beat out Reese Puffer?
