While Oslo may not boast a Marriott property downtown, my visit to this city was an opportunity to explore what I consider the best hotel in Oslo. The Clarion Hotel The Hub stands out not just for its size, being the largest hotel in Norway with over 800 rooms, but also for its luxurious feel, premium amenities, and innovative room designs.

🏨 *Why The Clarion Hotel The Hub?*
Despite not being a Marriott property, The Clarion Hotel The Hub caught my attention for several reasons:
- It's the largest hotel in Norway, offering a unique blend of luxury and innovative design.
- The hotel features premium amenities like an Nespresso machine in each room, a rarity for its room size.
- Unique room designs, including compact yet luxurious bathrooms and clever bedding solutions for dual occupancy, set it apart.
- The hotel's commitment to high-end elements within a compact space offers a unique stay experience in Oslo.
-Although the fitness center may be smaller than expected, the hotel's location offers easy access to Oslo's stunning architecture and cultural landmarks.

Saying there is no other option, You need to try the hotel "Amerikalinjen". Just opposite of the sentral station, and opened one months apart. Also owned by choice/strawberry but kept out chain as a stand alone hotel. Was part of building both hotels, and the feel of Amerikalinjen is just on a different level.

Thank you for this option I honestly was not aware of the Amerikalinjen but it does look very nice. If I make it back I will keep that in mind!

The Hub is a good hotel, but Hotel Continental, Grand Hotel, The Thief and Sommerro Hotel are all regarded as better/more luxury hotels in city centre. The Hub is more like a competitor to Oslo Plaza which have plans to expand and retake the position as the largest hotel in Oslo.
