This coincides with the story of Nai Tang Wan (Mr.Sweet Melon, the slave master) Rebellion who established himself as a later king with the eradication of the Varman dynasty and theories. That’s an interesting take but I think we have to wait a bit more for other studies to confirm that, one study isn’t enough unfortunately on its own 😊
