My favorite as a child was Tarzan. I think I was a toddler when I saw it in a theater. I know it's not exactly toddler material, but I am the youngest of 3, and my oldest brother is 7.5 years older than I.
All of these movies except for Goofy Movie and Raya were my childhood. My favorite of them will be The Emperor’s new groove, it even got a DTV sequel and a tv series
It's such a shame how Underrated _Atlantis: The Lost Empire_ is. It's got plenty of likeable characters, a cool and unique animation style, stunning visuals, a sweeping musical score, and message and themes that are still relevant today. And seriously, can they just make Kita an official Disney Princess already?
I know not many people care for *"Brother Bear"* that much. But this movie has a place in my heart since I use to watch it alot with my mom as a kid. Plus when my sister Emma was born, I gave her her first teddy bear that she still has almost 8 years later, and do you know what she calls him? Brother Bear. ❤
Brother Bear is one of the most beautiful movies i've ever watched. It deals with friendship, the role of family, grief, growing up and the spirit of nature and it doen't even need a love story to make you laugh and cry and feel all the feels. Just amazing.
Same. Story and music is wonderful. It has some things to improve of course, but it's a phenomenal film. My top 2 most underrated are The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Frozen II.
YES! HUNCHBACK NEEDS MORE LOVE FOLKS. Honestly, my favourite of the classic Disney movies. Never has a villain been so human, and terrifying. The theme of “who is the monster and who is the man” is one of the best motifs for story to teach people acceptance. Man I love this film…
This list has some of my favorite Disney movies, had no idea they were considered underated because I watched them a lot as a kid. Fox & the Hound, Rescuers Down Under, The Great Mouse Detective, and Robin Hood were in heavy rotation on my VCR.
Yeah when I was a kid I thought everyone knew every Disney movie and Disney movie sequel out there. It wasn’t till I got older when I was absolutely shocked to find out that it wasn’t the case even with none Disney animated films. I can relate. Lol
“The Great Mouse Detective” will always be one of my favorites and that clock tower scene is just epic.😊❤ Also, Tiana wasn’t a slimy frog, she was covered in mucus.😉
The Great Mouse Detective is definitely an underrated masterpiece. Vincent Price nailed the role of Ratagan. That clocktower scene scared me as a kid though.
Personally, I consider it the unofficial start of the Disney Renaissance; it was the modest success of this film that encouraged financiers to support The Little Mermaid and truly revive the House of Mouse.
Treasure Planet is my favourite. Silver reminds me of my best uncle who passed away at the age of 50. He was carefree, pulled up a crowd from anywhere, and was one of my best friends.
@Wester Frost Thanks. I just tear up when he speaks about catching the light of me for believing in me, especially when he says it in my language I'm like, "yeah you would have wanted to be there for me but that time never came"...
I love Treasure Planet. First off, awesome that it’s number two on this list and second, I watched this all the time. Jim’s adventure in space makes my heart soar and I love the song “I’m Still Here” so much. Also, it has great funny moments
The Black Cauldron might be Disney’s 25th movie but it almost killed the company. Gurgi is a lovable character and Princess Eilonwy is considered a forgotten Disney princess but she deserves more love. Credit to the movie is the voice of The Horned King, John Hurt
Yes indeed. For a very long time Disney tried to put as much distance between themselves and the movie as possible. They wanted it buried & forgotten. Back in the day they even halted all VHS productions. They wanted that movie gone. To this day I don't know what made Disney change their tune. Since the movie was released on DVD then Blu-Ray and then Digital.
It'd also be awesome if they'd make a live action version of The Black Cauldron. Jeremy Irons or Idris Elba could easily be The Horned King with Frank Welker being Gurgi.
So happy that The Fox and The Hound and Brother Bear made the list since I watched those movies repeatedly as a kid and loved and respected them for in a weird way helping me fall in love with the darkness of the world 😁👏🏻🖤🦊🐶🐻
The Hunchback of Notre Dame. When I first watched it as a kid, I find it very epic with the animation and songs. The beginning might be dark but it makes a good impression. The standout of the movie for me is Esmeralda’s song
The song "Welcome" from Brother Bear always held a special place in my heart. Hell, Disneyland used it as their theme song for their 50th anniversary. That HAS to mean something.
Awesome choices! I don’t think Hunchback of Notre Dame, Tarzan, Princess and the Frog or Emperors New Groove are considered underrated. I like them all, doesn’t matter if they’re all overrated or underrated.
Treasure Planet was a movie that took on a more profound meaning for me as I grew older seeing more and more of myself in Jim then i was willing to admit before i was willing to change for the better, while films like Atlantis The Lost Empire, Brother Bear, Lilo and Stitch, Tarzan, Robin Hood and The Emporers New Groove, i grew up with these movies, they are all parts of my childhood i could never forget and never not love but yo hear they are forgotten breaks my heart. I only really watched Hunchback of Notre Dame later in life when I could really appreciate the beauty of how mature and dark it was. While Meet the Rovonsons and Wreck it Ralph came later they are still some of finest movies created by the Mouse
i have such good memories of oliver & company with my older sister. its just a classic and the soundtrack is full of hits.. they really didn’t have to go that hard 😭😭😭😭
I was two years old when I saw Atlantis: The Lost Empire in theaters. The movie is wow to me. Milo is smart and Kida is one tough princess. I love Kida’s transformation
Robin Hood is one of my favorite Disney movies of all time! It really is so underrated. The soundtrack is awesome and it has one of the most beautiful, romantic songs in all of Disney in the scene Love

Max telling his dad “Hi” with the soup made both my own Dad and I tear up when we watched it. It’s definitely our movie, and I’ll always love it. The Extremely Goofy Movie is also a ton of fun!
My family and I just watched Meet The Robinsons last weekend. I hadn’t seen it in forever and had forgotten how good it is and how freaking awesome the soundtrack is!
Totally forgot I was 4 years old when I saw Brother Bear in theaters. I always love the nostalgia of Disney because I grew up with it. What I love about Brother Bear is the lovable Koda, the soundtrack by singer Phil Collins and the amazing scene of Kenai’s transformation
Tina Turrner also made a song for Brother Bear too. (God rest her soul.) Some other Disney movies I think are pretty underrated is Brother Bear 2, Lilo & Stitch: Stitch with a glitch, Anastasia, Lion King: Simba's Pride, The Iron Giant, & Bolt. Now I do know that you guys put Bolt in the inro before the listings, but it's still very lovely and very underrated! I haven't seen The Iron Giant, but I've heard it get high praise, and I guess it's reasonable why you didn't contain as many sequals because most didn't measure up to their originals, but I think it's bogus y'all didn't give a shout out to Anastasia!
Most of these films helped define my childhood memories....shame they are considered underrated. Hercules soundrack is FIRE. Tarzan is epic in scope. Glad you made this list.
I remember 'The Emperor's New Groove' as one of the funniest movies of my childhood. I just about suffocated with laughter. 'Atlantis' was absolutely beautiful. The phrase "You got something sporty, you know, like a tuna?" stuck in my head and begged to come out every time I was offered a variety of options. On the occasions it did escape, only my sister would giggle at the reference, haha. Most of the time I just got baffled expressions in return.
Brother Bear is my favorite Disney movie ever and i think it's the most underrated ever. I hope everyone sees it one day. It really touches your heart.
The master detective Basil Mouse was my absolute favorite precisely as The Little Mermaid. 🥰 They were the two, I could watch again and again, knew the whole script and all the songs on. And I watched them so much, that I don't know how many VHSs we were content to buy because the films were completely worn out. 😅
20- The sword and the stone 19- The black cauldron 18- Oliver & company 17- The fox and the hound 16- Tarzan 15- Wreck-it Ralph 14- Raya and the last dragon 13- The great mouse detective 12- The princess and the frog 11- Hercules 10- Robin Hood 9- The rescuers down under 8- The emperor's new groove 7- A goofy movie 6- Lilo and stitch 5- Atlantis the lost empire 4- Meet the Robinsons 3- Brother bear 2- Treasure planet 1- The hunchback of notre dame
I’ve noticed the more *intelligent* the film the more underrated. Examples: Brother Bear, Tarzan, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Meet The Robinson’s, Hunchback, Pocahontas, A Goofy Movie, The Princess & The Frog, etc. Also characters beautifully written like Nani, Lilo & Anna are underrated by characters that are chaotic or pretty like Stitch & Elsa. Look at Anna she was underrated by Elsa for ice powers & a catchy song for years!
Speaking of voice casts in Disney movies, from 1937’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to 1977’s The Rescuers might be well known but hardly mentioned. From 1981’s The Fox and the Hound to 2022’s Strange World are loaded with great stars that are in a lot of movies and brings the magic
Oliver and Company's Sykes is one of my favorite villains. That's the case for one simple reason: 10 years after first watching it I realized how vile he is and what he's actually saying, and how realistic his character is. And McLeach's first apperance... that truck jumping out from the trees... that never left my mind. I still hear it today.
Im glad that Treasure Planet got high on this list! Easily one of my favorite under-rated Disney movies! Love every character, and loved the song "I'm Still Here". Even have the song on my Spotify playlist!
That’s what you think. I love The Great Mouse Detective. Watched it all the time when I was little. “Let Me Be Good to You” is a favorite Disney song of mine
As 59’s Disney movie, Raya and The Last Dragon is awesome. Cool storytelling, great animation and great voice cast. I have a TukTuk stuff animal and my mom has a Sisu stuff animal
I’m going with The Rescuers: Down Under, Treasure Planet, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride, The Princess And The Frog and Raya And The Last Dragon.
Thanks to The Emperor’s New Groove, I can’t play Elden Ring without quoting Yzma’s “Pull the lever Kronk…WRONG LEVAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!” line whenever I have to pull a lever. I also find it hilarious that the whole reason in Lilo & Stitch the alien’s can’t just wipe out humanity is because they think Mosquitos are an endangered species xD
For Disney being the first of animation since 1937, it’s no wonder that it shows the magic, the wonder, the adventure, the drama and showstopping numbers until Don Bluth, Studio Ghibli, Warner Bros, Pixar, DreamWorks, Nickelodeon, Blue Sky, Sony Animation, LAIKA and Illumination came along
16:33 IM SO GLAD THIS IS HERE I fell in love with this movie again after 2021 and the soundtrack slaps Roxanne is a cool character. It’s too bad we never get to see her in future content
I am proud to say that I have seen every single one of these movies on the list. And I am so pleased that Brother Bear and Treasure Planet are ranked so high on the list.
Atlantis might have worked better if it was a live action movie instead of animated. A number of people involved in that movie even said they approached it like a live action movie
These animated Disney films may be underrated, But at least a lot of them are underrated classics! And to think people like Floyd Norman had a hand in bringing some of these films to life.
I love the Hunchback of Notre Dame and Meet the Robinsons, but I also really enjoy Ariel's Beginning... It's been one of my favourite films growing up. Even at 18 years old 😁 🙂 😄
Oliver & Company is before The Little Mermaid. It may not be the best Disney musical but it has fun characters. The movie has Billy Joel and Bette Midler
I really love The Hunchback of Notre Dame, yet I also understand why it's not promoted much to kids. But then again, Quasimodo and all the other characters definitely deserve more love!
To me, both "Atlantis: The Lost Empire" and "Treasure Planet" are terribly underrated. I saw both of them in theaters and loved them. They didn't get the recognition they rightfully deserved.
For the record, Atlantis: The Lost Empire is the very first Disney movie I saw in theaters at a young age. My mom doesn’t remember but I do. Growing up, I’ve been seeing more Disney movies by myself and with an addition of red hair. I’ve been a brunette for 23 years and now I get to be a red hair for an AWSM 2 Years and I love it
Looking at the box office of 1996, I was in shock that The Hunchback of Notre Dame was released in the same year as Scream. I didn’t get a phone until the year of 2017. I’m a girl that gets surprised a lot
Great list, Ms. Mojo. The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Hercules are in my top 5 animated movies. Tarzan's soundtrack is underrated. Treasure Planet and Atlantis are underrated action movies that deserveore love. Oliver and Co., How can you resist Dodger's "Why Should I Worry?" Thank you, Billy Joel. Same for Goofy Movie. Thank you, Tevin Campbell. "Stand Out," "I 2 I," and "Why Should I Worry" are replayed in my Disney playlist ever so often. That catchy. Phil Collins is a genius with Tarzan and Brother Bear. He never disappoints!
I'll admit that when I first found out about Treasure Planet? It was thanks to some old Didney AMVS and ever since I wanted to watch the movie, but eventually? I did watch it and I LOVED it! I could see myself within Jim Hawkins a couple of times and I'm glad I found another "outcast" to relate with, alongside Lilio and Sitich and I'm glad that it's now well known by all Disney fans, but I also think it's a shame because I think Treasure Planet totally deserved a sequel because we could've had more Jim Hawkins! Anyway, my favorite "underrated" Disney movies are Lilio and Sitich, Treasure Planet, Bolt, Brother Bear, The Princess and The Frog and The AristoCats.
Oliver and company is by far one of my favorite Disney movies and it's too bad that it is almost never mention even though the story and song are incredible. Pure childhood nostalgia.
Great video personally I think princess and the frog is so painfully treated by credits cause in 2009 Up Coraline cloudy with a chance of meatballs and fantastic were praized but this and monster vs aliens were overlooked. I love the story humor and animation for this film. Now can you do the top 10 worst Disney movies? I think Home of the range and Chicken little deserve it 😅😅😅😅
Without spoiling anything, the top 4 of this video make me so happy! Very happy #4 is as high as it is as I absolutely adore the movie and its message. I do not like #3 at ALL so it turned me off a little. However, #2 immediately made up for it and again, I was happy to see it so high as it is so much better than it has any right to be. And #1... I wasn't expecting it to be on this list, but the second I saw it, I immediately cheered out loud and got embarrassed when my family looked over. It is my absolute favorite Disney movie of ALL time and the fact that it is number 1 on this list is the perfect cherry on top to an already pretty rare but altogether earned stellar list of movies from this channel!
The movie "treasure planet" should have become a series because of Jim's past and the voyage to see what else the ship stopped at for supplies and extra. Also the quotes in the movie are true of what people do in life and it's also what I'm going through as well so this movie has a special place in my heart like the other movies I've seen on this top 20
I'm soooo glad Black Cauldron and Treasure Planet made the list!! SUCH gems!!! Mad Madame Mim is SUPER underrated!!! Emperor's New Groove is one of my absolute favorites!!
I just knew that Treasure Planet and Atlantis The Lost Empire and a Goofy movie and Brother Bear would be on this list. Those are my are my favourite underrated movies there just so awesome and cool and I do hope that more people watch it in the future 😊😊😊
Atlantis has one of the greatest ensemble casts of any Disney movie, ever. All of them were absolutely fantastic, and their friendship arc with Milo was wonderful as well. I'm glad to see it starting to get some of the love it deserves, but it STILL deserves more!
#1 and #2 happen to be my favorite Disney movies of all time. I'd have put Ralph Breaks the Internet and Strange World on the list. Both of them get lots of hate, but they both tell surprisingly sophisticated stories with lots of creativity and heart.
Ralph Breaks the Internet has a special spot in my heart, I think all the cameos made the movie so hated but the story of Ralph being so attached to someone and insecure of himself without a loved one is so true, as well as Vanellope trying to change her life 😅
I was born when Mulan came out, my brother’s birth year is The Little Mermaid, my sister’s birth year is The Great Mouse Detective, my mom’s birth year is The Aristocats and my dad’s birth year is The Jungle Book
Here’s what I can say about Disney Sequels; They are a Cherry of anyone’s childhood. Honestly, not all of them can beat the original. Some of them are bad and there are others that are good. Even having praise. Like Cinderella II: Dreams Come True for Anastasia and the Baker
YES!!! Thank you so much for this video! I think we all needed to be reminded of these amazing movies that don’t get as much love because of timing and stuff like that… my all time favs were Fox and the Hound, Hunchback of Noter dame, and Tarzan. I grew up with the first 2 and some of my favorite Disney song aren’t from the Disney princess movies but from the Hunchback of Noter Dame… some of my favorite scenes EVER came from these underrated movies like fox and the hound 😢this is one of my favorite videos I have ever watched because it brings back so much nostalgia, thank you.
In 2021, I did a video of Disney & Dark Skillet. Came out awesomely. The Black Cauldron is the first to be called the Darkest Disney Movie of All Time and for good reason, the source material and not to mention The Horned King’s plans. Having the movie a PG rating doesn’t do anything except giving hellish imagery since the 1980’s For The Hunchback of Notre Dame in 1996, it holds the seven deadly sins but it’s more on the villain Judge Claude Frollo, who has lust for the beautiful Esmeralda. He has one heck of a villain song, Hellfire. The song might not be for kids but it shows how bad he is
I Absolutely Love Oliver and Company and The Great Mouse Detective and Fox and the Hound those three are criminally underrated and they deserve more recognition and love ❤️ Great Video As Always Ms Mojo And I can’t believe that A Goofy Movie is underrated cause it’s soundtrack is a Bop!! and I Absolutely Adore This Movie Powerline Rocks!!! and love Goofy and Max’s father and son relationship 😊
Seriously? Ok, well some are understandably 'low' but I LOVED these movies. I grew up with Fox and the Hound, Oliver and Company, The Princess and the Frog, Brother Bear, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and many others. Man, those were the 'best days'!
The Golden Age’s Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo and Bambi are timeless classics The Wartime Era’s Saludos Amigos, The Three Caballeros, Make Mine Music, Fun and Fancy Free, Melody Time and The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad make kids feel better with much needed comfort of heart and laughter The Silver Age’s Cinderella, Alice In Wonderland, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp and Sleeping Beauty are gorgeous movies in the color of blue backgrounds The Bronze Age’s 101 Dalmatians, The Sword in the Stone, The Jungle Book, The Aristocats, Robin Hood, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, The Rescuers, The Fox and the Hound, The Black Cauldron, The Great Mouse Detective and Oliver & Company are a hit and a miss but they are fun to watch, even if they’re an underrated gem The Disney Renaissance’s The Little Mermaid, The Rescuers Down Under, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Mulan and Tarzan are the best of its songs, villains and wonderful cast of colorful characters Post Renaissance Era’s Fantasia 2000, Dinosaur, The Emperor’s New Groove, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Lilo & Stitch, Treasure Planet, Brother Bear, Home On the Range, Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons, Bolt and The Princess and the Frog have received mixed reviews but it has comedy and can give a message The Revival Era’s Tangled, Winnie the Pooh, Wreck-it Ralph, Frozen, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, Moana, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Frozen II, Raya & The Last Dragon, Encanto, Strange World and Wish took us by storm of great storytelling, amazing comedy and earning awards
top 15 1) Treasure Planet 2) Atlantis: The lost empire 3) The Rescuers Down Under 4) The great mouse detective 5) The Hunchback of Notre Dame 6) The Emperor's new groove 7) Hercules 8) The Fox and the Hound 9) The Princess and the Frog 10) Pocahontas 11) Tarzan 12) Brother Bear 13) Robin Hood 14) Raya and the last dragon 15) Bolt

Anastasia isn’t a Disney movie. It was made by 20th Century Fox. However, Disney owns it now.
I love Tarzan. Not only that Tarzan is handsome and the movie has heart and adventure but it’s the soundtrack by Phil Collins
It was also one of the levels you played in Kingdom Hearts.
When I was little, my dad laughed his butt off
Brother Bear is my favorite Disney movie ever and i think it's the most underrated ever. I hope everyone sees it one day. It really touches your heart.
The ending song for Meet the Robinsons is a tear-jerker 😭 same with I’m Still Here from Treasure Planet! What beautiful movies and songs!
It's amazing how ahead of her time Meg was.
"You know men. They think 'no' means 'yes' and 'get lost' means _'take me, I'm yours!'"_
The master detective Basil Mouse was my absolute favorite precisely as The Little Mermaid. 🥰
They were the two, I could watch again and again,
knew the whole script and all the songs on.
And I watched them so much,
that I don't know how many VHSs we were content to buy because the films were completely worn out. 😅
Rattigan is one of the most terrifying Disney villains. Voiced by wonderful Vincent Price.
Very wonderful
I feel like he's one of the best Disney villains too!
It’s a shame that The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Treasure Planet are on this list. I grew up watching these films constantly and I still do
20- The sword and the stone
19- The black cauldron
18- Oliver & company
17- The fox and the hound
16- Tarzan
15- Wreck-it Ralph
14- Raya and the last dragon
13- The great mouse detective
12- The princess and the frog
11- Hercules
10- Robin Hood
9- The rescuers down under
8- The emperor's new groove
7- A goofy movie
6- Lilo and stitch
5- Atlantis the lost empire
4- Meet the Robinsons
3- Brother bear
2- Treasure planet
1- The hunchback of notre dame
I’ve noticed the more *intelligent* the film the more underrated. Examples: Brother Bear, Tarzan, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Meet The Robinson’s, Hunchback, Pocahontas, A Goofy Movie, The Princess & The Frog, etc. Also characters beautifully written like Nani, Lilo & Anna are underrated by characters that are chaotic or pretty like Stitch & Elsa. Look at Anna she was underrated by Elsa for ice powers & a catchy song for years!
Got it right
Speaking of voice casts in Disney movies, from 1937’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to 1977’s The Rescuers might be well known but hardly mentioned. From 1981’s The Fox and the Hound to 2022’s Strange World are loaded with great stars that are in a lot of movies and brings the magic
God I swear people forget how good the use of both hand drawn animation and cg was used in Tarzan it’s so good
Oliver and Company's Sykes is one of my favorite villains. That's the case for one simple reason: 10 years after first watching it I realized how vile he is and what he's actually saying, and how realistic his character is.
And McLeach's first apperance... that truck jumping out from the trees... that never left my mind. I still hear it today.
The Fox and the Hound. A movie about friendship. I heart it even with a young Corey Feldman
FYI, these underrated gems have won awards
One quarter of these movies are the ones that I grew up watching. My Personal Favorite has always been “Brother Bear” (2003). I will forever love it.
Oliver & Company is still one of my favorite Disney animated movies outside of the 90's Renaissance
As 59’s Disney movie, Raya and The Last Dragon is awesome. Cool storytelling, great animation and great voice cast. I have a TukTuk stuff animal and my mom has a Sisu stuff animal
I wound up writing a fanfiction on it.
I have plush of them, too.
Robin Hood and The Emperor's new groove were amongst my favourites as a kid! "WRONG LEVERRR!" was a quote we still regularly recall to this day lol.
Speaking of Tarzan, Glenn Close is the only Disney actress I got a autograph from
16:33 IM SO GLAD THIS IS HERE I fell in love with this movie again after 2021 and the soundtrack slaps Roxanne is a cool character.
It’s still great animated though!😇
These animated Disney films may be underrated, But at least a lot of them are underrated classics! And to think people like Floyd Norman had a hand in bringing some of these films to life.
#1 was my favorite! Hellfire is still one of the darkest villain songs to date.😳🔥
Atlantis was a pretty terrible film but Treasure Planet was a film I enjoyed immensely
Treasure Planet came out at the worst time possible
@@nuckerball1259 Came out same time as Chamber of Secrets and the last Pierce Brosnan James Bond movie.
Brother Bear has been in my personal top 5 ever since I was a kid. It deserves more love!
For the record, Atlantis: The Lost Empire is the very first Disney movie I saw in theaters at a young age.
My mom doesn’t remember but I do. Growing up, I’ve been seeing more Disney movies by myself and with an addition of red hair. I’ve been a brunette for 23 years and now I get to be a red hair for an AWSM 2 Years and I love it
Treasure Planet is truly an amazing movie and needs more love! Please support it also my fav character is Captain Amelia (straight up girlboss)
I can give 3 Million Reasons WHY I love Disney. Number One, my love for it will never die
When I was a kid, my friend Justin would sing along to A Goofy Movie. I love memories
I did not see Dinosaur (2000) >:(
The movie "treasure planet" should have become a series because of Jim's past and the voyage to see what else the ship stopped at for supplies and extra. Also the quotes in the movie are true of what people do in life and it's also what I'm going through as well so this movie has a special place in my heart like the other movies I've seen on this top 20
finally,my beloved Brother Bear made it into one of your lists!
Lilo and Stitch isn’t underrated. Stitch is practically everywhere
I don’t know if I’d call Wreck-It Ralph underrated, it seems to have quite a good amount of recognition.
I’ve been watching these movies on Disney +! I used to have them on VHS as a kid! I also still have some of them on DVD!
#1 and #2 happen to be my favorite Disney movies of all time.
I'd have put Ralph Breaks the Internet and Strange World on the list. Both of them get lots of hate, but they both tell surprisingly sophisticated stories with lots of creativity and heart.
Ralph Breaks the Internet has a special spot in my heart, I think all the cameos made the movie so hated but the story of Ralph being so attached to someone and insecure of himself without a loved one is so true, as well as Vanellope trying to change her life 😅
Out of 20, there's 19 on this list I love. Just cements my love of the underrated things. Treasure Planet, Hunchback, all of them.
I was born when Mulan came out, my brother’s birth year is The Little Mermaid, my sister’s birth year is The Great Mouse Detective, my mom’s birth year is The Aristocats and my dad’s birth year is The Jungle Book
Here’s what I can say about Disney Sequels;
They are a Cherry of anyone’s childhood.
Having the movie a PG rating doesn’t do anything except giving hellish imagery since the 1980’s
For The Hunchback of Notre Dame in 1996, it holds the seven deadly sins but it’s more on the villain Judge Claude Frollo, who has lust for the beautiful Esmeralda. He has one heck of a villain song, Hellfire. The song might not be for kids but it shows how bad he is
My 3 all time favorites are on this list, Tarzan, Fox and The Hound, and Sword in the Stone!
Wow, u literarily named my 3 fav Disney Movies. Agree 100%
Seriously? Ok, well some are understandably 'low' but I LOVED these movies. I grew up with Fox and the Hound, Oliver and Company, The Princess and the Frog, Brother Bear, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and many others. Man, those were the 'best days'!
The Golden Age’s Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo and Bambi are timeless classics
The Wartime Era’s Saludos Amigos, The Three Caballeros, Make Mine Music, Fun and Fancy Free, Melody Time and The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad make kids feel better with much needed comfort of heart and laughter
The Silver Age’s Cinderella, Alice In Wonderland, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp and Sleeping Beauty are gorgeous movies in the color of blue backgrounds
The Bronze Age’s 101 Dalmatians, The Sword in the Stone, The Jungle Book, The Aristocats, Robin Hood, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, The Rescuers, The Fox and the Hound, The Black Cauldron, The Great Mouse Detective and Oliver & Company are a hit and a miss but they are fun to watch, even if they’re an underrated gem
The Disney Renaissance’s The Little Mermaid, The Rescuers Down Under, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Mulan and Tarzan are the best of its songs, villains and wonderful cast of colorful characters
Post Renaissance Era’s Fantasia 2000, Dinosaur, The Emperor’s New Groove, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Lilo & Stitch, Treasure Planet, Brother Bear, Home On the Range, Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons, Bolt and The Princess and the Frog have received mixed reviews but it has comedy and can give a message
The Revival Era’s Tangled, Winnie the Pooh, Wreck-it Ralph, Frozen, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, Moana, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Frozen II, Raya & The Last Dragon, Encanto, Strange World and Wish took us by storm of great storytelling, amazing comedy and earning awards
top 15
1) Treasure Planet
2) Atlantis: The lost empire
3) The Rescuers Down Under
4) The great mouse detective
5) The Hunchback of Notre Dame
6) The Emperor's new groove
7) Hercules
8) The Fox and the Hound
9) The Princess and the Frog
10) Pocahontas
11) Tarzan
12) Brother Bear
13) Robin Hood
14) Raya and the last dragon
15) Bolt
13:58 I had completely forgotten about that movie
If you look closely in one scene of Great Mouse Detective you’ll see Sherlock Holmes and Watson talking or rather their shadows.
I beg to differ. I watched The Great Mouse Detective ALL the time when I was a kid. 100% at both my parents home.
That is indeed very underrated… except for a few movies… like Tarzan and Wreck-It Ralph for example!
This channel has always been the best. We wish them well.
