Happy Saturday! I’ve got some news in this video and I’m so excited to take you along with me on this new journey ✨
Great video!
being a protégé at 19 is amazing. but being a scholar at 27 who has clear intentions on why they want to start learning art is incredible and inspiring. you have years of experience behind you and years of potential ahead of you! now you aren't scared of failing anymore, you've gone past that. now, there is only the passion to create and enjoy learning for you and you alone. there is no pressure to turn to art as your only means of survival because you know you're in university out of pure love and passion for the arts.
Yes! Very well said! ❤️ thank you so much! I’m so excited for this fun art journey and can’t wait to share more!
Love you
you've made very good points!
A reminder that Alphonse Mucha didn't begin his study until he late 20s, Walt Disney didn't complete his fist film until he was almost 40, Todd McFarland recieved upwards to 700 rejections before he got a job as a comic boon artist Grandma Moses didn't start painting until she was 77.
As long as you can do it, nothing is stopping you.
Very well said! ❤ can’t wait to share more of my art journey!
never too late. im in my 40s and still learning about art daily.
Amazing! I love that! 🥰
OMG!! I started studying art at 28! I feel like Im finally in my right position. Apart from gaining the knowledge & skills, my confidence enhanced. I'm free from all the labels and limitation that came from the society, my family and myself. It truly somewhere I belonging. I love my classmates, we are at different ages and background and that's why we keep inspiring each other. Sometimes I regret not to study Art earlier, but I think it is just right for me. As I have already built up myself enough and have more life experience ( stable and mature enough, ready for any situation). It is easier for us to come up idea and issue we wanna talk about when it comes to time-limited artwork/assignments.
I love this so much! 🥰 thank you for sharing your experience! I’m so excited to see where our art journeys takes us!
One of my good friends I met in cosmetology school was 28 at the time, I was 18. She is so inspiring and doing incredible work in high end places. I can remember how awkward she was to hold a comb and scissors at first ❤
Ahhh I love to see people going for what they want! 🥰
Ι'm 34, studying art in my country required passing some really demanding live painting exams, I failed 2 times in my 20s, so I studied something else. But I never stopped painting. Last year I gave the exams and passed, I am studying art now and I feel like it's the first time I 'm in the right place ❤
I love this! So excited for your art journey!
I'm 21, just finished my biology undergrad and am currently on a graduation to get my masters on molecular biology. But going to art school is one of my dreams, and you made me sooo inspired to still do it someday in the future, thank you ❤
Congrats on the upcoming graduation! Hope you get to achieve your dream soon too! 🥰
Watching your joy at going back to college got me emotional. I’m so happy for you pursuing your dreams.
Thank you! I can’t wait to bring you for the whole journey as I get more comfortable going to class and improving my art 🥰
I joined a watercolor class at the local art museum! We get open studio time as well! Here’s to those of us pursuing art in our mid/late 20s!
Yes!🙌 enjoy your art journey as well!
Went to Art school at 30. It’s never too late. Just have clear goals in mind and enjoy the process
Thank you, I will!
I'm 30 and finishing art school soon ❤
That’s exciting!! 😍
I've been coming across several engineers who are leaving their engineering career to start their art journey here on UA-cam. I guess a lot of us were gaslighted into thinking that pursuing art was not a valid career option if we wanted to make a living and not starve. I know I certainly was lol
Anyways, the drawing class looks fun! Hope everything goes great! 🙌
Thank you so much! 🥰
It’s scary to go off the “usual” path but I’m still excited to see where this art journey takes me
This is so exciting!!! Go Dany!! 🎉 I’m also 27 and never finished art school, but I’ve been contemplating going back. This is encouraging, maybe soon. Hope you have fun!
Thank you! 🥰
I admire your determination and dedication to pursue art. It is never too late to do the thing that brings you joy. I’m 54 and I have recently decided to do the same. I am going all in to pursue my dream to be an artist. When you bet on yourself then you can’t ever go wrong. I look forward to following you on your journey.
Thank you so much! ☺️ I wish you all the best too!
Last year, early this year I took an oil painting class: 16 weeks, 3 hour classes after a full day of working. It was exhausting but a lot of fun. I learned a lot.
For me it was 26/27 years since I last was in a true school setting, not counting 1 or 2 day trainings through my work.
It was invigorating and it gave me so many ideas and confidence.
Yes yes yes!! So happy to see you pursuing your passion even after a long day of work! It’s so inspiring to me to see how you went through it! 💕
@@daisydanyart l loved it so much, the smells of the classroom, the well-loved easels with years of paint blobs. I’m sure you’re going to be so happy in the long run you made the decision to pursue your dreams as well.
I’ve always viewed my art as a hobby, but with the little bit of extra knowledge, I even finally dared to post my own videos. I’m not as brave as you, keeping my day job.
@@_JoyceArtI hope you are able to achieve your dreams too! And who knows I might even need to take a part time job after I use my savings but it’s okay I’m ready to take life as it comes 😊
and I did at 30. It's never too late to do things you love !
Love that! 🥰
Oh my gosh, I absolutely love you. I was just getting ready for bed, putting on some vids to watch on YT on my tv & ur vid popped up on my recommendations, and literally that title brought immense comfort, that I had to just grab my phone and comment. I’m 27 as well, and will be returning back to college to pursue another degree. I felt guilt and anxiety about it, but your vid is seriously putting my mind at ease. Ugh can’t commence how much I appreciate this
I’m so excited to hear you pursuing a new degree! 27 is just a number, let’s both go for what we want in life! ☺️
I started design school at 25. It such a wonderful experience to meet like minded people with similar interests. And there were a lot of adult students too. I wasn’t alone in that journey but I made connections with younger students too. Plus art professors are magical people. 😂
That sounds amazing! I’m so happy for you!
Dont think about the age. Just enjoy the process we are alive, got the zeal, and are inspired from within and that's what matters.
Thank you! 😊
Hey Soo proud of you! Follow your heart and your dreams! All that happens happens for good! Oh I follow Valerie as well!
And I loove spring and its soo pretty at your side!
Enjoyy to the fullest and keep smilin 🙂✌️
I went back to school for fashion design at 28. You are still so very young!
This is so brave of you. I'm very impressed. I want to go into art, but haven't (already in college). But I love watching this. I can live vicariously through you 😇
Thank you! 🥰 I hope I’m able to inspire you through this journey. I believe there’s no such thing as a normal timeline as we each doing our best! 💕
This is so inspiring and amazing. The comments section here is such a charming place. I am 25 and doing my post grad at the moment. There are lot of things going on my mind like what if I don't graduate on time, what if I don't succeed and what if I have to start something new again..I mean it's full of what ifs that by the end of the day I am burnt out with just thinking. But special thanks to the comment section for being such rays of hope:)
Wishing you all the best for your new class!!!🎉❤❤
I love seeing your excitement about taking art classes! Your joy is infectious :)
🥰🥰
I'm an educ student, incoming third year, and although I don't have any regrets with my chosen program, I still want to pursue my dream of becoming a full-time artist in the future. It has always been my dream to study fine arts, but I want to save money first to support myself. It feels nice to see people who achieves things I want to achieve for myself.
That’s a smart choice too! I basically did what you did for the first 2-3 years of my work life and worked to afford doing art on the side. Now I’m giving full time art a try and let’s see where it takes me.
All the best in your journey as well!
@@daisydanyart omg thank you! I really hope it goes well for the both of us and everyone in here who goes through the same situation 💗
I wish you so much luck and fun with art school! 😁👍
I got all these materials beginning of the semester and now the spring semester is about to finish. good luck!!! it was super fun. Surely you will do a great job.
Thank you! 🥰
This is so exciting 💙
yayyy a new vlog :D Dhanisha you never disappoint! i’m so excited for you with this new art class
Good luck with the art classes, etc., although it seems like you already know a bunch of the concepts they'll cover. There's always new stuff to learn, but please check back with us on how much was new to you and how much was rehash. You might want to find a book ladder now that you have books on top of the book shelf. Also, what's up with all those old National Geographics, and how far do they date back?
All those books are basically my partner’s collection 😅 he loved collecting them as a kid
Omg! Congratulations and I’m so excited for you, girl! Your videos really inspire me to continue with my art as well.
Thank you! 🥰
Thank you for yet another wonderful vlog; your story has inspired me to stay headstrong on my track to be an artist. All you’re videos are so insightful, calming, and just fun to watch! Stay passionate in your craft; I’m rooting for you👏👏👏
Thank you! Wish you all the best in your art journey! 🥰
I went back to school for graphic design at 56 years old. I graduated 2024 and I’m doing my bachelor in illustration. Good luck to you.
Amazing! So glad to see you pursue what you want!
I loved this video! How interesting that art class looks, I'm sure you're gonna enjoy it so much! And I also got that Valerie Lin Artprint 😍 I did introduction ceramic lessons as a birthday gift for a friend and I totally recommend it, it's so much fun and relaxing, you're gonna love it!
Thank you! 😊 I’m definitely gonna try out a ceramics class in the future then!
I think this is a sign for me not to worry about pursuing art kind of late. I just finished first year of pharmacy and I thought it wasn't for me so I'm deciding to take a gap year then shift to multi media. I got worried that I might not fit well with the rest of my peers who may be like 2-3 years younger than me but y'know what? who cares ! Wish you well on your art school journey and looking to forward to mine as well !
Very well said! Glad you did the shift and I wish you well on your art journey as well! 😊
It is never late to learn new things. Just do your best at your art school. Best of luck🌸
This is soooo sooooo freaking cool! Thank you for sharing your journey, it's so inspiring. May I ask which class are you taking and whereabouts do they offer it?
As a fellow Seattle girly of a similar age, this is so nice to see. I've been wanting to do an art class for a long time, so it's really inspiring to see others do it past the average undergraduate age.
Omg another Seattle girly!! Hi! 🥰 so happy you enjoyed this vlog! Can’t wait to share more of my art journey!
I'm 37 this year and I just start painting 😂😅
It’s never too late!
beautiful message at the end of the vid, this was so inspiring thx you for sharing!!
So happy you liked it! 🥰 can’t wait to share more of my art journey!
I hope it goes well, this is so exciting!! 🥰
Thank you!!
This is just incredible...I admire your determination and progress
Thank you!
Looks like fun! Looking forward to more :)
Thanks!
THIS IS SO EXCITING!!!!
Thank you! 🥰

Hello Dhanisha! I been watching you for a couple months ago and i love your landscapes, you inspire me to break my fear of painting nature. I wanted to say to you that is never late to chase your dreams. For me art is my oxygen and i decided i want it to be my life, i am going to start in an art collage (got accepted yesterday!) I pray that our journeys in art bring happiness to our path.

Have you ever heard of A.O.HamertheArtist? She’s works in Seattle, has a UA-cam channel where she talks about her life learnings as an artist and human, and takes viewers to her studio, gallery set ups and the like.
Thank you! 😊 I’ll definitely check her out
As long as you did something else beforehand, it's okay. Never too late to invest in yourself and your future :)
Yes! 🥰
I started my Law degree journey at 30. I already had a Graphic Design degree but I felt somewhat unfulfilled. Was it late compared to my classmates who were 10+ my juniors? Perhaps. Was it too late? Absolutely not.
Love this! 🥰
Your footage is so crisp..how do you shoot your videos ?
Was looking for some art videos and came across your channel among others. And then... I recognised that Mauritian accent and went to check your website to try to confirm my impression 😁MANZ AR LI 💪
Wow, this is the First Video of yours, that I‘m watching and I love it 😍

Gonna Watch some more Videos now 😏🤩

Can you do a home tour 😌because I so excited to see your home😍
❤❤❤❤❤
if you have a background in engineering and enjoy art you should try architecture!
I started at age 31!! 😊
🎨🎨🎨🎨🎨
I am 22 and I am a 1st year masters student (MA English) but for the past few months I’ve been thinking about changing my stream to MA Public Policy. I feel so confused and I don’t know what to do. Should I go with my plan or not because the thing that scares me the most is that if I change my stream, then I will only finish my education at the age of 25 and by that time most of my friends and classmates would have already gotten a job and I am just scared that I will be left behind 😕 [BTW thank you so much for sharing this video with us. I am happy that you are doing what you love the most. This video was beautiful and I loved watching it 🩷]
I thought as much... You feel so much like Valerie Lin
Basssssssssssssssssssssss 🔥
congrats to join art fild
Your home is lovely…do you own it?
What school is this?
Frist🎉
Hi! 👋 🌸
no worry my mom told me it was too late when I was 17 😂
Why would that be too late? 😂😂It’s not like you’re doing anything physically demanding like trying to be a ballerina at 27 or something .
reminder to women that you don't stop being a human at 30 :)
yayyy a new vlog :D Dhanisha you never disappoint! i’m so excited for you with this new art class
Thank you!!🙏
