Hi Han! Do you recommend any place for ux challenges to work on while we’re applying? I’m looking into this right now and could really use your help. Thank you queen!

Ah I hadn’t seen this til now Joselyne! I believe there’s a book by Artiom Dashinsky named “Solving Product Design Exercises: Questions & Answers” that Christine Chun shared. Hope that helps!

This video was helpful, I've never heard of adplist but I will sign up and try to network even more. I'm a new grad here in Toronto seeking for a job in this field, but it's been quite difficult. Thanks for your insight!

Hi Han! It's such an encouraging video. :) I found you through one of Femke's office hour episodes and thought you have many great insights to share. As a sole designer in a startup company (and this is my first official product designer job), I feel a lot of imposter syndrome and that I can't handle a project at such a scale. But meanwhile, it's challenging to find the next gig. Thanks for your tips and words!

When things feel overwhelming to me, I just think about the first one or two steps ahead. Think about your position right now and what are one or two MUST DO's to push the product design in your company? and focus on that. You got this!

@@HanBang Great point! I sometimes feel it has something to do with the comfort level with ambiguity. That overwhelming feeling for me comes from seeing too many paths in front of me. But focusing on the MUST instead of the MAYBE definitely will give me an anchor point to focus on.

@@violettej5965 just want to normalize this feeling, it’s called analysis paralysis. The paradox of too many choices making it hard for us to make a choice. I’d say give yourself permission to make mistakes because you will end up learning lots.
