Thanks for sharing. Just resealed my aggregate concrete driveway today for the first time and used your tips to store the sprayer. I used xylene to clean everything. Worked well.

This is an excellent video and explanation of how to take care of the sprayer.
Mine has a stiff hose and I do not know why it is so stiff. It sprays nicely, but the brown hose is very stiff.
We've noticed the same thing with that brown hose. I don't know of any way to soften it long-term. The easiest thing would be to change it out for the black hose, that one doesn't seem to stiffen up like the brown one. I'll leave a link to the page on our website for the black hose. Thanks for watching!!!!!

Is he using a Chapin extreme?
@@bg4097 The one in the video is an extreme. But, if the sprayer has a brown hose out of the box, it's not an extreme; it's probably the 1949 Icon. Thanks for watching!!!
Good info. Any special consideration for Water based products?
Great video. One question - if I am putting on 2 coats of acrylic sealer, do I need to clean out the sprayer after the first coat while it dries, to avoid the sealer from clogging the sprayer? As I understand it, we need to wait 30 minutes or so between coats.
Thanks
Cleaning between coats is always the safe thing to do. However, in most cases setting the sprayer in the shade will still be fine after 30 minutes.
Hi I need help in spray nozzle . When I am applying sealer its leaving streaks both side of spray fan. Any suggestions please thanks
This happens over time. Try to soak it in solvent overnight, and clean it the next morning. You can also try our Tee-Jet tip www.deco-cretesupply.com/products/sprayers/chapin-tee-jet-nozzle
Hard to see in the video what brand “Bubble Gum Release Agent,” you’re using. Can you please suggest one?
The liquid release in this video was from Deco-Crete, I'll leave a link at the bottom. Thanks for watching!!! www.deco-cretesupply.com/products/releases-vertical-concrete/deco-liquid-release
I have what looks like the same tank from Farrell supply company however it has a different sprayer on the end. Anyways I’m going to seal my chimney with Loxon lx31t0040. The guy at the sherwin Williams where I bought the sealer said to use paint thinner to clean the sprayer. However the directions on the sprayer says to only use water to clean it? I doubt water is going to actually clean it. Will paint thinner ruin it though?
The solvents mentioned in the video will clean out any solvent-based sealer and be safe on the sprayer👍
if u use Xylene to clean it how should u take the xylene out?
it is good to cycle some of xylene through the hose then just dump the rest out
@@DecoCreteTV is it okay if i rinse it out with water at the end?
@@Socceredits675 no, no water required
How can i remove the cilinder?
lock the handle and turn it counterclockwise. if stuck, insert a rod in the handle eye and use it for leverage.
What sealer you use
We use innovative manufacturing one that one is a little thick what u think its gonna work on this pump??
