The Metastatic Evangel proliferate effects and the Hardened scales effects really work to create a powerful combination, and the opponents really have to be scratching their head; I know I felt the same way when I faced agains this commander as well, cheers!
Soma amazing cards to consider in the EDH build will be inquisitor's flail, Sylvan library, Sol Ring; and really not much more, so there ya go!
