@@JarrodArceeBlake Oh yeah I 'member. Cavill had left because of a possible return as Superman, only to be "let go" again with an uncredited cameo in the post-credits for "Black Adam" being the only thing we'll ever see from Superman's "return".

Steppenwolf getting decapitated in the Snyder Cut was the first to pop into my head. Not the most brutal sure, but still left a mark
The writers confirmed that Zod deliberately provoked Superman into killing him, as he believed that he no longer had a purpose in life, and thus wanted to die after his plan to rebuild Krypton failed.

No lie the Board of Directors scene flat out scared me when I first saw Shazam in theatres, just goes to show how great Mark Strong is at playing villains.

Steppenwolf deserves a honorable mention. Got his a$$ whooped by Clark, then got his armor broken, got his horn clipped and then after one flying punch gets his head decapitated only to be crushed by Darkseid

When i saw the caption, i thought it was about the animated movies, but you meant it in the CGI way. Some of these scenes have cool designs. Number 8 was the one that broke the internet, number 7 was amazing seeing Starro for the very first time in CGI, number 6, whoa, imagine how could've been. Number 1 was unexpected in every way.

That scene in Shazam reminded me of the scene from Spider Man 2 where Doc Ock kills all the doctors trying to remove his cyber arms

These death scenes were intense! I feel so bad for the innocent victims!🙁 They didn't deserve it! Also, when the title said "Animated", I thought there would be some cartoons. It's alright. I've seen "Batman vs. Superman" and "Aquaman". They're great movies. I wish Superman didn't have to do this.

DC, as a brand, deserve better and on some level in their thick heads, the Warner Bros executives know this. And with Gunn confirming that DC Studios is practically separate from executive input, gives me the sigh of relief I needed for eight years!

I know this was considering the Snyderverse, but if we were counting DC films outside that (i.e Joker, The Batman, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Burton's Batman movies), Randall's death and Murray's death in Joker and the mayor's and the DA's deaths in The Batman I thought were also brutal

Correction and spoiler: it was joker who killed lois not Darkseid he already had his black suit on pay attention to that detail you'll see he was injustice superman who sided with Darkseid and now is the general/ ruler of earth after that so the vision with batman dying was an alternate universe
