I just made this drink, adding simple syrup makes the sweet hint which is good. I used kaluha instead and dry shaked the cream, used kaluha coffee grounds garnish ( just a bit). I love your vids!!
If i use a less sweet coffee liqueur like mr black or my homemade one i like to add a little simple syrup to the cream before whipping so you have the contrast of mild sweet cream and spicy dark roasty coffee
Yeah, that Simple is necessary using Mr. Black. The coffee flavor is so much better than Kahlua, but it's much drier. I really want to switch it up and use dark rum, almond milk, and nutmeg atop the cream.
I do it with Spanish "licor café" which is made with orujo (similar to grappa, or marc), instead of Australian wheat vodka like Mr.Black. Not having access to Mr.Black, could you give me a hint on its taste?
i remember when fellow youtuber howtodrink surmised that the khalua version is much better. i don't know if his previous version contained mr black or not.
Yeah It’s be a much different drink as the khalua is rum based. Honestly I think the best coffee liqueur in this drink is Cafe Lolita which is another Mexican coffee liqueur and it’s a banger
This is so much cream, I can't imagine how many calories are in even one white russian like that... Probably somewhere in the 500 calories range, which is 1/4-1/5 of most people's daily maintenance caloric intake
it's more like 350 calories as it calls for only 2 oz of cream. also i only make these with whole milk so it's actually way less and it more than "works" and still tastes amazing.
Your cream whipping trick with the squeeze bottle and coil has made my White Russians so much better, my god
Seen loads of these vids… this is the best!
Careful man, there’s a beverage here!

Aaaaand then I watched the Dominicana video...
😂
Can we get a tutorial using khalua though?
@@erasyoung3131 even easier, doesn't even need syrup, just vodka and liqueur
The dude would not be fancy enough to put the chocolate shavings on top, but I think he would still approve of and like it! The dude abides!
Great looking and tasty drink.
Thanks for the vid bro 👶 🥃

What rum would you substitute there for vodka?
The White Russian = My first legal drink!
Tbh I think they taste better shaken.
Why simple syrup? I'd say coffee liqueur is sweet enough
Nah this particular one needs a little simple syrup other coffee liqueurs have more sugar
"I want people buying Boo Berry."
*Proceeds to buy every box of Boo Berry*
If you were using Kahlua would you still add the simple syrup?
No. Khalua is very sweet

Which one?

@@TheEducatedBarfly i'll have to try that one out!
I don't think Greg added simple syrup to compensate for not using Khalua that this TEB does. Mr. Black is amazing and not as syrupy.
@@Twobitsteak been trying to get my hands on mr black for a long time. can't get it in canada as far as i know.

500kcal in a drink lol do you know how much that is? No way it’s 500kcal

also, you haven't taken into account that for someone like the dude, it's also his entire daily sustenance.
I think if you're worried about calories in your alcoholic fun drinks, you're doing it wrong.
