Cultural appropriation is such a touchy subject that it takes away almost everything that makes any cultural celebration enjoyable if you’re an outsider except ofcourse if you assimilate yourself into the culture by taking part from it with best of intentions and by then there are still many factors that can still affect the views of other people. At the end of the day, appreciating and enjoying anything related to anyone’s culture must be a very intimate way of connecting to someone else’s roots by partaking in its solemnity and apreciating its true essense.
Not really. Idk what u see as cultural appropriation if u think that because we today can call that out that means ppl can't celebrate/enjoy other cultures.
@@mazhiang_dishia_ you’re just proving my point. Anyone can definitely and will definitely call you out because they wanted to feel like they are correct and you on the other hand are wrong - CA has always been a big debate but if you truly wanted to know the culture and genuinely enjoy everything involves in it then even if you’re technically not part of that culture by blood but only by interest, you can say to yourself that you done no wrong. Though, this is just my opinion because I am not overly criticizing those people who are genuinely loving ones culture. But ofcourse everyone has their own opinion, that is why CA thing is one of those complicated topic that divides opinion and people.
@@JonnieR uh no?💀 I didn't prove ur point in any way, I literally just said "idk what u see as ca, but just because we can call it out nowadays that doesn't mean that ppl can't celebrate cultures". Culture appropriation shouldn't be a debate and it's not smth so hard to understand. This girl in the video literally just showed how u can correctly& respectfully celebrate someone's traditions without being an absolute brat. On the other hand, that guy Jake Paul (i think that's his name) is the person u can take as a no-no example to anything and especially when it comes to celebrating smth u don't have anything to do by blood (u can find out what happened with him in Japan). No normal human being is going to say that u support cultural appropriation because u wore a kimono especially if u did the whole process correctly and u didn't wear it just to make some money on 'gram. It's quite easy (imo) to spot cultural appropriation if u actually know what it is.

I don't know why it's a sensitive topic? What's there to get offended about except when there's disrespect?
I’m Mexican and proud I wish I could have the Patience for this I would go to the store and just get the closest thing to the crown 😂
