So weirdly enough, I had a theater sister like this when I was in my first shows. She was a junior when I was in 8th grade and basically adopted me and a couple others my age. Was she bitchy at times and get on our nerves? Yeah, totally. But she also helped us with our stage makeup and costumes so we stood out and were confident with ourselves. This video brought back a some good memories from being in theater, so thank you for letting me relive those nice moments in a way

I was a band kid in high school but the theatre classes were always right next door to the band room so I knew a bunch of theatre kids by proxy - and I knew a girl EXACTLY like this roleplay 😂

this reached into my soul and brought me DIRECTLY back to high school. i was in Grease, and i played Frenchy! i knew so many girls who were juniors AND seniors, hell even sophomores that were exactly like this. they always have this air of entitlement and know it all energy that i always hated. but this roleplay is fun and Oh Boy! it brings back good memories and honestly really speaks to me as an ex-dumbass theater kid omg

As a 10 year veteran techie in theatre and live events i can confirm some performers are like this, we light them Green to annoy them because its a horrid colour to stand under. I gave up the stage management though it was too stressful having to keep track of everything.
this is so fascinating. as someone that was in band, there's a lot that's quite similar in terms of culture, types of drama, audition types, etc. lol I feel like I've learned a lot from this video, it's now one of my favorites.
I did theater for years and I can confirm that using too much concealer is a requirement. Along with the “it’s so hard being the lead” lmao

She doesn't look toxic at all! I would actually love her a lot. Yeah she seems to like to be under the spotlight (literally) but she is really nice. It's not a common thing to help like this and being this nice specially before a show... I'm at the second year out of three in my theatre school and before a show everyone is so annoying and nervous that almost everyone will suddenly become really mean to anyone

In hs we had to choose either band, chorus, or theater, we couldn’t choose multiple because competitions might overlap. I chose band because I did it in middle school, but the way I know this girl would’ve “taken me under her wing” when I was 14 and I would just sit and take it like dude.
Also I love that I knew there would be shade towards wicked, les mis, and techies. This is amazing I love this

I’m a theater kid! I’ve definitely not been this girl lol, but I was good friends with someone almost exactly like this for a good bit of time before we just kinda drifted apart and she graduated.
She was always the lead for like everything though and I was super jealous of her for a while

Oh gosh this is bringing me back! I joined the theater department in my senior year and we did Beauty and the Beast(I was Monsieur D'Arque and a Gaston crony when a dancer was needed since we had so few boys in the cast). There was SO much petty drama like this. Mainly from my friend that did my makeup. You'd think being Mrs Potts was the end all be all lol Nevermind Belle drama!
