Great video series on this! Have you had any issues with vehicle functionality, and do you have any problems with the physical buttons on the bottom not working or staying lit after you push it off i.e. "eco" and "forward collision warning" lights?

Do you know anything about using this In a Durango SRT? I really want this but it wouldn't make sense if I lose my SRT performance pages.
Man I wish I knew, the newer unit may have the options for the performance pages, they don’t sell the unit I have anymore keep me posted.

Now Mopar sells a monthly wifi adapter you hook into the data port beow the steering wheel, like a hotspot.
man I need to I have a android phone that I have wifi running from so I don't have to worry about it, I need to get a wifi hotspot from Verizon.

Does carplay car bridge have an aspect ratio setting? the screen is 1280X, right?
honestly I don't know it is what ever the stock aspect is whenever I watch something on it which is rate it looks like UA-cam on the stock app.

yeah it may be one if you haven't upgraded since you installed it.

Just purchased a durango that has a Phoenix radio but no sound smh annnnnddd the a/c blows heat smh any advice
I would go into settings and factor reset it and see if there fixes the issue with the heat/ac as for the sound would make sure all the wires are correct in the rear.

Good video, What year is your vehicle? I have a 2012 Avalanche that I don't plan on getting rid of. I want to get one of these but all of the other reviews keep saying the customer support is not good. Whats your experience with their support?
2016, when I had issues when I first got it customer support was great they setup me an appointment and FaceTime me and walked me through upgrading and fixing my unit...I have heard some crazy stories though.

I'm not sure I would bet on it working more than it not because they build it for your vehicle, I would reach out and check. that is one thing I can say the reply before your purchase is on cue 😂

hey bro I have Waze but it doesn't work says I need internet connection. but I have my mobile hotspot on and still no connection... any idea on how to make it work?
You may have to update Waze and then restart it I know I have had the same issue before, or you may have to just reset the unit if Waze is up to date.
Did you have any bugs or issues with the unit?
One early in the backup screen would stay on but they fixed it with an update after I talked to someone from customer service.
Do the performance Pages still work?
mine don't have them, but I would assume so I still have access to everything I did before.

What is your Ram situation on this model . One I'm looking at has six core 64GB
I believe that is what mine is I'll have to double check, I know the newer versions are a little better that the one I have.

yeah mine is a 4gb ram 64gb fastboot unit, mine wasn't still running like the day I got it and I wasn't running a custom firmware I'd upgrade. well between that and not buying from Phoenix automotive again.

lighting cable and I was running it from the unit from one of the USB inputs from the unit but I have since run that cable to a fast charger and have it hanging there for my phone.
@@MrMartin405 did you have to run a split off the OEM usb connectors and is it on the always hot circuit in the center counsel? I've been thinking of doing something similar, connecting my phone with a shorter run.

yeah I ran it from the console and yeah it's always hot.

no it's pretty much plug and play, you shouldn't have any issues if it is built correctly I've been on both sides my unit has been fine for going on 3 years or so but I had a bunch of issues with a unit I was installing in an Escalade. 🤦🏾♂️ the units and the customer service more less the customer service it's horrible.

Yes.
You have to add another camera or is it the same one that comes with the car
it's the same one, my Durango didn't come with one so I had to install one but it will pop on factory or aftermarket if you select camera.

It’s wireless you should be able to turn Bluetooth on on your phone and WiFi I believe can’t remember which one it uses then go to the app on the stereo and it will connect I’ll make a video soon hopefully have it up by today early morning

It works, you can switch it on or off in the settings.

How did you hide the bottom bar? I figured out the top bar cannot get the bottom bar.
it should be in the same settings right under top bar.
@@MrMartin405 can you post a quick video? They had my radio all screwed up when it got to me and half the settings that should have been there weren't. Love the radio but seriously dislike the company so far

it comes factory with them staying on I used the feature to turn it off.
Gm...just got mine in , ???? Do you still have the navigatiin on the cluster , also I have 2 purplish, I tan , 1. Blue and one black connector on the rear, which is antenna, a d which one is factory GPS

Were you able to fix the Xbox issue??? I have the same problem the only device i was able to get going is my Google stadia controller connected thru the USB. So I can play cloud games with Google stadia only.
Yeah I was I just connected my Xbox controller through the USB port under the screen, but the other problem I am having is the Hotspot is not strong enough to run it to play my games on the screen...still trying to figure it out I'll post an update when I get it figured out 💯 percent
Can I play my ps5. And how can you I update my background???
You should be able to if it has cloud gaming, and I used a different launcher so I can use whatever background I want.

mine cost about $800 at the time but they have different opinions now.
I am not an android guy so please excuse my ignorance. How do you choose you launcher? I see a lot of people using px6. Is that considered a launcher.
in the playstore you have to download it from the Google playstore
How did you remove the top and bottom bar?
In the settings....I believe in the user settings.
