THIS Top 10 Ramlethal RUINS TOWER for FUN...

- MichaelWyng is currently the #9 ranked Ramlethal player on the Guilty Gear Strive Leaderboards.
They also farm rating on Millia.
MichaelWyng achieved this by abusing the tower system and mostly playing on Floor 10 to stomp lower-level players, ruining the game for newer players.
Unlike some other frauds MichaelWyng still bothers with doing the Celestial Challenge and dips in and out of Celestial frequently.
Their winrate in Celestial is slightly above average so they have no reason to stomp newer players other than farming rating and for their own ego.
In this video I will be going over their gameplay to showcase how much of a fraud this supposed #9 Ramlethal really is and showcasing some of their bigger shortcomings on Ramlethal as well as in their fundamentals.

If you don't want your gameplay on this channel let me know via the contact E-Mail on my Channel and I'll gladly remove it!
I won't respect the requests of fraudulent players, set your Rating to private and stop farming Floor 10 players for a fake placement.
All of the footage on this channel has been captured by me via the GGST tower replay system.

the edit of the ram dying to the wallbreak and flashing red was really sick
Thank you! I usually pour most of my time into 1 big edit for the intro but I've gotten good enough at it to where I can justify just putting a bunch of em into the video if I find nice situations for it!
ram in a pizza box is one of the best images ive seen. the editing was great on this one, especially in the intro!
Thank you!
@@GGSTFraudGameplay the intro was sick imo too!
Damn that baiken combo at the start was damn baller
JLY definitely knows where the sauce is at!
@@GGSTFraudGameplay Dude is telling the fraud "yo dude your washed up clean your pallet"
I am learning it immediately

I'm so stealing that baiken combo at the start. Knowing when you can do jd loops on the wall is so tricky
imma be real, my biggest fear with how im playing rn is ending up on this channel showcased as a fraud. 😭
Don't worry, I make sure that the players featured here go out of their way to farm rating on Floor 10!
Seems to me this isn't a hitpiece channel, the dude just goes for people with ridiculously high winrates
@@Sorrelhas Ridiculously high winrates + playing in F10 while being in celestial or having previously high winrates in celestial.
I make sure that the people I cover are beyond the shadow of a doubt rating farmers on Floor 10, no person thats "just good" or doesn't really feel like they belong in celestial etc. is ever gonna end up here.
You have to really slime your way to an incredibly high rating to make it here!
JLY didn't just wash this fraud, dawg straight up cooked the sauciest corner loop combo and turned the Ramlethal into a 5 star Michelin meal
Can you cover the recent bot that KizzieKay ran into on his stream? The bot was called "GG player" and it played Slayer. It was definitely 100% a script playing the game and not a person. There's probably more fraud bots out there, ruining rank for others.
I might do Videos on scripts in the future but I'm kinda on the fence about it because a lot of scripts are just really boring
@@GGSTFraudGameplay lmao
I love these videos so much because the tips tend to be universal. Knowing rounds tart options, risk reward with burst options, and just general game knowledge. It’s a whole host wonderful info all packed in a silly video about bozos☺️
What I've learned from this immediately is that burst should not be used on just any hit. It's a lot more than just avoiding a lot of damage, but about positioning as well. Since burst gauge itself has been nerfed this patch, it's more important then ever to identify what you should be using burst, and burst meter on.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
To add to this offensive usage of burst via wild assault is also incredibly important in a lot of matchups, like WWA users vs. ABA!
As someone who’s getting back into strive after a year and re-learning Ramlethal this video really is opening my eyes on how to play Ram and Guilty Gear better in general.Thank you for these videos they really do help people find mistakes in their gameplay through the mistakes of the frauds. Keep up the good work!
Seeing you consistently upload quality, straightforward, and informative videos such as this while improving is a sight to behold. Keep up the good work!
They’re also playing Hwite Ramlethal
Truly criminal
Its not even a second video starts and the ram got twittered....😂
My favorite part of this channel is how much you gas up the legitimate players. It's awesome to see all the positivity in videos that are inherently about a negative topic
I love how this can also be used as somewhat of a ramlethal tutorial
good job dude
Floor 10.5 ram here. This ram dropping so many conversions hurt to watch, and I'm honestly surprised they have 70% winrate in celestial.
awaiting patiently for Bridget's turn
I do wonder if there are actually frauds like this for every character; my expectation is that the people who want to do this would be more likely to pick characters with very belligerent gameplans. Not necessarily top tiers, though that's likely part of it, but definitely characters that just roll over you if your defense isn't up to snuff.
I HAD MY JAW ON THE FLOOR FOR THAT INTRO COMBO HOOOLY THAT BAIKEN DESERVES PRAISE
edit: After seeing the whole video i am VERY impressed by JLY's Baiken. Props to them, they made this matchup so enjoyable to watch!
They played this really well!
This was a really fun watch especially as a Ramlethal player, using her burst animation in place of a pizza was also funny it gave me a slight giggle
Man iam really surprised of how much game knowledge you possess and showcased in your videos. Helped me learn match ups for ky and I struggled less when the opp do certain buttons cause i now know how to deal with some of them. Thanks for the videos
I'm sure there's a joke to be made here somewhere comparing the running burger king joke and pizza ram to that one spongebob episode
I might take the username "Pizzaboxram" now. that made me laugh too hard haha.
that intro was awesome. shoutouts to the baiken
It'd be very interesting if someone would also investigate the many people who quit right before losing to farm rating on the tower. Been seeing that a lot lately. Used to be common for frauds doing the celestial challenge, but now people are doing it for fun, it seems.
that combo at the start was saucy holy shit
I didn't even know you could farm MR on floor 10. I just do the challenge every month and then play Celestial/open park.
Seeing this kind of video makes me realize how many holes I have in my character knowledge despite the fact that I've been playing it for well over 2 years. I admit that I don't dedicate enough time studying this game but I wish I could absorb these knowedge faster and get to celestial with my HC. I knew what's unsafe or not but there are so many knowledge checks that I never researched or forgot.
I gotta steal that Baiken combo it’s looks so sick
I don't play rank but I'd love for input. Probably gonna need to set up compilation vids for that to happen tho
Out of curiousity, how do you distinguish a "fraud" from just your average celestial challenger?
Is it that strange to challenge celestial, and then head on down to where you're more comfortable playing? What if they just really like playing in the tower and struggle to enjoy celestial?
Also, while these gameplay critiques are helpful for learning players, I wonder how much of these "mistakes" are a product of a difference in gameplay styles and mentality. I sure as hell don't care about being optimal or making the "right" decision, but I still manage to beat players who do. Is that fraudulent play?
I'm genuinely curious on your thinking process. I want to understand it.
I only cover people if I can verify that they do really well in celestial and don't really have any reason to play in Floor 10 consistently other than rating or ego.
I also make sure that the rating they have obtained is not really realistically obtainable unless they go out of their way to farm for such a high elo, usually that's in the 2000+ range.
This player is actually a prime example of this, their winrate in celestial, from all matches I could gather, is a stunning 70%.
That's actually really good, I'd be surprised if they are not comfortable while winning most of the time.
As for how much of these mistakes are a product of differing playstyle, that's definitely valid viewpoint to a certain degree but purposefully making bad decisions is not really something you'd expect from a player that goes out of their way to obtain and defend such a high placement, it's also not something I would recommend to anyone trying to improve.
There's a lot of ways to express your own playstyle, settling for consistently bad choices due to being able to balance the shortcomings out with other strengths will definitely lead you to a plateau in the long run, and if it's taken a while to get there the habits are going to be painstakingly tough to iron out but honestly that's nobody's business unless you're looking for advice to improve!
Just to clarify, none of this gameplay is fraudulent, their behavior is.
The reason I crack down on their gameplay this harshly is for showcasing that they are definitely not as good as their rating would have you believe as well as for educational and entertainment purposes.
That way I can not only pull attention towards this issue with the rating as well as the Tower system but also give some helpful information along the way.
@@GGSTFraudGameplay I see...
Thanks for your time, I think I've got a good understanding now. The strongest aspect of your videos is definitely in highlighting the weaknesses of a player's choices and showing ways to tighten up a poor gameplan.
Even if the tower wasn't so bad and exploitable, you could definitely still make an impact with those Viewer Reviews of yours. I can respect that.
Definitely!
The Viewer Reviews are here to stay and will be more common that the Fraud Reviews as well!
he doesn't distinguish shit, he hypercriticizes random honest player's decision making in a fast paced genre from the safety of his anonymous rat hole. the biggest fraud is this floor 7 channel
How to get a free shout out.

Step 2: act like an idiot the whole time

also, remember to look at inputs to tell what they tried to do
LETS GO BAIKEN IN THE BEGINNING (I love baiken lol)
Honestly you should make videos about counterplay for certain characters or sequences because I didn't know about a lot of the baiken stuff you mentioned and I'm definitely gonna use that info when I fight her
he uses my colour... this can't be...
lets go thanks for the ram tips and the tips for this match up, cheers 🤝
I don't know what was changed in the patch note, but Baiken is somehow better than Ramlethal at putting people in the corner.
The recent change didn't really change anything about ram, baiken got a considerable nerf tho because you can't RC parry anymore!
44 seconds ago is diabolical
damn i'm stealing that baiken combo
Holy shit that combo carried my ass to the flor 8
oh hey i play Ram so this is actually really useful. I was actually considering asking you to look at my replays but I just don't play really play tower enough for that.
I introduced two friends of mine to GGST and they both are in Celestial while I can't seem to make it out of floor 6 and I just constantly lose to them all the time.
Name on GGST is just "Xetsuma" I either play Millia or Ram.
I think I have played this ram before idk if I won or not but I 100% remember the name
GGST: Fraud Gameplay; for I have sinned (not the character). My lifelong friend, who also introduced me to fighting games in the first place, got the celestial challenge for the first time, and in a moment of weakness, I fell to sin (not the character). I offered a free entry into celestial, he 5-0'd my Chipp. As I was sitting there, watching him beat me up for free, I knew I did something horrible. I hope my attonment has somewhat clensed me of my sins, and I pray I nor my friend, ever end up on this channel. Amen and may Daisuke be with you.
I'd let a homie (and total strangers) into Celestial any day of the week, hope they keep up the grind and wash the next challenge, got a whole month to improve!
We're both Asuka mains, we'll fall to Sin (the character this time) anyways, one way or another.
How did you find my Ram alt smurf account!! >:CC

i love your channel so much
Thank you!
I hate that this fraud is better then me at Ramlethal.
Do you have any other youtube channels? I love your type of content. It reminds me of "LolDobby" or "Today on the Super Server" who are league of legends youtubers. That is a compliment btw lol.
I did have some incredibly small shortform content channels where I experimented with editing a bit but this is my first "proper" channel!
i wonder, are there any fraud asukas? if so it would be interesting to see you cover them
Asuka doesn't have as many high ranking frauds as simpler characters.
This goes for almost all high execution chars, most of them rarely have someone doing this above 2k rating.
I fought this guy yesterday!(and got whupped but we don't talk about that)
Ok what actually constitutes as a fraud if you don't mind me asking
people who keep playing against less experienced/newer players in floor 10 instead of playing people more closer to "their skill level" in Celestial, only so that they can punch down and farm wins.
@@nonchalant3331 thank you
After seeying so many frauds it makes me wonder: HOW ARE THEY GETTING TOP 10
People play the same character better then them on the same floor and yet they still manage to be higher ranking.
This usually comes down to plugging and carefully selecting your matches based on your opponents rating.
These high ratings are impossible to achieve by just playing on Floor 10 unless you go out of your way to slime your way to the top of the leaderboards through careful cherrypicking.
hold on, I may be insane, but I think I fought JLY before, the user name seems familiar at least, ggs if you see this
Hey, I'm a new player to Strive and I wanted to ask, what exactly makes a fraud a fraud? I'm not super familiar with the elo or the tower system I just know that if you win a lot you go up and if you lose you go down, I've been around Floor 7 so I don't exactly understand how you can exploit it.
By the way, the videos are very well edited and very informative.
Once you reach the celestial floor and win the celestial challenge you get to keep the celestial rank until the end of the month.
Unfortunately it's possible for celestial rank players to play on Floor 10.
People that do this specifically to grind for a high rating are what I'd consider to be "frauds", hope that helps!
@@GGSTFraudGameplay I see! That helps thank you!
So if you complete the challenge you can play on both Celestial and floor 10 or you can only play on Celestial once you complete the challenge so people opt to not do it to stay in rank 10 for easy wins? Also, what does the challenge consist of?
@@Eloxist Yeah if you beat the challenge you can play on both Floor 10 and Celestial.
For most players going back to Floor 10 makes no sense, the players I cover always have a really good winrate up in celestial as well, they only go back down to F10 to farm elo basically.
The challenge itself consists of 5-6 games in celestial, you need to win 5/6 games to get the rank, if you lose more than once you need to redo the challenge!
@@GGSTFraudGameplay That clears everything up! Thank you very much!
@@Eloxist Glad I could help!
I assume the many floor 10 games that JLY played was to fish out the ram player, because the baiken was already in celestial but decided to hover at floor 10
Any opinions?
Could have been that, I didn't give them the fraud label because their winrate and rating are not nearly as problematic as the ones of the people I cover.
Jack-0 video when 😢
Dude i am watching this as being new to GG. Coming from tekken and SF, this tower system on general seems really … dumb. Compared to just a standard ranked system. I am feeling as if arcsys just wanted to have something „different“ for the sake of it. And it allows annoying things like players farming floor 9 or 10 , and in general the problem of „how good or bad am I exactly“ . Its weird then you join a gg discord and people are unironically treating everyone below celestial as BEGINNER. Even tho floor 10 is one „rank“ below the max „rank“. If i have thing’s correct.
The problem with Floor 10 is that it really does house a huge amount of players, including beginners.
The gap between F10 and Celestial is really really big which is why a lot of people call not being able to win the Celestial challenge "Floor 10.5"
There's some hints that the next big patch might actually come with a new ranked system but we can only hope!
Teirlist video when? Am a very new player and would like a professional opinion
Honestly you should just play whoever you think looks cool, the game is currently incredibly balanced and unless you plan to show up at supermajors your characer choice will never hold you back!
@@GGSTFraudGameplayor be like me and pick the character based on how silly they are
@@Randomgalthe1st Good choice as well!
Play with the character that has the song you like the most! Training with a song you like is super motivating.
You can also not do it, the fact that the game allows you to choose between so many songs for combats and labbing seems great to me.
This guy makes Ram look hard to play
I don't understand the premise here. Why say they're a fraud for dropping in and out of celestial if your plan is to highlight what they do wrong? Maybe all the things they do wrong is why they drop out of celestial?
@@DukeCyrus You can't drop out of celestial, once you win the challenge (which they did on their first try at the very start of the month) you get to keep the rank until the end of the month.
They also have a 70% winrate up there so theres so real reason to play in F10 other than stomping newer players for elo.
With how many glaring issues there are in this person's gameplay it seems like they might just be really inconsistent with certain matchups or just inconsistent in general.
How do you prove that someone is a fraud? The rank history graph just looks like they have some bad strive days and some good strive days.
Their winrate in celestial is slightly above 70%, definitely solid enough to have absolutely no reason to play in F10 when they already won the challenge on their very first try this month. (right at the start as well)
The main way of proving they are frauds is the rating really, reaching over 2k rating is pretty much impossible if you're just regularly playing in Floor 10, even if you're crazy good (at which point you shouldn't be on Floor 10 anymore).
You gotta slime your way up there via stuff like cherrypicking games via rating checks, plugging etc.
question, have you considered making a discord?
I did actually think about that, might do that in the near future!
@@GGSTFraudGameplay that's great! i look forward to it!
No insult, but I fail to see the appeal of labeling people as a fraud. This is pretty standard gameplay unless you're a pro imo
No offense taken, you're free to disagree of course!
It's definitely standard gameplay, the point is that their rating (and who they played against to achieve that top level rating) is far from standard.
Being above 2.000 rating puts them in the Top 0.05% (on RatingUpdate), while there's still a massive gap between legitimate players on that level and Major Top8 candidates it's definitely high enough to where you'd expect at least decently skilled gameplay from them.
The fact that they are actually "only" slightly above average and only achieved their placement because they essentially smurf, ruining the experience for newer players is what makes them "frauds".
I beat a high level ram with aba (i didn’t even know how to use aba)
I am here. In the first hour. Call me goated
I'm not a fraud, but can you review my gameplay anyway? I wanna know what I'm doing wrong XD

What's the difference between the "frauds" and the "cheaters" you feature in the thumbnails? For example, your vid on #4 sol marks him as a cheater but is not using hacks based on your analysis. I was expecting scripts at the level of the nonsense happening in SF6.
Is there something I missed in your criteria?
@@AussieBeef54099 Oh I just use both terms so the thumbnails don't get too stale.
I've considered covering scripting before but scripts are usually pretty boring so I probably won't
@@GGSTFraudGameplay In that case words such as "poser", "faker", "phony", "imposter" and "sham" might be better and less confusing (I just pulled some crap from an online thesaurus, there's probs better).
I can't speak for the other viewers but when I see someone being called a cheater in a competitive video game, I'm expecting them to do frame perfect IBFDs or perfect white WA at inhumanley impossible times with the consistency only a bit can do.
Then again, it's probably for the best there aren't any script kiddies boosting their elo using cheats for now, let alone hackerman. But if there are, it'd nice to know how to spot em because I'm not quite good at the game myself to spot cheats.
@@AussieBeef54099 Sham is actually a goated one I might use that!
As for finding script players, a lot of scripts have issue with proximity based stuff.
For example, if someone throws you every time you do a forward advancing special like chave, fukyo etc. try doing some at fullscreen and see if they default to whiffing a grab etc.
Other than that it just comes down to experience, stuff like FRC fd cancel mid move startup > instantblocking a burst is a dead giveaway usually
