34:40 selecting does mean targeting. They would just pick random words back in the day to mean actions before they implemented problem solving text. No targeting would be worded differently.

Honestly, I thought maybe you not knowing any of the cards at all outside their monetary value had its charm but I'm enjoying the more knowledgeable Ruxin even more. It's like you have a different appreciation for all the cards.
Really lucky that the lava golem had pretty good centering considering its from Pharaonic Guardian!

I remeber when a friend was pretty happy thinking that he pulled the secreta because was de booster cover card(most of we don't know about some cards in that days), inútil some 5 packs i pulled the lava golem hahaha.

I actually really like Pharaonic Guardian, it has "Gravekeeper's" cards which is one of my favorite archetypes. These were some really nice cards/packs

Wow, never bought much Pharoanic Guardian back in the day, didn't know about the print issues! The condition of that brand new Necro Valley is crazy, maybe it'll be worth something to print error collectors? Haha... On another note, pulling the Lava Golem in the first pack was crazy!

Back in elementary school I've pulled cards shitted up like this from Pharaonic Guardian too. Nothing like the Necrovalley around 10:53 but I opened a pack fresh of this 1st ed and all the cards looked ok except the des lacoda dude (draw 1 pacman monster) looked like someone took scissors to the top of it and just plopped it in the near mint pack 😂
PGD was a nice set. Lava Golem was such a pain to play against for its time.
I remember at my first official and only tournament guy had playset of that and was teaching me pendulum before it even was a thing

What was the Monster Reborn error pull he referred to? Don't remember it.
the same texture as necrovaley happened to me too, I dont know how its called properly in english, but its something called finisher or something like it, they put it last after printing to seal the colors on the card, they messed up on that stage, maybe the finisher was a little dry before they sprayed or poured it on the cards and it didnt dry on the card as it should have

Pharaonic Guardian is probably one of my favorites next LOB the nostalgia behind it is insane, it takes me way back to when I was a kid, I was always so excited to crack open new packs. Back then, I didn’t care too much about what I got just being able to open a fresh pack was enough for me. 😆 I didn’t play about my blue eyes though. My cousin and I used to fight all the time when we would duel, I always accused him of cheating but really, I just sucked. Lol those were the days. 🥲😌
