Thanx so much for sharing Barney and the gang with me. It was a favorite show of mine when it was first-run. I still love it! I used to watch it with Mama and Daddy, and we all enjoyed it so much. I miss those days.
I was thinking when Barney went to see chano and asked how he was doing the best thing Chano could do was to sit down and have a good cry. That's the best therapy in the world for overwhelming trauma like he experienced. I was glad he was allowed to be real in that episode.
It was a Brilliant Episode. It shoes the inner feelings of a " Detective doing his job to save other people from harm" An Absolutely Brilliant Culmination of the Writers Depth; " Thank you Danny Arnold" for this poignant episode of" Barney Miller " . 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🕯🕯🕯🕯 Just " Hal and Max are left from Original Cast Members. 💖💖💖💖💖💖💔💔💔💔⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘💝
@@artchem1 My youngest son looked up Max Gail and Hal Linden both online. Hal Linden is going to be 93 in March. Max Gail is 80 now and looks great for being 80! It's hard to believe so much time has gone by! These show's were really ahead of their time in many ways!
@@richardfrost416 AND Hal Linden and Bernie Koppel doing a Broadway show together regularly in their early 90's! So great and so inspiring! (That'd be way to stressful even for me and I'm decade's younger than they are! 😂)
Chuck Berghofer played Bass on the theme song, also played Bass on Nancy Sinatra's, "These Boots Are Made For Walkin". Other Tv greats were, Charlie’s Angels, The Carol Burnett Show and The Simpsons. His bassline on Barney Miller inspired Cliff Burton to learn how to play bass. If it weren't for Barney Miller there would be no Metallica as you know them.
I saw all of Barney Miller first-run, so I'm familiar with almost all of the voices. The video cut out on me after the first two eps, so I just pretended it was a radio show. It came back on just in time to see Linda Lavin, my least favorite cop. Oh, joy. (Insert sarcasm font.) Audio only was still enjoyable, since most, and the best, of Barney Miller was verbal. Thanx muchly for sharing!
No malice, just to let you know: This upload should be named: Barney Miller Thursdays Episode Barbara Barrie 92nd Birthday Special Part 1, NOT Barney Miller Thursdays Episode Barbara Barrie 92th Birthday Special Part 1. Say the word 'ninety-second.' It ends with 'nd' NOT 'th'
I think maybe she 😮 Linda Lavine could have done okay.Or better on this show but again we will never know cuz it takes a while to settle in like the person mentioned above plus it's weird she lived in Portland Maine and graduated at the same school I did no big deal but I still mentioned at I'm a name dropper.. Ilol 🎉 ✌️ Peace 🙏🕊️🙏 10.21.2023😊 ..
Even as a child I loved Barbara Barrie. As an adult, I think she and Hal Linden had amazing chemistry. Linda Lavin I could do without. She always struck me as shrill and coarse (again, even as a child). Something unpleasant in her voice.
Non-native speaker of English is more like it. Or copied and pasted another title and didn't change the ordinal indication. It's not a mistake a native-speaker of English would make.
Please upload more Barney Miller. Love this show

Oh yeah. I had to figure it out on my electric guitar. Need the trumpets tho 😄. Still- very fullfilling to play!

He wouldnt cry in front of his captain.
Such an excellent actor IMO. Always liked Gregory Sierra in Barney Miller and wish he'd been in it longer!

This was very educational, I was wondering who was banging that bass.
Reminded me a bit of Stanley Clarke
The amazing, new 'Tummy Tuck Belt' advertised here is no 'modern miracle'. Don't waste your money. It's actually a corset.
The little boy looks like Todd Bridges of "Dif'rent Strokes".
He was 10yrs old.
It is. I think this is one of his first tv roles.
episode 4 only has audio only for some reason sorry about that folks

Too lazy to fix it? How pathetic.
1:40:15 is one of my favorite episodes. The Guest. Season 1 episode 10.
Mr Schuster the accountant is Herb Edelman - Stanley Zbornak in the Golden Girls.
This show is full of Golden girls actors. 😆 Dietrich is Stan's therapist 😅
She knew what she was getting into before they got married!
You’d think so yet somehow she’s absurdly worried about every little thing. It makes no sense.
Agreed.
You never know what you are getting into before you get married!
I love Abe vigoda he's great
Set in a New York City Police Department police station on East 6th St in Greenwich Village (Lower Manhattan).
Only audio heard but no video
WHY DID THE VIDEO NOT PLAYING?
The video quit. Audio only after about 45 minutes.
Whats with the sound but no picture?

*good thing Linda Lavin got the "Alice" gig. She was ruining this show!*

What school did you graduate from?
