I love how the trailer is totally a different vibe from the game. This trailer is sad, like there's a mass terrorist event. The game has upbeat techno EDM music, and is AWESOME
yeah its kind of scary from your perspective its an epic shootout against an endless slew of opponents but to the real good guys and civilians its constant attempts to stop you, always ending in losing your friends, family, and everyone trying to stop the mass murder

this trailer right here... converts a bloody dangerous inhuman killing-involved heist into an "Art" which is hilarious!
The violence, explosions, death, bullet, blood and everything is there but you only see the beauty of it which is surprisingly awesome and the music... just GREAT! Best freaking trailer! People should give awards for trailers and this deserves one! So does the game!

i like to imagine that this trailer wasn't to make the game seem sad, but rather, make what you're doing every single second be something you shouldn't be happy about. unfreeze this entire scene and they're already in a different position, shooting different people, completely disregarding how bad their actions are, but then pause again, it never occurs to you in the heat of the battle of what you're doing, but it does when the heat isn't there

Underrated Game, better than most of the AAA FPS Games
Think of it in a good way. If it was too popular, shitty companies like EA would want to co-create the game, and then they would ruin it, by making it more expensive and and setting DLC prices higher, so I like it just where it is now :)

One update which you have the option to play or not play fucked up the game.. This content only put a few missions out it didn't put any game breaking weapons or anything.. If you didn't like the dlc you can literally just not play it, doesn't change a damn thing at all. I remember watching this, playing the game when it first came out, and I loved it. This game was probably one of the best I've played. All the way back when the DLC wasn't a meme because there was none, to the ending cutscene after beating the white house heist.
This game has been one damn good experience.

I personally think Overkill missed the point of the trailer. The sad music and the constant death and agony of the police forces makes us symphatize with the cops. And even if it's nothing bad in sense of real life, in the game, a player should have an opposite mentality. Overkill should of showed how brutal and relentless the police was.
If they were ever to make a follow-up trailer featuring the continuation of this heist( whether it be another new difficulty, AI update trailer etc.) I'd like to see the same thing like as this, but a few seconds later: Houston, who was shooting cops on the roof, gets sniped by a Sniper on the nearby roof. Wolf is getting tased by a Taser in the same place he was after shooting the guy out the window, while slowly getting surrounded by Shields and SWATs, who are about to gun him down. Chains has been blown back against the wall that was behind him, because the Bulldozer at 3:35 reached him and Chains simply didn't have enough ammo/firepower to beat him. And as the camera goes to Dallas, looking at the dead body of the FBI officer he just shot, the camera then slowly pans to show a Cloaker coming out from a sewage lid that is located right behind the unaware Dallas. And then the screen goes black and the chirp that Cloakers make when they spawn in is heard...and then the trailer ends.

When i saw the ending i was crying for two days. I played this game for like 1000 h, dw mask( the most beautiful momen in my pd2 carrier), first one down mission, first mission, firts infamy, first dlc, first 1000000$, first good build. It's a great game, the things that bugs me the most about it is; 1. The way you get attachments at random, instead of just having a higher price on them, or unlock them by leveling up. 2. That there arn't more levels, the missions are really good, but I'd rather like the "game modes" you have now, but in different locations, like 3 different banks to rob, 3 different jewelery stores and so on.

This trailer has better effects than what's actually in game, like wood chipping effects and gore effects on bodies. I'd love to see that in game, why is it gone?
As this is a 3D rendered piece using pro softwares. When making a video you have time to wait for it to render, but in a game it would take 30 seconds just to load 1 frame.

First one was called Payday: The Heist, and its honestly a pretty well rounded co-op game, its pretty well made, compared to other 4 player co-op titles, suggest checking into it a bit and not just its release trailer.

Ngl a few years ago I watched this trailer for the first time after playing the game a ton, and it made me tear up, the music coupled with the morbid display of the heist just makes you think and wonder, watching it now it still has that feel but no tears, part of being a kid was blissful ignorance back then, but this just showed me who I was playing as in game, criminals and terrorists, not saying that's wrong or anything, but payday has a weird way of making the acts of literal felonies and immoral slaughter as less than concerning lol. Still love the game but this trailer just has a way different tone than the game itself.
As far is i know we are playing the "good" guys in payday lore
