Fun Facts: Gigantic Explosion takes 6 Ki Bars, and can be used in exchange for 4 stamina bars while being hit. You can see this even if you don’t have the move because Custom LSSJ Broly has access to the new one’s moves. Not his new Super Soul tho.
Also, with regards to new moves in general, always try modular inputs of all kinds. One of Broly’s has multiple you can do. You can speed the blast up by pressing the button again(this also allows you to recover faster and start moving)and you can also redirect it with the left stick. The bomb also has a bit of homing, but it might be conditional on throwing it off of a knockback.
Those extra shockwaves on his charge move when transformed also act as knockback attacks, similar to the ones on transformations.
The new Goku Black also has a move with modularity, but it’s pretty much only for flash. You can spin the Scythe to deflect weak Ki Blasts, which is basically never useful.

The scythe spin lets you combo into itself if you hit them with it. That’s all I got

im so glad they added this broly into the game. ever since i was a kid this has by far been my favourite broly and i cant really place why that is. its just something about his slender build that gets me. also him having blue hair when turning ssj LONG before we got alternate hair colors was super cool imo.

I think the Eraser Bomb's curve is in reference to when Broly curved his energy blast into the slaves home planet when he tricked everyone into thinking he'd blow them all up.
No they already reference that in his combo after he transforms. When you end it with the blast facing the other way

Broly is an interesting character for online because of how reliant he is on transforming. Easily punishable but if you fail then you lose due to how insane he is once in super saiyan. Also he looks so damn smooth, the next dlc is gonna be absolutely top tier in terms of model quality.

You can use Gigantic Explosion as an evasive, it cost 4 stamina bars and dies less damage, but you can't be broken out of it.

The eraser bomb can have a second input, to make it go up, down, left or right. When I've been testing it I believe the second input is to change the direction of the blast for better tracking on an opponent. Least what I gathered by throwing to the left when npcs tried to burst dash behind me and the blast followed them
That last fight was pretty cool, honestly. Props to that guy for playing it out
Tips for this Broly for people who are just fighting him out:
The best times to transform are A. Limit Burst, or B. Immediately after a heavy stamina break. Your opponent will be too busy either falling or being stuck in the animation to break your stamina and stop the transformation.
It will drastically reduce damage, beneath a third of what it normally is, but Broly’s Ultimate Gigantic Explosion can be used as an Evasive Skill.
Between this character and how different the UI transformation was, I wonder how much of this stuff is experimentation for general features for Xenoverse 3.
I know it's a bit of a meme but what if they want to make sure Xenoverse 3 is especially cracked before they start to work on it or something.
I really wish he had an alt that looked like the second Broly movie; no headband and unrestrained Super Saiyan

Ain’t no way rather than just film himself actually walking this man did the walking motion in his chair.
The trick to stop opponents from dropping out of the stomp is to start your combo with 2 heavy attacks then switch to all light (Or if your dashing/step vanishing start with a light, then do 2 heavy hits before swapping back to lights for the stomps)
I think i found an ok way to transform as Broly. You gotta make sure your opponent is REALLY low stamina where they won’t be able to vanish. You need to do the stomp as quickly as possible. When you do it on the ground, it looks like it’ll give enough time to safely transform
That Broly Ult is insane to do be able to do that 😭🤣

They really did well with this broly. And the upgrade of the skills once you transform is just badass. Hopefully they do more skills like these cuz it just makes our awoken skills feel more significant.
Use the transformation when their stamina is under 1 bar(cant burst dash) or if their stamina is broken.
I wonder if Bandai actually hired Modders. This is something you would see straight out of mods, especially that awoken.

At least Broly transformation is doable in a real match, try to make Akuma turn into Shin Akuma in SF6 without an opponent letting you do it.
