The are being searched is Ft Gibson Lake. One of three lakes on the Grand (Neosho) river in northeast Oklahoma. Every few years the level in those lakes increase dramatically, 20 to 30 feet, due to heavy rain fall over the area. The large inflow of this water has strong currents. That car could be miles down stream.
This story just breaks my heart… I was so young back then….. Girl Scouts was my life, my Mom was a Leader for 61 years. I was a Leader for about 20 years….❤ hope you find everything you can…..❤🙏 Stay Safe
The "killer' was found 'not guilty' the impetus for this search is covered in the book "Shattered Justice" [2022] by J.D. Morrison. The tragedy has not subsided for the families and their supporters for over forty years. Whether you believe GLH was the 'killer,' law enforcement was biased, or the jury was incompetent-most, agree that more than one assailant committed the crimes.
Looking for lost love ones that have past away in their vehicle,, for whatever reason, is bad enough. But to be looking for a car that could lead to evidence in the murder of 3 innocent young children is absolutely horrible. Their reward will be handled on Judgement Day. Their suffering will last an eternity in hell. I hope and pray you find that vehicle. Good luck, God Bless and be safe.
I was a little girl during this time in I live in southern Oklahoma. It changed the way we did our summer camps forever. To this day it was never the same. We will never forget. We were at church camp that summer and our mothers came and took us all home
I remember when this happened.... so frightening. I had been a Girl Scout in my youth so felt a kinship to those girls. Thank yoh for doing this story.
Thank you two for your dedication to helping with all the cases you work on. This is horrendous. It would be awesome to see all those involved be prosecuted. Bless you!
At least you know where the car isn't. Great effort to find it. Keep searching. We all appreciate what you do. Without people like you so many more cases would go unsolved. Happy New Year!! Y'all keep looking and we'll keep watching.
Hi, Jeremy and Adam. I did as you suggested and did a little research on the tragic deaths of these young girls. Although you didn't find your target vehicle, you were able to locate two others. Thanks for your efforts. Stay healthy and safe, you guys 👍
Jeremy Thank You for putting your time in to help with this case. I was 15 yrs old at the time of these murders. I lived about an hour and 20 minutes away from Locust Grove at that time. I remember how devastated I was when I learned about these 3 sweet young lives being taken in such a brutal way. The case is still classed as unsolved because the person they believe committed this crime was found not guilty in 1979. I believe there had to be more than one person involved with the murders. God Bless and Happy New Year Everyone 🎆 🥳 🎇 Be Happy 😂 Safe and Healthy 💞
I remember this, my mom and I were in scouting at the time, and security was ramped up when any of us went camping. I hope you can find something, everything helps. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Greetings Jeremy, Adam, and Exploring with Nug fans! Your doing great cleaning the rivers! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
Great video you guys.I remember reading about this case several years ago but could not find any info after wards.thank you for doing the dives and hope to see this horrible murders solved sometime in the future.BTW am still donating to Nug every month.
Jeremy, I remember watching documentaries and other videos on this abhorrent crime. Worked in LE and intell gathering and parsed the intell from the case. Back then the forensics was minimal to none, nobody really looked for the vehicle. The way the campsite was set up, the tent the girls were in was away from the rest. The female counselor that found the note and did nothing, many sloppy incidents. Please don't stop boys, what you two do is badly needed!
Thank you so much for continuing the search for the car! I'm sure you notified LE of the vehicles you found. Since finding them was unrelated, I'm hoping to see and hear more about those in the future. Happy New Year! 2024 is going to be great for you guys!
Jeremy and Adam, thank you very much for all of the time, energy, emotional health, fuel, etc., you spend in searching for missing loved ones. You are awesome!
I did as you said and learned about this case and found something probably not related as far as the car goes but very strange. Made me wonder for sure. In 1980 I believe, my 1st husband turned up with a roadrunner that he said was found on the side of the road. He said it was broken down and it was taken to a shop to be worked on. It was the gold (dark yellow) color with the road runner painted on the hood. They had no title for it and couldnt seem to find the owner and they applied for a title then my x ended up with it. My x's family on his dads side were Choctaw Indian which included the Hart family. My x was probably related to the person they say committed this crime.
I grew up around Camp Scott. It was a place that had great memories. I lived in Tulsa and our troop went there frequently. I have so many pictures from there…many of us sitting on the porch to The Great Lodge, and swinging on the giant vines. This tragedy was the beginning of the end for Camp Scott.
Another great video searching for evidence in this case. After narrowing down areas where it isn't, I'm sure if they're truthful you guys will find it. Good job.❤️🇨🇦
Buddy what you do is tremendous and unconditional. People like you are what being a human being is about . Happy new year guys all the best Mark and Emily at Rooster Recovery
That Bee CAR is needing more then a boat need metal detectors or something to find this old car.The poeople know where its at but look 50 years land changes
My grandfather Mack Fogleman was the grounds keeper and in charge of that whole area. He never overcame that day. We as the family had to help him get through it. I'm so sorry for all the families who lost those girls. God bless them.
Happy New Year's to you guys and keep up the amazing job that you are doing. You have brought closer to many families and I respect and appreciate what you guys do
OMG! Not having television in my home, means I miss so much going on...its only here on yt that i get to connect to such events. I recognize a few last names...my prayers for family and community. Justice for these families.
Keep doing what you're doing. Wish I could help but I'm on a fixed income 😢 but I love what the two of you are doing. I watch you two faithfully. God bless you and be safe ❤❤❤❤
I been watching you and Adam for a few years now, and I have to say that you both seem to be the most real and authentic people I've watched in this category of content! I appreciate the authenticity of what you do; helping where you can, without over embellishment. If I had expendable income, you would definitely be my choice to give it to. 👍
Is this Lake Hudson? It is a man-made reservoir and releases water several time a day, I believe, and the water moves fast, so maybe car moved due to the water moving so much?
I have lived on Ft Gibson Lake my whole life, and while I was only 2 years old at the time of these murders, I can remember growing up with the story of these murders. Most people believe the person who was found not guilty in the case was in fact the person who committed these atrocious acts. And most people believe it would have been almost impossible for him to do this by himself. Thank you for coming and trying to find this car. I have no doubt that the families of the victims are incredibly grateful as well. All the best!!
My spouse is from Locust Grove. His family still lives there. The family was devastated when they learned of the horrible crime.
