Me and my buddy lured a scav to the co-op extract on interchange and it worked and got us out, very dangerous of course but it is doable. It also helps that the extract zones seem larger ever since PVE released
No that is just stupid tarkov AI. PMC AI should also shoot scavs and bosses but in PVE however the most of the time dont. They are literally relaxing next to the bosses with tons of scavs sometimes. I just had to fight like 12 scavs, 4 PMC AI and the entire reshala squad in dorms. One PMC was literally sitting with reshala in the same room. But hey BSG is going to add even more stuff to the game that won't fix the broken AI so that is going to be fun.
I think, if do a scav run on factory, but better way to loot instant office 3rd floor and 1st floor bags, and extract in office. 2-3 min, have loot, and all time 700+ xp.
Just so you know you can craft those NIXXOR lenses for dirt cheap, 1 plexiglass and 1 wifi camera and you also don't need a survive to gain the rep as a scav, runthrough adds rep. If you want the bonus for killing PMCs as a scav too you have to stay in raid a little until they kill a scav or two like LIVE EFT but it's never worth the time as most of the time they ignore them
Anyone else noticing on Factory at least, that scavs and pmcs are not fighting each other, at least not consistently? Especially when I scav in. Multiple times I have watched scavs, Tagilla, and PMCs walk past eachother and not care. ,I jsut did a scav run, took out 2 PMCs. There are other scavs all around me walking around. I round a corner that another scav just came from and got dropped by a PMC that had been standing there the whole time. I thought it was another scav given the lack of shooting.
Now I find the PMC's engage the scavs but not Tagilla. Easy way to get kits is stay high as they don't seem to spot you most of the time and take em out from above

Pve is doable mostly for me, although the bosses and especially the goons are insane... If i don't get sorta lucky with some extra cover so i can relocate multiple times so I can sorta cheese them in CQB then I don't stand a chance. I really need this kind of content and other info online to be able to learn the game and be able to do quests. I was so jumpy at the beginning I shot everything all the time. My scav rep was horrible to say the least. I'm lvl 22 and just recently got the rep in the positive. Yes, I'm horrible at this game, lol. So again thank you for all your PVE content!
4:50 yes, you do get a default 0.01 rep addition even if you get a run-through 7:18 if you waited for a few minutes until you heard the first sounds of gunshots, hunt those PMCs. In factory PVE at least a group of 3 will spawn, and kill them will give you at least a 0.02 rep because they have killed at least one scav. Just make sure you have a clear line of shot, good aim, and fast enough, since Scav guns usually shit one, and auto guns are the best bet to kill PMCs I recommended Interchange if you want to farm rep. I once got 0.6 rep addition from shooting PMCs (group of 4, they packed nasty punches). Hotspot usually in the center of the mall and the ramp from underground parking lot at the right from the main entrance. Just make sure to watch out for Tagilla
Tip: scav streets, get the rusted key and/or relax and loot those rooms. You will make millions per raid and be able to upgrade the hideout with those expensive items. Then slowly grind the rep after

Sometimes I'll notice my rep jump a shitload of points but I didn't take car extracts or do nowhere near enough runs to get how much I've gotten. It jumped up .20 a couple times now
Old video but important, you CAN use Co-Op extracts as a PMC (or even as a scav, idk) in PVE. It says that you need to have a friendly scav to do it, but the game doesn't actually check if that's the case, nor does it care that you're extracting with an AI. There's 2 ways to get Co-Op extracts in PVE. First is to shoot the Acid Green flare into the sky, which will make you friendly to scavs in a certain area, allowing you to safely extract. Second way is to exploit the Scav swarming mechanic by making a lot of noise and having a scav investigate. If you position yourself in the right spot, and have decent protection in worst-case scenarios, the scav won't be able to kill you and you'll extract. While some maps this strategy is nearly impossible, some maps like Interchange make it very doable.
When you run as pmc you can bait a scav into a coop extract on both pve and pvp best locations I’ve had great lock doing this is interchange shoreline and streets of tarkov reserve is iffy you need a special way of doing it when baiting a scav into the extract

I managed ONCE to get a coop on Interchange. I was a PMC and just before arriving in the zone I wounded a SCAV that was in the zone. As soon as I got into the zone, the timer started and I successfully extracter.
I just started pve this wipe and have been running streets and get crazy scav rep for pmc kills. Almost every run I leave with .10 and most ive left with was .50 plus you get to loot relax room with the key spawn
Scav on factory, use car extraction and don’t use the unheard item. And last you can use coop extract on interchange. It’s tricky but works fine if you pmc. Just Aggro them and let them walk torwards you.
I had to wipe my PvE… I was so negative he gave me 2 quests to get back.. and I still didn’t realize the radio was making me go negative.. wasn’t till I was playing with a buddy one day he said about negative rep.. and that’s when I found out.. so I’m on my second PvE run lol
you actually can coop extract as a pmc or scav in pve, but that is a high risk move and fails many times, as you basically have to lure a scav/pmc into the extract while he is trying to shoot you :D
If you are a woods main like myself, and the goons are up they won’t always kill the scavs at the bunker and if you attack one of the goods in self defense the scavs can go hostile to you, just as an FYI
It's close to it that's for sure, I've only killed 1 PMC in the office area and it was before I got the task lol. They're also always there on my scav but not PMC. Still at 0/6 myself.
I'm so happy there was a hidden debuff to that item. I used It till level 13 and only realized it affected my scav rep when I went to fence and saw a -0.25. Actually kinda pissed about that. I only went to check because I killed a scav that was standing literally between two usec that I killed. A 2 minute gunfight and the scav didn't shoot once while 2 feet from 2 used, he wasn't even shot at either.
You can shove an AI scav to the coop extracts has a pmc, aslong has you hug them their gun will shoot sideways and wont hit you. This is a trick that can be done on the PVP side of things and mostly done on interchange but if i had to guess ur also able to do so on PVE. Tricky, but does wrk
I like to go woods Extra food and meds, various free m4s and aks, good ammo, plus you're garunteed 2-3 optics and suppressors which can make you a mil for 6 slots
All my scav spawns on Ground Zero was near Nakatani building. Easy +0.01 for 30 sec :D But i'm not sure, maybe it was just a lucky spawns. Tried it for about 5-6 times on low level version of GZ.
They need to fix the AI it's insane. I used to play mostly offline mode and the scavs and raiders are nothing like this mode. I had a higher survival rating dealing with Chad's and hackers online.... also most raids have a 30 min timer it's harldy enough to get anything done on maps like shoreline.
@@marapapittvlighthouse is pretty easy once you learn the PMC spawns, i find there is only ever 1 group that spawns between southern road and water treatment. Find them quickly and you have plenty of time to kill the rogues
@alexanderivanyuk8001 if it doesn't instantly put you into a game you should back out. If it juts says matching and nothing els is happening back out. Should take less then 2 min to join game depending on hard drive probably.
i combine Scav loot runs on reserve with when i hear fighting i try to kill the leftover PMC, i even wait till he killed all the Scavs for more Scav Rep
I only pmcd factory, woods, and customs. If you play customs and spawn at big red or eventually make it over there you can snipe the pmcs over by ruaff from the train. Normally 3 will just be grouped up. If I don’t get big red spawn I will run down through smuggler boat up to big red and snipe over from the same spot.
when i hear or run into pmcs i yell for help bringing fellow scavs in. thus leading to pmcs killing scavs. you kill the pmc who killed the scavs, you get move rep. got .11 one raid.
First thing they need to fix is the raid times. Put them back to normal, 30 mins is NOT enough time when you've got 5 tasks and insane amounts of respawning AI. I've never gone MIA before PvE mode. not i've gotten 5 and missed them by about 5 second even when W keying all the way.
I dont know if this is a bug or they made it intentional, I reported it as a bug. But if you kill a pmc as a scav you don't get any additional reputation. Also if tagila is on map he needs to shoot other AI scavs since he shoots me on sight 😅

Yeah. I accidentally killed a scav after a pmc attacked me cause I thought they were both pmcs, then all the scavs aggroed at me, and now I have negative karma
Kind of bummed out that the pmc kills don't count towards scav rep, fence quests going to be important. Side note have you killed a pmc after he shot at/killed a scav or does this make no difference
Installed today to try the PVE, and after waiting 5 minutes for a raid, just uninstall again... why waiting so long for matching if it is a PVE? Super annoying...
Co-op ex doesnt work, yet they have quests for doing them..... They need to fix a LOT with PVE. Half the time scavs and other PMC's dont fight each other. Feels like every raid is me against everything else instead of me vs scavs vs pmc vs scavs. Lot of bugs need worked out. I think the main issue with PMC's not fighting scavs is because the PMC's act as Raiders. Thats why they wont fight you when youre a scav. They need to make PMC's their own thing like SPT.
Sorry for a delayed comment, great work but - how do Scav runs work on PvE? Is it the same as PvP scav runs? Or does it just load you into a raid where AI PMCs are, or is it another PvE players lobby? Just wanna clarify :D
I've seen videos of pmc pushing ai scavs, by wep jamming them, into coop extracts to get out. Not sure if it still works vut even if it does it's risky and time consuming.
scav extract works in pve idk how i managed it but on interchange scav was on other side of container i was healing an extracted an the scav was hostile so again dont know how i managed it
I wasn't planning on replying to my own comment like this. I have noticed that I get +.14 rep for "Scav assistance" if I kill a pmc that is fighting another scav. However, the enemy AI seems to prioritize the player, so you have to show up at a fight already happening.
this is essentially my own blog now. I've been playing around with it. a pmc kill (as a scav) is worth very little rep on factory. on Reserve, they're worth .04 or .05. PMCs are almost never alone, so you usually bag a couple, after extracting with 2 kills you can usually get a minimum of .1 scav rep.

I've also had a pmc be passive to my scav and walk right up to me only to immediately crouch and blast me. I held my fire because I thought it was an ai scav 😂

It's only me having problema with PMC AI spawn? Trying to kill PMC's on factory with pistol, and about 5 raids, only 1 spawned PMC's, the rest spawned only acavs and Taghilla.

I find using the car extract on ground zero helps a lot since its always there and not a big map

i have issues where if i thread on boss territory ill get jumped by all the scavs and either choose to play and tank a -.24 or let myself die instead

Ive been doing run throughs on factory scav and getting my rep up it works for run throughs
for me i get XP in Pve as a Scav when killing PMC's. If this particular PMC has killed a Scav before, i get 0.01 Scav Assistance for each one.

Ground zero might be a good map if you go up in the one gunner window they seem to spawn over by the parking garage

Can you reset your PvE account without resetting your PvP account??
Kind of bummed out that the pmc kills don't count towards scav rep, fence quests going to be important.
Side note have you killed a pmc after he shot at/killed a scav or does this make no difference
Doesn't make a difference, thought this was it too but after testing it still gave 0.
Installed today to try the PVE, and after waiting 5 minutes for a raid, just uninstall again...
why waiting so long for matching if it is a PVE? Super annoying...
same here thats just bullshit to wait that long for a match if you are the only real player...

Co-op ex doesnt work, yet they have quests for doing them..... They need to fix a LOT with PVE. Half the time scavs and other PMC's dont fight each other. Feels like every raid is me against everything else instead of me vs scavs vs pmc vs scavs. Lot of bugs need worked out.
I think the main issue with PMC's not fighting scavs is because the PMC's act as Raiders. Thats why they wont fight you when youre a scav. They need to make PMC's their own thing like SPT.

Sorry for a delayed comment, great work but - how do Scav runs work on PvE? Is it the same as PvP scav runs? Or does it just load you into a raid where AI PMCs are, or is it another PvE players lobby? Just wanna clarify :D

I've seen videos of pmc pushing ai scavs, by wep jamming them, into coop extracts to get out. Not sure if it still works vut even if it does it's risky and time consuming.
scav extract works in pve idk how i managed it but on interchange scav was on other side of container i was healing an extracted an the scav was hostile so again dont know how i managed it
we need to update this. now that there are transit extracts for scavs I never seem to get car extracts.
I wasn't planning on replying to my own comment like this. I have noticed that I get +.14 rep for "Scav assistance" if I kill a pmc that is fighting another scav. However, the enemy AI seems to prioritize the player, so you have to show up at a fight already happening.

I've been playing around with it. a pmc kill (as a scav) is worth very little rep on factory.
on Reserve, they're worth .04 or .05. PMCs are almost never alone, so you usually bag a couple, after extracting with 2 kills you can usually get a minimum of .1 scav rep.

I really wish I knew about the radio sooner I was sitting at about a 1.10 fence rep and as of today, I am down to 8.34 and I had no fucking idea why

I've also had a pmc be passive to my scav and walk right up to me only to immediately crouch and blast me. I held my fire because I thought it was an ai scav 😂
Is anyone else getting attacked by other scavs on their scav run? Sometimes when i go in to the mall on streets I get attacked/chased by just normal scavs. I've got a 2.5 rep and it just happened.

My scav cooldown is like 3 minutes for some reason.. I'm only at like 1.55 rep and intel 1 .. Also Tagilla has never aggro'd me.
Bosses event lowered cooldowns.

That tagliatelle death, it sums up pve right now. Always Strange, horrible deaths after sweating hard only to get naded by scavs or 1 tapped. Meh

It's only me having problema with PMC AI spawn? Trying to kill PMC's on factory with pistol, and about 5 raids, only 1 spawned PMC's, the rest spawned only acavs and Taghilla.

I un-equipped the "Mark of the Unheard" and I still get negative rep when killing scavs on my pmc... do you have to sell it?

It requires more testing but suppressors seem to help significantly with scav agro.
I have conflicting results. I can shoot 1 single bullet from something suppressed and I get swarmed.
