What happened to the snare drummer's shako? I noticed it was missing when they were playing in the endzone. Hopefully someone recovered it before the halftime show.

I think maybe because they were marching thru that narrow area they didn't want to hit anything on the march in. I've seen former years when they hit one of the barricades spinning the mace. Or it could be something else altogether. Just a guess
Yea, that spot is very narrow. I was a JSU drummajor in 03 and 04 with the first female. We tried to always be in full uniform. Sometimes chains break on the maces, the parade before will wear you out... It's a number of reasons why we don't carry maces from time to time.. The most simple reason is sometimes you just don't feel like having them in that right spot and going up the ramp...🤷🏾♂️

Seeing that we don't rehearse in there, it was a rush the first couple of times matching in. Until you get used to running into the bushes and gates, lol. You learn to eventually get great at avoiding objects...
It's a HBCU. I saw few white and pink faces sprinkled in. Believe me their are a lot of l liberal white schools in the US of A that do not have any diversity at all.
Either you’re not from the U.S or grossly ignorant but I’ll fill you in. This school is an HBCU (historically Black college/university). There was a time in history, not too long ago actually where Black people in the United States were not allowed to go to school with whites. Segregation. I’m sure you’ve been taught this at some point or another. As a result, Black people formed their own institutions for higher education & had no policies that prevented other races from enrolling. Hence, why these schools are predominantly Black. There is no “exclusion”. HBCUs were put in place to combat segregation. Thank you for allowing me to educate you.

Whilst I love the scantily clad ladies, why aren't the men subject to that rule? Also, this is just a reworking of the British Army's 'beating retreat' which is a ceremony for returning to barracks. During such ceremonies, captured criminals and escaped slaves would be paraded, often naked, especially if women were included. Speaking as a white, male Englishman, why do these people not understand their history?
