I do tons and tons of research, but I’m not a certified authenticator.. so I always suggest getting preloved bags authenticated. There are places that authenticate for as low as $10 or so. Some are authenticatefirst, memestreasures, and tons more. Hope that helped a bit!

I came by this video by way if Jessica @chicprofessor and loved it. I have 5 Fendi bags and 1 dior on my ebay watch list as a result. I got a dior saddle bag before the prices really started being jacked up. Phew! How do you keep up on the latest news on bags, for example knowing that dior is going to release saddle bags for Fall 2018? Runway shows, purse blogs? Great and informative video!

Hi Rhonda! I don't think it hurts to try and see if you can sell it. To be honest, prices have gone up so much on all saddle bags, that even older ones are selling for sooo much!
How much do you think is reasonable for a vintage saddle bag in trotter? They’re becoming so expensive that it almost makes me wonder whether to just buy new...
Christina Godard you interested in the one like Tabby's with the charm? If you want the more basic ones I've seen some go for around $100 on poshmark! I'd be happy to send you some of the listings. The one's with charms are usually between $300-$600.
I purchased one early last month after searching for that exact combo for months. My max budget was about the $500 mark. However, like Tabby has mentioned the prices of the trotter saddle bags have skyrocketed the last few months. I've seen current prices from $600-900. Someone recently DM that was selling a like new one for $825 the other day. Even a couple of the Japanese sellers that I go through on ebay are selling the denim versions for $600 right now. Try reaching out to IG seller yesiamvintage to see if they can put your name down if another trotter saddle comes in. They were great to deal with and their prices are reasonable.

Thanks for helping out ladies! I personally didn’t want to spend more than $300 on the saddle bag I had. Thankfully, I found one a couple months back. However, now I wouldn’t want to pay what they are selling for now.. which is now really $500 plus! If you love the bag that much, sometimes if you look daily and research everywhere on Instagram and preloved sites, you can find a rare sweet deal. I bought mine through a seller called yesiamvintage on IG.. and so did allpiecesofamber. We both had a great experience. Hopefully, Jessica can help you find one too! Keep me updated if you get one!
