You have a great vintage collection! I've been on the hunt for a Dior bag in the same honeycomb print as that little detachable pouch. I love it so much more than the trotter print. Another one I have been keeping an eye out for is a vintage Celine box bag in the macadam print.

I have a vintage Chanel Diana flap and I absolutely love it! The lambskin is still soft and surprisingly durable and it has that deep yellow gold hardware :)

My first Lv was the pouchette accessoir also. It was my very first high end designer bag/slg. I used it like a handbag lol! That bag is so practical. I will pass it on to my daughter as well. I since had the vachetta replaced. It costs about $130 USD.

I really enjoyed this. My favourites are the Gucci bag that looks like the Ophidia, not surprisingly, I love that one but I didn't realise it was a rework of an older one. That is very good to know. The other is the Celine bag. That was a big surprise as I don't like their current styles at all. But your vintage one is beautiful.

What a great designer vintage collection you have, Mel! My two favorite bags are the Celine and the Gucci Ophidia. Another difference that I could see from your vintage Gucci and the current collection is the zipper pull. I actually like your zipper pull better. The new one is too plain.

Can’t beat the Dior monogram. In the 70’s in New York, all the shop girls, and girls from Queens carried them. 😀. I had two similar Gucci totes from approximately the same period, but unfortunately the shoulder straps did not hold up. I believe the Celine macadam bags are now becoming desirable. Great collection.
Wow Mel! I love this video, but it also made me so sad..! I started my own handbag collection around year 2000, and the first several bags I bought were Gucci with some Dior and one Celine. I sold them all a long time ago!! 😢 This is the first time I feel true buyers remorse!!!! I love your vintage collection as well as all your other bags I've had the pleasure to see in your videos! ❤️

Hi mel absolutely love your videos...The burgundy fendi bag is sooo gorgeous!! I believe it is real because my late aunt had one in tan/dark ochre color (from a store in the late 80s) and hers has a rope braided silk cord as well...

My 1st LV was the same. Bought it around 2001. Recently gave it to my daughter.
Beautiful collection! And the lady makes it look so chic 😊 I was inspired by you and today I foung a gorgeous vintage 80s Carbotti black leather bucket bag withs amazing gold details. The price was US 60$... I still feel as guilty as if I stole it. I can honestly say there is no bucket bag today on the market that can compare.

Hey Mel! You might already know this but BrandOff (one of the eBay sellers you listed) are an actual store in Japan (they have shops everywhere here!) and they have a website and online store of their own. I would put a lot of faith in them to be selling authentic goods because the law in japan is quite strict and they have so many actual physical stores where you can come and look at the goods yourself! If you're ever back in Japan might be a place to check out x
