+Mandy VAN WYK Thanks for watching and for your comment. It's hard to know what information to include in each video and what to explain so I'm glad this one was useful to you!

I did a painting with a shoreline of trees & had no idea how to break it up. Now I do! Thank you!

I miss all your speed paintings of your beautiful pieces! I've seen all your videos (probably a few times each lol), been watching for a couple/few years now I dk how long lol. Anyways I always admired your technique for painting these. But the best tip I think I've gotten in a long time is actually to not just lighten with white but add blue to the distant ones while starting from the darker ones. Usually I work from the farthest back and it just seems so much simpler this way. Thanks! I really hope to see another speed painting soon tho. Pleeeeeease. Just for me haha. I'm joking, so many people will love it! I speak for all of the youtubers out there! ;)

Hi Sarah, thanks for watching over the years. I am still painting every day but don't often have the time to set up a camera for a time lapse. I have a painting coming up this week that I'm really looking forward to, so hopefully will be able to record it and upload it here.
