Imagine visiting a mental hospital and you see an schizophrenic italian guy with crazy hair in a straight jacket rapping while his funko pop version of himself is yodeling and flying around
If you wanna know something more... This song is from the album "Verità supposte", released in 2003, the album that made Caparezza famous here in Italy especially beacuse of the song "Fuori dal tunnel" which was a pretty huge success. "Verità supposte" is mainly about italian society and its problems at the time (there are songs about stereotypes, war, racism, the music industry, trash TV, but also more personal ones), but this song (Jodellavitanonhocapitouncazzo) is, as you probably can understand even without knowing the lyrics, a pretty humourous and silly cut on the album although what he's saying still has a meaning. In the CD booklet it is described as a "track that contradicts all the previous tracks" (it's the last song in the album). The singer, Caparezza ("curly head"), writes all his lyrics and also produces most of his songs. He is known here in Italy because of his clever rhymes and wordplay, his political and social satire and the many cultural references in his lyrics. He published 8 studio albums; his last album, Exuvia, was released in 2021. His last two albums are actually pretty different from the rest of his discography: he got tinnitus in 2015 (for a musician it's a really difficult condition to live with), and this led to more personal and dark songs. His 2017 album "Prisoner 709" is, in my opinion, his best work and a phenomenal album musically and lyrically: check out "Prosopagnosia", the title track, "Una chiave"... Unfortunately some of his songs are not easy to understand even if you know the language, so you may like more songs from his earlier albums like "Museica" (2014), "Il sogno eretico" (2011). I strongly recommend you to give a listen to some of his songs, he really is one of the best artists in Italy and I think he doesn't get the appreciation he deserves.

For those who came across this 2003 song, but don't know the Italian language, here is the English translation. N.B.: Such lyrics is full of humorous and bizarre verses, in which Caparezza criticizes Italian society and culture Jodellavitanonhocapitouncazzo (Yodonotunderstandshitaboutlife) [Yodeling] I don't made a show, I put on a show like My drunk grandfather on the day of my Communion So out of mind That I have relatives who are not at all happy to bear the same surname as me Leave me the presumption of feeling like manure Sometimes hard, sometimes sewage But what desire for fame, I'm starving But what place at the table, I have the bowl like a dog I bark for a couple of dishes I beg for I could behave like a choleric but I forget about it A real doctor stands next to me, he says to me: "Don't you realize that you're becoming schizophrenic?" [Yodeling] I laugh, but I cry heartily If I see the well-built and just right lamp-tanned buster I, who have Woodstock mud in my locks, stink I accumulate sweat for hours that I spray I love women who taste like cod More than showgirls with sequins and ostrich feathers I tumble to a pile of joy Even if I don't spend the summer having fun on the beach I'm the reigning champion of the useless But my skullcap burns like lava rock And in the contest of who cheats in music I'm in the game with a two of spades up my sleeve The only certainty is that I'll end up badly Caparezza dies, everyone at the funeral It's paradoxical, but I'm not coming, I don't care Man, how many records will they sell if I pass away (General, in the operating room) [Yodeling]

@@simonemontagna7678 possibly, but I remember the regional mtv played a lot of artists from the UK honestly, it was still more of an English music channel, however there was 1 more music channel that had music from all over Europe and I remember at the time I had moved there that O-Zone - Dragosta Din Tei song was practically on repeat on that channel at the time
I'm always impressed when someone can do a thing like turn a crude visual joke into a great piece of satire or vice-versa, and....he's being allowed to piss, but only if the straitjacket stays on, and then they treat him like a filthy animal for getting it on the floor, despite the fact that he did a better job of getting most of it in the bowl than is probably physically possible IRL, and it's implied that this further justifies him being locked up. That might be the best visual metaphor for how cruelly and disingenuously the world at large approaches the idea of people who have struggled with addiction and mental health problems reintegrating with society I've ever seen.
Jesus Christ, I've finally found it. I listened to this song for some time few years ago and now I couldn't remember the name, all I could remember was: -Big-haired italian rapper -Yodelling -Long, weird name -Animated MV with psychiatric ward -"Mi costi caro" And yet, all I could get from Google was "Yodel it!" from Romanian Eurovision.

For those who came across this 2003 song, but don't know the Italian language, here is the English translation.
N.B.: Such lyrics is full of humorous and bizarre verses, in which Caparezza criticizes Italian society and culture
Jodellavitanonhocapitouncazzo (Yodonotunderstandshitaboutlife)
[Yodeling]
I don't made a show, I put on a show like
My drunk grandfather on the day of my Communion
So out of mind
That I have relatives who are not at all happy to bear the same surname as me
Leave me the presumption of feeling like manure
Sometimes hard, sometimes sewage
But what desire for fame, I'm starving
But what place at the table, I have the bowl like a dog
I bark for a couple of dishes I beg for
I could behave like a choleric but I forget about it
A real doctor stands next to me, he says to me:
"Don't you realize that you're becoming schizophrenic?"
Shut up doctor! You cost me a lot, I'm worth zero
And don't call me an artist, but a bullshitter
Is it clear? I'm a bullshitter at the root
I'm happy in the dung, I should cry, and instead...
[Yodeling]
I'm sick but on the one hand I don't give vent to victimization
A Gou Kato by the rules: Love Me, My Knight
I aspire to the Oscar, but that of aphorisms
I had to take a shower but they gave me a frisbee
And I smell like shit, I drink a lot
Escaped my fate like a stowaway in a hull
Wide open eyes like an owl
I build tuff after tuff a future that sees me as a UFO
Sure I get bored, I swear on every quiff
I should blow the trumpet for how many times I snort
If I dive into one of my ideas
I find myself free-diving in a tide of diarrhea
I find it funny
I am alive, but I don't live because I breathe
I only feel alive if I take out the fountain pen and write
When I was born I didn't understand
And now that I still don't understand, all I have to do is...
[Yodeling]
I laugh, but I cry heartily
If I see the well-built and just right lamp-tanned buster
I, who have Woodstock mud in my locks, stink
I accumulate sweat for hours that I spray
I love women who taste like cod
More than showgirls with sequins and ostrich feathers
I tumble to a pile of joy
Even if I don't spend the summer having fun on the beach
I'm the reigning champion of the useless
But my skullcap burns like lava rock
And in the contest of who cheats in music
I'm in the game with a two of spades up my sleeve
The only certainty is that I'll end up badly
Caparezza dies, everyone at the funeral
It's paradoxical, but I'm not coming, I don't care
Man, how many records will they sell if I pass away
(General, in the operating room)
[Yodeling]

The fact that the algorithm decided to introduce us to 13 year old song by an Italian Serj Tankian who raps while a funko pop version of himself is yodelling and doing a silly dance is purely sensetional
Especially when you find out that the song is actually from 2004 and it's about how the singer doesn't understand anything about how society works.

Italian Schizo-Rap is something I didn't know I needed in my life... but boy am I happy I found it! Perfecto!
I can't believe this old Caparezza Song got so famous.
My little Italian heart is so happy
