I like the effect of this. The resin seems less wasteful than the one where you have to mix two parts together, as you only use what you need. Thanks for showing us. Hugs Lynn

One great thing about using UV resin is the quick curing time means that you don't have nearly the problem with dust, pet hair/dander, pollen, tiny bugs or whatever is in the air getting into the resin, like you do with the resins that take hours to cure. Sometimes even covering pieces with long-curing resins while they cure doesn't solve this problem.
Also, the ability to add more layers of resin immediately is great, especially if you do a lot of this type of project. With the long-curing resins, each additional layer of resin will add as much as another day of curing time that it takes to complete your project.

I love this totorial. I make a lot of things with resin, but I was always wondering if I could put it on something that wasn't in a mold. I just got a big order of decorative paper and it has beautiful tags and pieces I would love to do that to...happy to see everything doesn't have to be in a mold. And it won't run off? I use the 2 part resin. Thanks for sharing. You have a blessed day.

I am going to try and make a front grill badge for my Oldsmobile Bravada using these techniques. It seems as if people love to remove the badges from cars like this & sell them on Ebay I guess, so often times they are missing as mine was when I bought the truck last year. And they are hard to find and real expensive if you even can find one. But making one I think is possible, and the supplies are perhaps not unduely expensive, so I'll give it a shot soon.
