Guys as it is said - India is addictive. You can leave India but it never leaves you! ❤️
Mann it's really true.. ❤️
You Americans realize the huge internet traffic coming from the vast population of India and all of a sudden you start admiring something you labelled as "the third world" for views. You haters😷😷 for views
Well said ❤
True..we are the supreme people of planet earth. The whole world are insects in front of us.
@@जय_संविधान we never believe in such statements , we dont feel anyone is below us, this is our culture that we always respect everyone in this world. our culture is worship non living things as well , like mountains , rivers , wind etc etc , so please request you to don't put such statement that the world is insects in front of us . please represent india in better way .
Maggi is the saviour for all the students living in Hostels.
The packet Maggie that you cook over the stove is a lot better that the cup version. At least for me.. and every other Indian I’ve met.
@@kyle84dlymaabsolutely yes!! I cooked the packet one because it tastes better than cup noodle.
I don't like maggi cup noodles the packet version is better
Packet thing is Best thing to do when bored and in pastimes, sometimes adding some more spice to it with schezwan chutney makes things so better for someone like me who love the burning of tongue thing and making it on stove gives you chance of water level whether you want it more watery soupy or more like solid maggi
😂😂
This was a VERY tasty episode! I think we need to go visit India ASAP as their snacks are AMAZING.

Jalebi is not a packaged snack. It has to be eaten fresh & hot & crispy. Wait till you eat it in India. You'll be in heaven.
I can only imagine how tasty it is fresh in India. We LOVE it! Thanks for watching and please subscribe 🙏😊
@@SnackInvestigationUnit Done. All the best with your channel :)

@@jjjcccc1600 I know that. Although I have had freshly made jalebi in the UK as well. Not saying it was amazing. But even outside India there are options of freshly made jalebi. Although to know the best taste one needs to be on India, is what I meant. Northern parts of India to be more specific.

How are you? JALEBI????
The Jalebi was in the last video part~1
I feel like Khichiya was not cooked at few places. It happens with almost all kind of Papad (that was basically a Papad). What I do is break them in smaller pieces before frying. And if you want to put the entire piece in, make sure to keep your spatula over it and don't let it fold inwards... Great review 💜
Thanks so much for watching 😃
Lol true
Actually, the real sesame seed laddu (balls) made with jaggery (raw sugar) are made at home during festivals and are a whole lot softer and yummier. The manufacturer has most probably over-cooked the sugar a bit to increase the shelf-life, also the laddus probably dried out a bit during transport over time - this happens. You really need to taste the real home-made ones, they are to die for.

I have seen videos about the street food in India and they look soooooo good! Thanks for watching :)
@@SnackInvestigationUnit waiting for your Indian Street food video 😂
@@SnackInvestigationUnit plz make one street video some days
Guys the Khichiya was undercooked. It almost doubles in size when fried. You need to have a lot of oil in a deep frying pan and then fry it when the oil is really hot. Basically heat up the oil until it's really hot and then put the Khichiya inside the oil to fry it. It ll have the same crunchy texture all over within seconds and then you remove it ASAP from the oil before it's burnt. Khichiya is basically a type of PAPAD which are Indian crackers. There are many other types of PAPAD. You can maybe watch UA-cam videos to know how to fry them. Love your videos. Keep them coming❤️
If I could explain things to my girlfriend as well as you explained this here, I wouldn't be single 😅

Deep is NOT a big brand here in India, they’re probably big in abroad as “indian brand” as they’re selling the local/home made items to other nations (which isn’t done by any brand in India). Also, the product is called PAPAD (not khichiya). And NO we don’t dip them into anything.
Rajasthani//Gujrati one is called khichiya/khicha papad. It's the local name though most just refer to it as papad.
love u guys from INDIA
Thanks so much for watching!
Watching you guys eat that cream roll was so nostalgic coz in India cream rolls are pretty rare now but those were my favourites while growing up!!! Love from India
They were DELICIOUS! Thanks for watching!
creamrolls r very commonly available in Mumbai at every tea / chai point outlets. or bakeries.
It hurts seeing one of my favourite choco chip cookie sliding down the rankings 😂 Btw "elaichi" is cardamom not lemon just to clear your doubt :)
Yeah and green lays also

I'd say first thing first You and your daugther seem really kind and humble and she's such a cuteness. i love indian food myself aswell I've been there a lot, one thing for sure is that the real maggi that you got comments for must be the one that's packed and has to be actually cooked, maybe give that thing a try.
Jalebi = Happiness ♥️

So about 25 years ago, when Lays started selling chips in India, it was branded as Ruffles lays. They then dropped the Ruffles bit and ever since then all the PepsiCo chips are called lays.
The sesame balls is called Til (Sesame seeds) and Gool (Jaggery) they also add peanuts. the hardness of the Ladoo depends on how you cook it. These round balls are made when the mix is hot, when it cools, it hardens
Even though they were tough to eat - they were still good!
@@SnackInvestigationUnit YES, many of the traditional households especially in Western India make it, they are hand rolled into balls when the mix is hot, These are specially made for Festival of Sankranti which occurs on 2nd week of Jan to indicate that the sun rays fall directly on the southernmost point of its yearly journey, and now the Sun will move north. This day is also famous for Kite flying.
Congratulations on 1st sponsor ...love from India

that yogurt lays chips pack is from turkey as I understand it. It may have been sent to you guys by mistake.
Yaa that was what I was thinking.. like I haven't had them or even heard of them in my life!!
Yeah. I was wondering what that was.
Sonapapdi, all southern India, cheedai, sweet cheedai , Ribbon, Karasevai, Sweet Karasevai, cooked snacks include adhirasam, suyam, panagam a drink, Aam rus, thenkuzhal, etc

So nice of you! Thanks :)
Indian Candies -
1. Mangobite by Parle
2. Coffee Bite by Lotte
3. Nutties by Cadbury
Dude the girl's every second reaction is that she nods and then say "so good"
The Yogurt Lays seem to be Turkish. I have never seen them in India.
The sesame laddoos can be popped in whole and you suck the sugar off till it falls apart. That what I do after a couple of root canals.
No we also have softer version for it bro you know right
The sesame seed balls are much softer and gooey when made and eaten fresh. You are right on the Kha- ka -ra as you can sprinkle some chopped onions and tomatoes on them and goes down well with a chilled bottle of beer. So good.
It gets smoother after few seconds ,then you can chew it , but problem with Indian food is you have to keep your dentist next to you😂😂
Thanks for tasting our Indian snacks. And relishing them We in India have amazing snacks of different states and all our mouth watering. Do visit India you will not be disappointed
in India they started as ruffles lays , even the very first ad said " RUFFLES LAYS NO ONE CAN EAST JUST ONE "
Maggi is an emotion in India. Everyone in India eats maggi. 0 haters of maggi.

U know what u can make 10 to 15 vedios on indian snacks.... Because there is literally no end.... So u guys switch to "Indian dishes" and that too have different categories... So I think you will be blown away by this...❤️
Parle G is one Biscuit which every Indian is tried with milk or tea in some point in their life and Maggi is life if u are a traveller, Hostelier, bachelor, spinster, a person who doesn't know to cook yet likes his or her taste buds tingled. And if u are traveling to ladakh or something then Maggi is The Food.
Just the tip of the iceberg. You should try 1) Haldirams dry samosa 2) Haldirams Punjabi samosa ( frozen) bake it 405 F 15 min or fry them till they are golden brown, 3) Janaki ribbon pakoda 4) Amma salt and pepper banana chips 5) Haldirams Bhujia sev 6) Haldirams aloo bhujia 7) Haldirams chakli 8) Raju thikha mixture 9) Haldirams rasgolla 10) Haldirams gulag jamun 11). Haldirams rasmalai 12) Haldirams Bhel puri 13) Haldirams Pani puri ( a ready to eat version is available) . Once you get done with these can suggest many more! It’s a diverse country and with each 100 miles food, flavor and language changes, making culinary legacy a treasure that you might not get bored even after years of tasting.
These are some amazing suggestions! Please subscribe and share the channel. We will try to find these near us and do more Indian snack videos!
When you try spicy snacks of India to avoid the spice heat you munch longer and then swallow it so it tones down the heat and is mild in the .throat A very good side dish with drinks like beer.Khakra when dipped in a lemon pickle tastes heavenly.
Before Lays entered the Indian market, we had Ruffles... Then they just sold the same product with the Lays brand.
What's that never heard of it
@@user-uz3or9yf6l
It's a potato chip brand that was launched in Indian market between 1995 and 1996. They even had huge family packs for 50 bucks. It was back then called Ruffles Lay's, then a few years later, it became only Lay's - no one can eat just one, the most famous potato Chip brand in India which even acquired its main competitor, Uncle Chipps. Lay's belong to Frito-Lay which is the snack brand for PepsiCo company.

The 1st u had, KHICCHIYA, can be had warm from the deep fryer.
Keep finely chopped onions, cucumber, tomatoes, Jalapeño, ready. Put on top. & eat.
Also mainly flavoured chips are ruffled, 'coz the ruffles/crinks increase the Surface Area of the Chip.

love your reactions...ruffles were the first masala chips in india during 90's which were later branded as ruffle lays and then ruffles left the joint venture and lays stayed back with their new branding but they did steal the ruffles style from them and kept it going....thats why there are ridges on every lays chip in india.

all Indian food have some or the other health benefits.. our food is designed to keep our body healthy, and ofcourse every food has to be eating in a limit :). btw Jaggery is a Sweet solid which is made from Sugar cane, it is that which is comes before it is tured to Sugar with the refining process.
