Wow I'm so glad the youtube algorithm sent me here! This is fantastic. I'm just beginning my journey into Japanese. I've got the genki books but was a bit daunted as I've heard they are better in a classroom setting. This makes it more accessible for me.

Trying to study out of a textbook by myself really made me appreciate a thing I always kinda took for granted when i was in school: Having someone with knowledge on the subject explain and give additional context to the topics at hand. Really appreciate this kinda content for my own studying purposes, even just going over something that I'm pretty sure I already got down is really helpful

Thank you so much for making these videos! I've been working through Genki 1 and it really is a great textbook, but sometimes it's difficult to really grasp the grammar points when reading it over and over by yourself. Just having someone talk through it really helps either clear up things that are unclear, or confirm that I understand it.
