Most people don’t know but by best practices standards for preschools/daycares is to change a baby every two hours. I didn’t realize until people complained about that for cloth diapers that anybody let their kids chill in the same diaper for hours on end. 🤷🏼♀️
Totally! I've been around my friends babies and I can smell they have gone pee and they just leave them in it (for like hours). I love with cloth how you don't have to feel guilty if baby only wears a diaper for 5 minutes before it has to be changed.
@@xsickpuppyyx exactly! I totally understand that you have to budget for how many disposable diapers you go through and letting a baby wear it as long as possible feels like you are getting your money’s worth or putting less in the land fill. No judgement, people gotta do what they gotta do. I just didn’t realize how common it was until cloth diaper threads had so many comments about having to change every 2 hours being an inconvenience.
Thank you so much! I’ve been debating on if I should put my son on cloth diapers. He’s 9 months old. I already do night time cloth diapering. This was so informative.
I cloth diapered my 2nd son ( baby #4) I didn’t know there was a difference between nb diapers and all in one. Only thing I didn’t hear you mention was inserts. How many to use and the different types of inserts. I had the diapers with the pockets and I would use 2 inserts. 1 if it was bamboo.
Hello! I love all of your cloth diapering videos. They are so helpful! I clicked on the diaper rash cream link that you suggested. The link mentioned that if the diapers are made from natural fibers like cotton and hemp then you can use a petroleum based cream. Does that mean that all diaper creams are safe for natural cotton and hemp diapers?

For real, and then they wonder why the kid has persistent diaper rash 🤦♀
I'm one of those "toss everything in the dryer together" people. It's works for us! 😉

Zinc really just can cause some staining, but you can usually get it out with some sunning

Hmm I never noticed that on the site before, I'm really not sure. I've found my favorites and don't really stray from them.
