Hey Melissa, I was wondering if you guys knew that the music used in the season 5 nationals group dance “The Waiting Room” was the same exact music used throughout the entire series as background music, like if something dramatic was going on or suspenseful, etc. ??

Hi Melissa! I danced growing up and was always in awe of your girls’ talent on the show! A few things I was curious about:
1) what really happened in the episode where Maddie forgot her solo? Is that really why Abby was crying or was it another reason we didn’t see?
2) Do you think Maddie and Kenzie will be dance moms themselves or are they kind of over it because of their experience?

Question: what did the girls school when they went to public school think of the girls taking off for either traveling and or dance classes? Hi Melissa I have a question during season 5/6 Maddie missed a lot of rehearsals and training because she was either working with Sia or doing interviews, did all of that professional work take a toll on her dancing, like her technique, flexibility and stamina. Since she was barely training at the studio anymore.

This is a really good question. I always thought they did their dance twice - one for filming and one for judging - but that would mean the version we see is not the version that was judged. Which kind of makes no sense in terms of the show.
