You certainly can do that if you like. :) But for this video the title was "Easy" haha. But yes one of these days I will do a "How to make puff pastry" video.

Depends on where you live. And that defeats the purpose of making it at home and knowing exactly what goes into it. And some people just like making things at home.

Let me ask you something? Are French Fries actually French? Nope. :) Sometimes things are called by a name, even if they are not from that origin. Because everywhere in the States these are called Danishes. Don't get hung up on the name, it doesn't change how it tastes, which is amazing! Also did you watch the whole video? I talked about more options that you can use for the filling. From the popular New York Times cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1017898-cheese-danish the difference here is that I used puff pastry instead of a traditional danish pastry dough which is made with yeast but is also a type of laminated dough. Puff pastry is laminated dough as well, but doesn't contain yeast. another from the super popular Food Network www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/trisha-yearwood/easy-cheese-danish-5515491

Kent, they are danishes. There is more than one kind of danish. This is what we call them in America. And I am American, so yeah. Did I say they were an Authentic Austrian or Denmark or Scandinavian Danishes? No I did not.

Disappointing. The pastry is what makes the danish and this video shows nothing about how to prepare it. Moving on.

This video isn't about the puff pastry. I have a whole different video on how to make puff pastry from scratch, I thought I had added it, but it looks like I forgot, sorry about that. The video would be way too long to do both in one video. Here is the puff pastry from scratch video. ua-cam.com/video/5TIgvvas4QI/v-deo.html which is listed in the description box of this video and in the little suggested video part.

The title is "Easy Cheese Danish" I have already done Croissants from scratch on here, which shows laminating dough. I will do a puff pastry from scratch at some point. Not everyone wants to make the puff pastry from scratch. Chill Scott! haha
