So glad you got a chance to hear this and react. ‘Master of Illusion’ off the same new album is an awesome mid tempo track or as a throwback then definitely ‘Black Ninja’. By the way Battle Beast are touring the US this year with Dragonforce, they are amazing live . I met Noora after a show, she is extremely down to earth, cool and easy to talk to..gotta love this band.

On "Wings of Light" to me what uplifts the song are the two guitar solos, and the bit faded volume "Wings of Light" Noora sings in the very end.
All the best songs from the album were not released as singles: the title track "Circus of Doom" which has this mystical, circus illusion air and "Road to Avalon" which is quite different from all the other songs, they challenge any of them music video ones. "Russian Roulette" is also liked by many, "Freedom" is very fast tempo good old agressive galloping power metal. I hope they make a music video of "Circus of Doom" at least.
Black Ninja should be the next Battle Beast song that you two check out.
If you want to hear a good live version, the one from BCN festival 2015 has decent visual and very good audio.
Edit: after going back and watching it, the BCN rock fest 2015 versions audio can be a bit hard to hear Noora during the verses.
A better live version is from The Token Lounge 2017. Better visually as well.
Or just do the official video, studio version :)
@Nickes Garage While I can appreciate why people always point to Black Ninja, I think it's quite obvious her singing has gotten a lot stronger and more versatile since then.
I like this song and Noora Louhimo's voice. I saw the band live years ago, but still with their old singer Nitte Valo. I think the voices of the ladies are still similar in their uniqueness. If you feel like it, listen to something from the old time album "Steel" from 2012. I would suggest "Justice and Metal" or "Enter the Metal World". :)
Noora is awesome, I love her voice and personality, but Nitte is brilliant too, such power, and should never be overlooked. Great suggestions there from Steel, one of my favourites from that album is Show Me How To Die. Epic. And that time Nitte joined Battle Beast as a guest and sang it as a duet with Noora, it doesn't get more awesome. 🤘🤘

Hei, dere bør check put the vocalist, Noras, performance with Magnus Karlson. Song called the queen of fire. Big fan of both you guys and Battle Beast.
Boy, you are in for a treat! Noora has so many styles to sing and so many genres. BB is a great band and their live shows are legendary. Or you can see Noora in my local pub and she jumps to the stage and buries Twisted Sisters "I wanna be somebody" easily. You need to check her solo and countless feats. with countless band and artist like Amaranthe, Hammerfall, Metal Opera etc...and she made an album with another Finnish power woman Nette Laurenne. I highly recommend "Bitch Fire". Do not fall off you chair!

Noora is the vocal Beast.
The band is pure fire.
This is a great song. Probably a little poppish for the deathcore folks, but that's not Battle Beasts' target audience.
If there was still a 3-4 minute-format radio community out there, this song would be right up at the top.
